Abstract

MOOC is a learning system in the form of an online course that was massive and open to allow participants to enjoy unlimited and can be accessed via the web. Mathematics Techniques taught by using MOOC that will be developed are expected to be liked by students. Therefore it is necessary to do research related to student interest in studying the MOOC. This study uses a dummy regression model. Dummy regression is considered a suitable model because dummy regression can quantify qualitative data. Qualitative data here are obtained from questionnaires which distributed to 240 students. The questionnaire contains indicators of student interest in MOOC, including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor interests. The results of this study are the interest of students who do not want to study engineering mathematics through MOOC is lower than the interest of students who are interested in learning engineering mathematics through MOOC. Moreover, the interest of students who do not want to study engineering mathematics through MOOC is lower than the interest of students who do not like to study engineering mathematics through MOOC.

Abstract

Laboratorium Teknik Informatika Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi bertugas untuk menyediakan sarana dan prasarana untuk mendukung pendidikan vokasi untuk mencetak tenaga terampil yang mampu bersaing di dunia kerja saat ini melalui kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium. Pengelola laboratorium mengalami kesulitan dalam mengelola, melaporkan dan mengambil kebijakan karena sedikitnya informasi tentang keadaan inventaris laboratorium baik peralatan maupun bahan habis pakai. Kesulitan juga dialami ketika menentukan pengajuan bahan habis pakai laboratorium pada setiap tahunnya, seringkali terjadi perbaikan berulang kali terhadap pengajuan bahkan pernah terjadi gagal pengadaan pada tahun tertentu. Hal ini disebabkan oleh proses inventarisasi serta pelayanan alat dan bahan habis pakai yang masih menggunakan formulir tertulis dan program spreadsheet seperti Microsoft Excel. Algoritma C4.5 merupakan algoritma dengan menggunakan pohon keputusan. Semakin banyak data yang digunakan sebagai bahan pembelajaran sistem, semakin tinggi tingkat akurasi kinerja algoritma ini. Hasil implementasi sistem informasi laboratorium menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi berbasis web ini sudah mampu melayani kebutuhan peminjaman, pengembalian, pengelolaan dan pelaporan data inventaris laboratorium. Sedangkan implementasi algoritma C4.5 dalam menentukan kelayakan pengajuan pengadaan bahan habis pakai laboratorium menunjukkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 89.47%

Abstract

Authentication of vehicle in and out of the parking lot is one of the problems that still need to be explored. Most parking lot authenticate the vehicle by record the number plate on the parking card. Officer verify the number plate on parking card with the vehicle registration certificate. This method requires accuracy of the parking attendant. Research carried out utilizing the vehicle driver's fingerprint identification and the introduction of vehicle number plates through photos by parking attendants as authenticator. The system is built from several devices, namely ultrasonic sensors to detect the presence of vehicles. Fingerprint sensor to detect fingerprints equipped with storage to store fingerprint templates. Webcam for taking photos of vehicles as verification when the vehicle exits the parking lot. While the portal door is driven by a servo motor. all systems are controlled using Raspberry Pi 3 using the python programming language. The test results on ultrasonic sensors are able to detect the presence of vehicles at a distance of 10-200 cm with an accuracy rate of 96%. Servo motor rotates position 0 ° if the Duty Cycle value is set 2.5 and rotates 90 ° if the DutyCycle 7.5 value. The webcam position is 2 meters from the location of the fingerprint sensor. The position of the pressed finger produces a faster process in identifying the character of the fingerprint during recording and matching fingerprints

Abstract

Abstract. Alumni tracking or what is known as a tracer study is one of the most important activities at this time, especially in vocational-based education. With the link and match carried out in schools with industry, schools will be able to know the quality of their graduates and further information can be used to improve the learning curriculum.Currently, Ihya Ulumuddin Vocational School is conducting a tracer study still using the manual method with paper, when their alumni come to school and the results are not optimal. Completing a study tracker with this method is only able to track less than 15% of the number of graduates each year so that the picture of graduates of SMK Ihya Ulumuddin is very lacking. This data tracking study must also be submitted to the Director General of Vocational Schools at the end of each year and the school always has difficulties in providing this data. From this problem, it is said that the creation of a telegram robot application that is connected to the tracer study web application is the solution to the implementation of this tracer study. The creation of this system begins after building the system with the SMK and the application is complete, trials and implementations are carried out after the alumni graduate. Workshops and training on tracer studies were also carried out to support the implementation of this Telegram-based tracer study system. From the results of this community service, a total of 74% of the graduates were obtained in 2021. With the telegram robot that has been implemented, the tracer study implementation will assist in answering tracer study questions, making it easier to collect data on alumni of SMK Ihya Ulumuddin in an effective and efficient manner in every year.  Abstrak. Pelacakan alumni atau yang disebut tracer study merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang penting dilakukan saat ini, khususnya pada pendidikan berbasis vokasi. Dengan adanya link and match yang dilakukan sekolah dengan industri, maka sekolah akan dapat mengetahui kualitas lulusannya dan nantinya informasi ini dapat digunakan untuk memperbaiki kurikulum pembelajaran. Saat ini, SMK Ihya Ulumuddin melakukan tracer study masih menggunakan cara manual dengan kertas, ketika alumni mereka datang ke sekolah dan hasilnya kurang optimal. Pengisian tracer study dengan metode ini hanya mampu melacak kurang dari 15% jumlah lulusan setiap tahunnya sehingga gambaran mengenai lulusan SMK Ihya Ulumuddin masih sangat kurang. Data tracer study ini juga wajib disampaikan kepada Dirjen Vokasi setiap akhir tahun dan pihak sekolah selalu mengalami kesulitan dalam menyediakan data ini.. Dari masalah tersebut disimpulkan bahwa pembuatan sebuah aplikasi robot telegram yang terhubung dengan web aplikasi tracer study adalah solusi dari pelaksanaan tracer study ini. Pembuatan sistem ini dimulai dengan berdiskusi dalam membangun sistem Bersama pihak SMK dan setelah aplikasi selesai, ujicoba dan implementasi dilakukan setelah alumni lulus. Pelaksanaan workshop dan pelatihan mengenai tracer study juga dilaksanakan dalam mendukung implementasi sistem tracer study berbasis tekegram ini. Dari hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini, didapatkan pengisan sejumlah 74% dari jumlah lulusan di 2021. Dengan adanya robot telegram yang sudah diimplementasikan ini, pelaksanaan tracer study akan terbantu dalam menjawab pertanyaan tracer study sehingga mempermudah pengelola dalam mengumpulkan data alumni SMK Ihya Ulumuddin secara efektif dan efisien dalam setiap tahun.

