Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelas V SD N 2 Melinggih Kelod melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, serta refleksi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Melinggih Kelod yang berjumlah 10 orang. Data Pemahaman konsep IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode tes pemahaman Konsep. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa persentase rata-rata siswa sebelum tindakan yaitu 64% dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 50%, pada tindakan siklus I terjadi peningkatan menjadi 73,8% dengan kriteria sedang, dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 70%, pada tindakan siklus II peningkatan menjadi lebih maksimal dilihat dari persetase rata-rata siklus II yaitu 80% dengan kriteria tinggi dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Melinggih Kelod. Kata Kunci: Think Talk Write, pemahaman konsep, IPA   Abstract This study aims to improve the understanding of science concepts of fifth grade students at SD N 2 Melinggih Kelod through the application of Think Talk Whrite cooperative learning models. This type of research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, action, observation / evaluation, and reflection. The sample of this study was fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Melinggih Kelod, totaling 10 people. Data of understanding students' science concepts were collected using the concept understanding test method. The collected data is then analyzed with quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of data analysis showed that the average percentage of students before the action was 64% with a classical completeness of 50%, in the first cycle I action increased to 73.8% with a medium criterion, and classical completeness by 70%, in the cycle II action the increase is more maximal than the average percentage of cycle II, which is 80% with high criteria and classical completeness of 90%. It can be concluded that by applying Think Talk Write cooperative learning model can improve the understanding of science concepts of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Melinggih Kelod.
