Abstract

Marketing of fishery products must be carried out efficiently so that fishermen and consumers are not harmed. The purpose of this study was to analyze the marketing system, margin value, fisherman's share for skipjack, tuna and tuna in TPI Kuala Idi. Determination of respondents using purposive sampling method. The results of the study were obtained for Cakalang fish, the total marketing margin on marketing channel II was greater, namely Rp. 5,800 and channel I obtained the highest Df, namely 89%. For Tuna, the total marketing margin in marketing channel II is greater, namely Rp. 6,400 and channel I obtains the highest Df, namely 86%. For tuna, the total marketing margin on marketing channel II was greater, namely IDR 5,800 and channel I obtained the highest Df, namely 87%. From the results of Fisherman's Share calculations, the three marketing channels above the percentage share received by fishermen from TPI is 89% and is the largest percentage of other marketing calculations. It can be concluded that the marketing agency TPI Kuala Idi, East Aceh District plays an important role in the share of the results received by fishermen.

Abstract

Koi fish is a type of ornamental fish whose color and unique body shape are one of the attractions of koi fish. This study aims to determine and evaluate the effect of fasting time on the growth and survival of koi fish (Cyprinus carpio) which are fasted periodically at optimum temperature. The method used in this study was the RAL experimental method (completely randomized design) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The fasting treatment used was the non-fasting treatment as (control), 1 day of fasting and 1 day of feeding, 1 day of fasting and 2 days of feeding, and 1 day of fasting and 3 days of feeding. Each treatment used seeds measuring 4-5 cm. Parameters observed were absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, daily growth rate, survival rate and feed conversion ratio. The results of the study based on the analysis of variance showed that fasting in koi fish had a significant effect (P<0.05) on absolute weight growth and daily growth rate and had no significant effect on growth in absolute length, survival raet and feed conversion ratio. The best treatment of periodic fasting is in treatment P2 = 1 day of fasting 1 day of being feed.

Abstract

Selection of fish based on DNA markers is a method or technique that has started to develop rapidly in the field of genetics and fish breeding. Selection based on DNA markers utilizes the genetic information contained in fish DNA to obtain individuals with characteristics appropriate to the stages and production of aquaculture in a timely, efficient, and measurable manner. This literature review presents several discussions and literature sources that are quite relevant regarding various aspects of DNA marker-based fish selection, including the basic principles, analytical methods, benefits, and challenges based on DNA markers, and discusses how the most recent developments in the use of methods in the process of genetic breeding and fish selection, as well as the potential for future applications.
