Abstract

This review aimed to discuss current literatures of Knowledge Management (KM) role in employee performance. This paper reviewed articles about the effect of KM on performance from several dif- ferent countries. The result of the study shows that all article reviewed have the same same conclusion that there is a positive relationship between KM and employee performance. The important findings suggest that KM is a major indirect factor of organizational performance. Also, KM occupies an impor- tant role in forming an effective platform for learning organizations. However, how knowledge man- agement influences competitive advantage such as knowledge, behavior, attitude, and its influence on performance had not attract the attention of researchers. This study suggests future studies to include intervening variables such as competitive advantage, knowledge, behavior, and attitude, to gain a deeper understanding of knowledge management’s role in improving employee performance..

Abstract

The importance of cleaning services are considered to be more and more important because at all times a clean and healthy environment is needed. The cleaning service industry is closely related to room and environment cleanliness, such as in hospitals, hotels, office buildings, to residential areas. However, positions in cleaning service industry are less attractive to workers. One of the important questions that has to be answered is whether the importance of work in the cleaning service industry is also in line with the number of research conducted in cleaning service industry. This literature mapping aims to find out how many scientific articles related to this industry, especially the ones from Indonesia who are indexed by various scientific literature search sites on the internet. This paper is also useful to provide a reference for researchers who will conduct research on this industry in Indonesia. The data showing that total research publications on the cleaning service industry by researchers from indonesia are relatively same compared to the literature on the same industry published by researchers from abroad. However, the literature published by researchers from Indonesia in English is still relatively a few compared to the literature published in Indonesian language. The importance of cleaning services are considered to be more and more important because at all times a clean and healthy environment is needed. Abstract

Hendarjanti H, DB Heri, Nawangsari LC.  2022. Impact green training and environmentally friendly behavior to green supply chain management towards sustainable palm oil industry (case study on oil palm farmer in Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatera). In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-10 Tahun 2022, Palembang 27 Oktober 2022. pp. 885-897. Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Oil palm smallholders have an important role in ensuring the supply of Indonesian crude palm oil. They must increase their production capacity and product quality of palm oil raw materials. Farmers need to make changes so that they can produce quality palm oil. Also, oil palm smallholders need to form a business entity to have strength and selling points in the palm oil processing industry. Farmers are the main actors involved in crude palm oil's environmentally friendly supply chain. This study aimed to examine the impact of green training and environmentally sound behaviour on the availability of green supply chains in a sustainable palm oil industry. This study uses quantitative methods through data collection using questionnaire sheets to 82 oil palm farmers who participated in Oil Palm Cultivation Technical Training in Palembang organized by Badan Pengelola Dana Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit  (BPDPKS), Direktorat Jenderal Perkebunan and Best Planter Indonesia (BPI). Data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modelling software (Smart PLS 3.3.3). The results show that Green Training and Environmentally Friendly Behavior significantly affect Green Supply Chain Management. Green Training implemented in Green Insight Behavior will encourage farmers to take initiatives and take environmentally friendly actions to minimize the impact on the environment. Environmentally Friendly Behavior positively affects Green Supply Chain Management, especially on Integrated Pest Management. This study develops a comprehensive empirical model that examines the co-effect of Green Training and Farmer Environmentally Friendly Behavior in achieving a sustainable oil palm agribusiness industry.
