Abstract

This paper aims to introduce the modesty model of the qurani language as an alternative foundation of the politeness theories of language that have been taught so far. This model is important to be applied in the life of industrial revolution society 4.0. Fundamentally the industrial revolution 4.0 has caused changes in the way humans live, think, and interact in establishing relationships with one another. In turn this era has disrupted various human activities. These include language activities which are a form of social interaction. The phenomenon of impoliteness, harassment (bullying), and verbal violence is increasingly massive in the real world. Even the industrial revolution 4.0 which provides easy internet access and advances in information technology has also led to an increase in the phenomenon of hate speech, the dissemination of hoaxes and cyber bullying that can threaten social harmony and the unity of the multicultural Indonesian nation. Therefore it is necessary to develop a polite language education model based on religious teachings.

Abstract

The civil war caused many psychological and physical trauma for common people. As a way to end this suchwar, related parties usually take formal and social measures in peace agreement. In this case, the formationof the truth and reconciliation commission (TRC) in Aceh is one of a task to accomplish after the signingof memorandum of understanding in Helsinki (MoU Helsinki), and the implementation of law number11, 2006 on the Acehnese government. On one side, the situation has urged TRC to be formed in Aceh,however local regulation has not specifically organized the forming of the commission. Reconciliation inAceh comes with its own character by stressing more on the application of religious, custom, and localwisdom approaches without forgetting the effort of truth revealing on some cases of heavy human rightsviolation which occurred during conflict. The Acehnese society is a society who lives with their Islamicvalues and specific custom.

Abstract

The spread of hoaxes related to Covid-19 is increasingly happening, along with the increase in cases of the virus in Indonesia. This is confirmed by data from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics which found around 1,197 hoax issues related to Covid-19 spread across 4 digital platforms. Various efforts have been made by the Indonesian government to reduce the spread of hoaxes in society. One of them is by trapping the perpetrators of hoax spreading using the ITE Law. This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of the Implementation of the ITE Law on the Perpetrators of the Spread of the Covid-19 Hoax on Social Media. The method used in this research is library research method, which is a research method that utilizes library sources in obtaining research data. The type of data used is secondary data. The results of this study conclude that the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions has not been effective in ensnaring the criminal act of spreading fake news or hoaxes related to Covid-19 through digital platforms in Indonesia. This law also does not fully accommodate cases related to false or hoax information.

Abstract

HOTS (Higher Order Thingking Skills) yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas VI perlu dilatih untuk menjadi bekal siswa belajar di tingkat satuan pendidikan berikutnya yakni SMP atau yang sederajat. Data hasil ujian sekolah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Cisempur pada tahun sebelumnya (2021) menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa, termasuk HOTS, masih belum optimal. Nilai siswa masih banyak yang di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) sebesar 70. Upaya untuk meningkatkan HOTS siswa perlu terus dilakukan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan HOTS siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Cisempur melalui penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan yaitu pada tanggal 29 Agustus 2022 dan 12 September 2022. Peserta kegiatan meliputi semua siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Cisempur sebanyak 30 orang. Tahapan kegiatan terbagi menjadi 3 yakni kegiatan pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup. Pada kegiatan pendahuluan, guru melakukan pembiasaan salam dan doa, apersepsi dan motivasi, serta penyampaian tujuan pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan inti dilakukan aktivitas sesuai sintak PjBL (Refleksi, Penelitian, Penemuan, Penerapan, Mengkomunikasikan). Pada kegiatan penutup dilakukan pembuatan kesimpulan, tindak lanjut, dan evaluasi. Pertemuan 1 mempelajari tentang: Tema 3 (Tokoh dan Penemuan), Sub tema 1 (Penemu yang Mengubah Dunia). Pertemuan 2 mempelajari tentang: Tema 3 (Tokoh dan Penemuan), Sub tema 2 (Penemu dan Manfaatnya). Karya siswa (artefak) pada pertemuan ke-1 berupa Rangkaian Listrik dengan nilai rata-rata HOTS sebesar 89,6, sedangkan artefak pada pertemuan ke-2 berupa Peta Pikiran Tokoh dan Penemuannya dengan nilai rata-rata HOTS sebesar 90,1. Dengan demikian, penerapan model PjBL telah meningkatkan HOTS siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Cisempur untuk pembelajaran tentang Tema 3.
