Abstract

Indonesia is consist of several islands and have various ethnic, tribal and cultural, so it has great potential in the world of tourism especially cultural tourism. Almost all islands or regions of Indonesia have a culture that can be used as a tourist attraction. One of them is the culture of bugis tribe used as a tourist attraction in Bunga Jabe Karimunjawa. The manager of Bunga Jabe Karimunjawa is currently do development of tourist attraction by carrying the theme of bugis tribal culture as a touristattraction and also as the way to preserve the culture of bugis tribe on Bunga Jabe Karimunjawa. In this research, researchers used qualitative naturalistic methods because in this study conducted on natural conditions and researchers as the key instrument. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation techniques. Some cultures of bugis tribe used as a tourist attraction at Bunga Jabe Karimunjawa beach are local language or bugis language, bugis traditional art of Pecak Silat Baruga and Paduppa Dance, custom homes of bugis tribe or stlit house, dwarf house as an accommodation and bugis typical food. Abstract

Purchasing is part of the accounting department whose job is as a buyer as well as procurement of goods in the form of services and materials and providers of hotel needs that are ordered to vendors. The problem that often occurs in the procurement of goods is that there is often no availability of goods to vendors when there is a request from the hotel. The research method used is qualitative descriptive and data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results of this study are in the form of constraints that often occur in crystal lotus Yogyakarta hotels, namely late delivery of goods, goods that do not match the type and quantity ordered, lack of quality and quantity safeguards and frequent increases in the price of goods, these constraints adversely affect operations hotels, such as guest complaints and hotel cost overruns. The solution to deal with the obstacles experienced by purchasing is that the purchasing party is strived to find a replacement for a vendor that is better and can be consistent with the contract system that has been established and has been agreed by both parties. Abstract

The Sosok Peak tourist destination in the village of Bawuran has abundant natural resources in the form of Moringa plants. Until now, the community has not been able to use Moringa plant to be used as a variety of processed products and has a resale value. This community service program aims to increase the knowledge and skills regarding the use of Moringa leaves. To train and grow an entrepreneurial spirit to the community so that it can improve the economy of the Bawuran village community. The targets of community service activity are the people of Bawuran village, Sosok Peak’s tourism manager and the merchants. The method used in this community service is carried out in several stages including identification, socialization, training and assistance. Community service has provided several benefits to the community, namely an increase in community knowledge about the benefits of Moringa and its use as well as introducing an entrepreneurial spirit. For traders, they can increase their knowledge about processing various food products that can be sold at Sosok Peak. For the tourism manager, this training can create a product image (typical food) for the Sosok Peak tourist destination.

Abstract

Kabupaten Sleman has many tourist attraction objects that can be used as tourist destinations for anyone. The attraction of this city includes the panorama of nature, history, museums, culture, ancient relics, culinary and tourist villages. The number of tourist villages in Sleman regency is in accordance with the data of the Sleman Regency Culture and Tourism Office (Fauzy & Putra, 2015), as many as 38 tourist villages. The tourism village management base generally involves many parties, including by empowering local communities as local communities who play an active role in managing and developing tourism villages. However, according to (Damanik, 2013), "The weak point of the local community in managing tourism services is networking and promotion capabilities". The success of the tourism village manager in influencing the perception of visitors with their promotional tools can trigger the decision to visit. In this case, the right selection of promotional tools (promotional mix) is very important in addition to attracting tourists, as well as the progress of the tourism village itself. The number of tourist visits is a measure of the success of managers in developing the right promotional strategies. The constraints faced by the manager of the tourist village of Kembangarum Turi Sleman Yogyakarta are related to the weak network for promotion. A promotion has been carried out both conventionally and through internet media but not yet interactive, thus reducing the understanding of the wider community of the existence of the Kembangarum tourism village. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method assisted with quantitative data tabulation. The results of the study with relevant data that is read indicate the trend of a shift in the implementation of promotional strategies with media that are conventional to modern with the help of information technology, especially the internet since the period 2015/2016. The conclusions of this study include: it is known that the most optimal use of conventional promotional media is by providing brochures, and word of mouth information. Whereas in the span of the last three years the promotion has focused more on online promotional media through social networks that have been owned by the tourism village manager of Kembangarum. This shift in promotion strategy proved to have an impact on increasing the number of tourist village visitors, especially in the period of 2016/2017 where this promotional strategy began to be implemented since the period of 2015/2016.
