Abstract

Project cost control is important in the project management process to avoid losses. Project control can be carried out in terms of cost and time. One way to control project costs is to choose the design, materials to be used in the project, and the implementation methods to be used. The objective of this study is to obtain an alternative structural design with an optimal construction cost of structural work by considering the use of concrete quality in reinforced concrete structures, column spacing and cross-sectional dimensions of structural elements. The existing design is to use quality K250 concrete. In this study the cost analysis of the concrete structure, foundation, tie beam, beam, column and ring beam work results from value engineering. The stages of research start from the design information stage, the creative stage that is determining the design alternatives and the analysis stage. The analysis was carried out by structural analysis using SAP2000 and analysis of concrete work costs. The results of the analysis of alternative designs namely reducing the dimensions of the cross-section, using K300 quality concrete, eliminating structural elements that do not need to meet in the calculation of the structure. The next step is to calculate the cost of the concrete work. Concrete structure work when using an alternative design that is to reduce the dimensions of the structure, change the quality to K300 and eliminate unnecessary elements that can save costs by IDR.35,956,756.00 or 37.02%.

Abstract

Abstract Badung regency in Bali, where the tourism industry is growing very rapidly. Building continues to grow, such as hotels, villas, resorts, hospitals, and so forth. Implementation of building construction projects in Badung not be separated from the issue of costs, quality of execution and completion time of the project. These problems arise due to lack of skills / competencies project manager of the responsibility to integrate and coordinate all available resources for the achievement of project objectives. In this case the role of Project Manager will determine the success of a project. So, there should be a study of the basic capabilities that must be owned by the Project Manager, among others: Conceptual Skills, Technical Skill, and Soft Skills. Data collection is done by the method of observation and surveys. Factor analysis was conducted to identify factors / characteristics Project Manager that affect the quality of the construction project implementation performance. Multiple linear regression analysis determined the relationship of the performance characteristics of the project manager building construction projects in Badung. Factor analysis resulted in the identification of 22 variables that affect the quality of the building construction project implementation performance. Multiple linear regression analysis determines the characteristics of the Project Manager greatest influence on the quality of the building construction project implementation performance is Social Skills aspect of 33.08% compared to the other two aspects, namely the conceptual skills (32.10%) and Technical (9.40%) . The total value of the influence of the three aspects of the characteristics of the project manager of 74.58% means that there are still approximately 25.42% influenced by other factors, such as the state of nature, the environmental situation, location, and so on, the implementation of building construction projects in Badung.

Abstract

A construction project is an activity to achieve results in the form of infrastructure. Therefore, good resource management is needed so that the project is cost effective, on time and meets the specified quality. With good control on material management, contractors will benefit from the effective use of materials. This study aims to determine the effect of material management on the performance quality of building construction projects in Denpasar City. This research method was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. Data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with the help of SPSS 19.0 application. Based on the results of the analysis in this study partially, material procurement planning is in accordance with specifications, material purchases are in accordance with the planning, material delivery according to specifications and installation schedules, material storage and security, material use in accordance with material characteristics, and material control by the logistics department has an effect on performance quality of construction project implementation. While testing the coefficient of determination shows that all independent variables in this study have significant effect on the quality of performance construction project implementation by 83.2% (R = 0.832), and the remaining 16.8% is influenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

Mitra pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Kelompok Tani Sari Pertiwi yang berlokasi di Desa Sidan, Kecamatan Gianyar, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali. Kelompok ini bergerak di bidang pertanian sayur seperti seledri, sayur hijau dan cabai. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dengan masyarakat sasaran disepakati bahwa permasalahan yang akan diselesaiakan melalui program kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah sistem pertanian hidroponik selama ini masih menggunakan listrik PLN sebagai sumber penggerak pompa air, sehingga kurang ramah lingkungan dan pembebanan finansial. Upaya pemecahan masalah dilakukan melalui program kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah: pembangunan teknologi hidroponik dan instalasi panel surya sebagai sumber energi listrik bagi pompa air di dalam teknologi hidroponik sistem NFT. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode PALS (participation action learning system) dan ceramah-diskusi.

Abstract

Mitra pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Kelompok Tani Sari Pertiwi yang berlokasi di Desa Sidan, Kecamatan Gianyar, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali. Kelompok ini telah menggunakan hidroponik tenaga surya dalam sistem pertaniannya. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dengan masyarakat sasaran disepakati bahwa permasalahan yang dicarikan solusinya melalui program kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah sistem pertanian hidroponik yang selama ini masih terbuka, sehingga rentan terhadap pengaruh perubahan iklim dan polusi udara. Upaya pemecahan masalah dilakukan melalui program kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah pembangunan green house sebagai tempat bagi sistem hidropinik tenaga surya yang telah dimiliki. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode PALS (participation action learning system) dengan substitusi ipteks. Luaran yang telah dihasilkan melalui program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah teknologi tepat guna hidroponik tenaga surya di dalam sebuah green house.
