Abstract

Introduction High stress among nurses can affect the performance and quality of services in hospitals. Effective stress management is the key to improving nurse performance and the quality of health services. Therefore, optimizing stress management is an important focus in efforts to improve nurse performance. The aim of this service aims to optimize stress management strategies and evaluate their impact on improving the performance of nurses in hospitals. The methods used include stress management training for nurses in hospital inpatient rooms. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and observations before and after strategy implementation. Results Nurse performance scores and stress levels were measured using a questionnaire. Before implementing the strategy, the average nurse performance score was 3.5 with an average stress level of 4.2. After implementing the stress management strategy, the performance score increased to 4.1 and the stress level decreased to 3.2, indicating that the stress management strategy was successful in improving nurse performance and reducing stress levels. Optimizing stress management is effective in improving nurse performance and reducing stress levels in hospitals. This program makes a positive contribution to the quality of health services and the work welfare of nurses. Recommendations include continued implementation of these strategies and provision of additional support for nurses.

Abstract

Introduction: Indonesia is a developing country with a fairly large number of mental sufferers. The prevalence of emotional mental disorders with symptoms of depression and anxiety in the population continues to increase so that the tendency to self-harm and suicide continues to increase. Suicide cases in Indonesia can reach 10,000 or the equivalent of every hour there is a suicide case Objective: Participants in this activity totaled 187 people with an age range of 12 to 15 years Method: implementation of the MENTARI assessment application on adolescent mental health Result: The results obtained after using the MENTARI application were that the majority of teenagers had emotional, behavioral and peer problems. Conclusion: Many things and conditions can cause pressure (stress) during adolescence. They are faced with various changes that are occurring within themselves as well as development targets that must be achieved according to their age.

Abstract

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of life is an important effort to improve the health and development of babies. Objective: This aims to optimize maternal health knowledge in Sukamulya Village in order to increase their compliance with breastfeeding. Method: This service program involves several main activities: (1) Health Education: Holding training sessions and seminars regarding the benefits and techniques of breastfeeding for mothers in the village. Education is carried out by medical personnel and nutritionists. (2) Individual Counseling: Providing personal consultations for mothers who experience difficulties or have questions regarding breastfeeding. (3) Providing educational materials: Distributing brochures, posters and practical guides on exclusive breastfeeding to mothers in Sukamulya Village. Results: After program implementation, maternal health knowledge regarding breastfeeding has increased significantly. Data shows that adherence to breastfeeding increased from 45% before the intervention to 75% after the program was implemented. Feedback from participants shows an increase in understanding and application of breastfeeding practices in their daily lives. Conclusion: Optimizing maternal health knowledge through education and counseling is effective in increasing compliance with breastfeeding in Sukamulya Village. This program shows that a knowledge-based approach can improve awareness and practice of breastfeeding, contributing to the health and well-being of babies. Recommendations for further program development include sustainable implementation and strengthening community support.

Abstract

Introduction: Inmates (hereinafter referred to as WBP) often experience mental health disorders including depression, severe stress, and anxiety. This affects the quality of sleep which will trigger other health problems such as heart failure, coronary heart disease, and heart attacks. Objective: to socialize and train five-finger therapy or hereinafter referred to as Five Finger Therapy in improving sleep quality in Inmates (WBP). Method: th method of this activity uses lectures in socialization and training simulations. The number of participants is 40 people. The activity starts from the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and observations before and after the implementation of therapy. Result: the results of the activity showed that out of 40 respondents to WBP in the Class 2B Banjar City male prison, it was found that before Five Finger Therapy was carried out, 30 WBP experienced poor sleep quality (75.0%) and 10 people or 25% had good sleep quality. After Five Finger Therapy was carried out, the category of good sleep quality increased to 32 people (80.0%) and poor quality decreased to 18 people (20.0%). Conclusion: this indicates that Five Finger Therapy has successfully improved the quality of WBP sleep, so that the training is effective in improving the quality of sleep of male WBP in prison. This therapy makes a positive contribution to the mental health of WBP. Recommendations for the continued implementation of five finger therapy and the importance of support from friends and prison officers in facilitating the action
