Abstract

In this paper, we studied ant colony optimization for solving integrated scheduling of production and distribution problems. We improved the ant colony optimization by adding double selections, there are, roulette wheel and elitism selections. Roulette wheel selection is used to determine the path where ants pass through before knowing pheromone information in that path. Meanwhile, elitism selection is used to keep the best solution before the more optimum solution obtained. Then, ant colony optimization and improved ant colony optimization are implemented in solving integrated scheduling of production and distribution problem in PT. BFPI. The aim of this paper is to achieve optimum production and distribution schedule in order to minimize the total cost of production and distribution. We also compare performance of both applied methods and draw the conclusion. The results show that the method we proposed has more advantage.

Abstract

Abstract Models in mathematic is a media to help and that can be used for simplifying a reality, so that it will make an easier understanding on a complexs phenomenon. Transportation models is a model that can be used for explaining the transportation phenomenon with mathematic equation models. Based on the accident data, the number of traffic accident in Malang Residence is considered to be high. Therefore, in this study, the objective is to develop the Generalized Linear Model for motorcycle accident for Malang Residence in East Java Province. Using some statistical analysis it is found that the best-fit motorcycle accident model  is : Where : Acc = 0.009F0.703 exp(-0.334SW - 0.361G + 0.077S)Acc                = number of accident F             = Flow, pcu/hr SW         = shoulder width, m S             = speed, km/hr G            = Gradient (0,1) The model shows that the affecting factors are flow, shoulder width and speed, therefore local government should improve some related factor (flow, shoulder width, Gradient and speed) that can reduce the number of motorcycle accident at crossing road in Malang Residence. Keywords: Model kecelakaan sepeda motor, General Liniearized Model

Abstract

Madyopuro terminal is sub-terminal and based on information from relevant official that Madyopuro terminal can be classified in the C-type terminals that serve the transportation route in the town and village (31 KM 1995). The existence of various activity centers, one of which is the Madyopuro  market  located adjacent to the Madyopuro terminal should make the effectiveness of   Madyopuro terminal, but in fact,  it is not   effective.   From this background, it is formulated the problem  about what factors influence the effectiveness operasioanl of  Madyopuro terminal Malang, how is the  relationship model between  effectiveness operational  of Madyopuro-terminal Malang with variable facilities, accessibility, services and terminal security and how is  recommendations  of the performance improvement, to the effectiveness operational  of  terminal  of Madyopuro- Malang.  The study was conducted using IPA analysis to determine the factors that affect the effectiveness operational of the terminal, the model and SWOT analysis to get recomendation that resulted. In the first  stages, we did survey related with  influential variables, namely facilities, accessibility, and security services.   From the study, it is conclude that based on the analysis of  IPA found that the factors that influence the effectiveness of terminal services of  Madyopuro-Malang is the arrival and  the departure path, where the waiting room of passangers / companion, vehicle parking and security control of the user, the driver and related official. Model of the relationship of the study was obtained Ymodel = -0.460 + 0.598 X1 + 0.320 X3.While the Ymodel is effectiveness operational of the terminal  and X1 is variable of facility and X3 are variable of  services. From the results of the analysis show that the effectiveness of the terminal with two related variables, namely facilities and services showed a siqnifikan. This is indicated by the value of R2 from 0.868 shows the effect of the relationship is defined by 86.8%. Recommendations  resulting from this study is facility that  needed  to be increase in  improvement of the terminal operational  is an improvement on arrival and departure paths, providing a passenger waiting / delivery, as well as providing vehicle parking lot.  Keywords: effectiveness, Madyopuro terminal, IPA, SWOT

Abstract

The increase in accidents is caused by a vehicle, humans, roads, and environmental factors. On the gempol national road in Pasuruan,Regency,0this;study;aims,to;identify;the;characteristics;of,car,drivers, roads, and opportunity models that cause accidents. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) included 243 questionnaires of drivers who had experienced accidents. Road Characteristics based on user perceptions that focus on geometric conditions at the accident site are the most prevalent accident modeling results that affect accident intensity. If we want to reduce accident rates, we should prioritize addressing geometric conditions at accident sites, as well as socializing traffic awareness and installing signs in accident-prone areas.
