Abstract

Melon has a high economic value because of its sweet, fresh fruit taste and high vitamins and carbohydrates to improve people's nutrition. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organic fertilizer bokashi rice straw on the growth and yield of melons. The research was conducted on farmers' land, Matalamagi Village, East Sorong District, Sorong City, West Papua. The research was conducted from January to March 2021. The variables observed were when shoots appeared, plant height, number of leaves at flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit plants, number of fruit plots, fruit circumference, and fruit weight. The research data were analyzed by means of variance (ANOVA), if there was a significant difference, then continued with the LSD (Least Significance Difference) test at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of organic fertilizer bokashi rice straw had a significant effect on the character of the components of growth and yield of melon plants. Treatment with a dose of organic fertilizer bokashi rice straw (j2) 10 t/ha or 4.50 kg/plot resulted in the highest TT at 2 weeks old (21.08) cm and 6 weeks old (87.06 cm), JD (7.17 strands). ), UB (27.79 days). Meanwhile, increasing the dose of organic fertilizer bokashi rice straw (j3) 15 t/ha or 6.75 kg/plot resulted in JBT (1.75 pieces), JBP (20.88 pieces), LB (42.53 cm) and BB (1 ,8 kg).

Abstract

Rice plants from planting to production really need nutrients to increase production optimally. The application of cow dung compost fertilizer aims to prove the effect of treatments with different doses on the growth and production of mahsuri rice varieties. Research on the application of cow dung compost fertilizer was carried out in Makbalim village, Mayamuk District, Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua. The experiment was conducted from May to October 2023. The experiment used Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 4 levels of dose treatment namely; B0 = 0 kg (without fertilizer), B1 = 4 kg plot-1, B2 = 6 kg plot-1, B4 = 8 kg plot-1. Research data were analyzed using variance analysis (anova). If the research data is significantly different, it is continued with BNT test at 0.5% confidence level. The results showed that the treatment dose of 6 kg plot-1 affected the total number of tillers, the number of productive tillers, the total number of grains and GKP production, while the treatment dose of 8 kg plot-1 was able to increase plant height and 1000-grain weight. The best treatment with the optimal dose of 6 kg plot-1 was able to increase the highest dry grain production (GKP) reaching 6.30 tons/ha.

Abstract

One type of vegetable commodity is very popular with the people of Indonesia, namely mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) because it has a number of minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates and vegetable proteins that are beneficial to the health of the human body. Green mustard production is relatively good and has a relatively short harvest age of 40-50 days, so it is very feasible to be cultivated in a competitive cultivation system because it has good market opportunities so that it can provide adequate benefits in increasing farmers' income. The research was conducted in July-September 2023 using RAK with 5 treatment levels of goat manure Tricho POC organic fertiliser dosage. K0 = without using Tricho POC goat manure fertiliser (control), K1 = Tricho POC goat manure 5 ml/litre water, K2 = Tricho POC goat manure 10 ml/litre water, K3 = Tricho POC goat manure 15 ml/litre water, K4 = Tricho POC goat manure 20 ml/litre water. A dose of 20 ml/litre of tricho POC goat manure water, is the best dose treatment in increasing the growth and yield of green mustard plants.

Abstract

One of the most important food crops for Indonesian people is rice. The research location is Klaru Village in Mariat District, Sorong Regency. The experiment will take place from March to May, 2024. This study was carried out using experimental methods through field trials. Randomized Block Design, or randomized group design, consists of four stages of super bokashi MA-11 organic fertilizer treatment, namely A0 = no fertilizer (control), A1 = 5 tonnes/ha (3.125 kg/plot), A2 = 7 tonnes/ha (4,375 kg/plot), and A3 = 9 tons/ha (5,625 kg/plot). The research results showed that the application of superbokashi MA-11 organic fertilizer increased the growth and production of Mekongga rice varieties. Average production ranged between 4.08 tonnes/ha and 6.94 tonnes/ha. The highest production of 6.94 tons/ha was achieved with a dose of 9 tons/ha, followed by 6.10 tons/ha with a dose of 7 tons/ha, and 5.50 tons/ha with a dose of 5 tons/ha. In the treatment without fertilizer, the lowest yield reached 4.08 tons/ha. LoA, Kor

Abstract

Pemberian dosis 6 kg/petak menghasilkan produksi biji tertinggi 2,72 ton/ha.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the response of growth and yield of long bean plants to the application of organic goat manure fertilizer. The experiment used a randomized block design consisting of 4 treatments such as K0 = No fertilizer (control), K1 = 2 kg/goat manure plot, K2 = 3 kg/goat manure plot, and K3=6 kg/goat manure plot. The treatment was repeated three times. Each experimental plot contained 25 plants. Five plants from each plot were selected as samples. The results showed that the treatment with a dose of 7 kg/plot produced the highest long bean yields of 13.53 kg/plot and 8.22 t/ha, respectively. A fertilizer dose of 7 kg/plot is the recommended dose for the farmer when planting long beans.