Abstract

Awareness and the need for authentication or assurance of the authenticity of halal foods is a challenge in many countries, especially in Muslim countries. So, many countries where the majority of the population is Muslim are quite strict in ensuring the sale and purchase of meat, especially in traditional markets. Therefore, this study aim is to find a system to identify the types of meat from the image, such as the initiation of the manufacture of practical technology for the authentication of halal products. In this study, the box-counting method was used to determine the fractal dimension value of the identified animal flesh image. The container counting method uses the texture of the animal’s meat that has unique characteristics of each type. The results of the identification of the animal meat obtained were 24 tests which were correctly identified from a total of 36 test data. This translates into a 66,67% success rate for the system.

Abstract

Sebagai bagian dari instansi pemerintahan daerah di Kecamatan Kabat, Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur, Desa Tambong setiap tahunnya selalu menghasilkan berbagai macam produk hukum. Untuk dapat mempublikasikan produk-produk hukum tersebut, maka Pemdes Tambong membutuhkan sebuah sistem yang dapat diakses oleh masyarakat dan dapat digunakan untuk mencari informasi terkait produk hukum tersebut. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pengembangan aplikasi Jaringan Dokumen dan Informasi Hukum (JDIH) untuk Desa Tambong serta pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi tersebut bagi Pemdes Tambong selaku pengelola utamanya melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Sosialisasi juga dilakukan kepada masyarakat melalui media stand banner agar masyarakat mengetahui keberadaan aplikasi tersebut dan dapat memanfaatkannya.

Abstract

The development of science and technology is increasingly intense to affect various sectors, especially in the field of education. As a result, learning media is required to be of quality and innovate. Banyuwangi Regency is an area rich in culture, tourism and has a regional language, namely Osing language. The majority of MIS Sunan Ampel students actively use osing language as a daily language. However, in the knowledge of osing language values, MIS Sunan Ampel students are considered quite low. The contributing factor is MIS osing language subjects for two years. This is due to the absence of effective learning media during a pandemic. Therefore, online learning media is needed. The stages of this activity start from the development of the SOEMOLI Website (Smart Osing Education Monopoly Game) to student assistance. The results obtained from student mentoring, student interest increased by 25 points, knowledge of the osing language increased by 20 points, cultural understanding and tourism increased by 45 points. So it can be concluded that SOEMOLI is quite effective

Abstract

Tracer study tracking of school alumni has an important role in improving and measuring the quality of education. Currently, Ihya Ulummudin Vocational School carries out tracer studies using manual methods with paper, resulting in limited and less than optimal information. Filling in this method is only able to track 20% of the number of graduates each year. This data must be reported to the Director General of Vocational Studies every year, but the school has difficulty providing this data information. To overcome this, the creation of a web-based tracer study application was carried out in discussion with the SMK. After the application is complete, testing and implementation of the application is carried out with graduating alumni. Workshops and training related to tracer studies were also held to support the use of this system. This application allows filling out questionnaires more quickly and accurately, as well as connecting alumni with the latest information regarding their careers. The results of this service show that the increase in tracer study filling has increased to above 90% and almost 80% of respondents expressed satisfaction with this application. With the website-based tracer study application that has been implemented, it will make it easier for managers to collect data on alumni of SMK Ihya Ulumuddin effectively and efficiently every year, as well as answer tracer study questions more accurately.

Abstract

The Banyuwono Drinking Water User Population Association (HIPPAM) is one of the business units of the Gondowangi Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDES) in Kaligondo Village, Genteng District, Banyuwangi. This business unit is tasked with managing water sources in the village and distributing them to residents' homes in order to meet basic water needs for various community needs. So far, Banyuwono HIPPAM managers have experienced problems in managing residents' payment data because payments are made through collection by the head of the Neighborhood Association (RT) by recording them on payment cards and then reporting them to HIPPAM managers. This method has several disadvantages, such as the data received by the manager is slow, not neat and at risk of being lost or damaged. Likewise in the processing, recapitulation and reporting related to billing, total income and so on. Service activities for the implementation of the HIPPAM Banyuwono web and android application were held to overcome this problem. The activity begins by collecting data on needs and supporting facilities that are already available. This data will be used to design the flow and application design. Next, the design is implemented into a web and Android application using the Laravel framework, Flutter and MySQL database. The resulting web and Android applications have been published via the page http://bumdesgondowangikaligondo.id. 91% of users consisting of 5 HIPPAM officers and 53 RT heads in Kaligondo Village expressed satisfaction with the function and comfort of the application. The results of socialization and training on application use for 5 HIPPAM officers also showed that the officers already understood how to use the application with an average application mastery score of 88.
