Abstract

Pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus adalah pendidikan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan fisik, intelektual, emosional, dan sosial anak. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi implementasi Kurikulum K-13 yang Beradaptasi dengan Kurikulum Merdeka pada Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus di SLB-A PRPCN Palembang, dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemajuan yang baik, tetapi masih ada kendala seperti kurangnya guru berkualitas dan fasilitas pembelajaran yang memadai. Untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus, diperlukan upaya berkelanjutan dalam pengorganisasian, motivasi, dan koordinasi. Faktor pendukung meliputi kualifikasi guru yang sesuai dan kerjasama dengan sekolah lain, sementara faktor penghambat termasuk kualifikasi guru yang kurang memadai dan kekurangan media pembelajaran. Dalam kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya upaya berkelanjutan dalam mengatasi tantangan dalam implementasi Kurikulum untuk pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Ini dapat dicapai dengan meningkatkan kualifikasi guru, fasilitas pembelajaran, dan mempertimbangkan faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Upaya ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB-A PRPCN Palembang

Abstract

Special needs education is education tailored to the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social needs of children. This research aims to investigate the implementation of the K-13 curriculum and its adaptation to the Merdeka Curriculum for Children with Special Needs at SLB-A PRPCN Palembang. The method employed is qualitative, involving data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions. The data analysis results indicate that the school principal has successfully organized, provided guidance, motivation, and coordinated effectively with all educational stakeholders at SLB-A PRPCN, including teachers, staff, students, and parents as partners in the educational process. In this process, continuous efforts are necessary to enhance the implementation of the K-13 curriculum that has been adapted to the Merdeka curriculum for children with special needs. These efforts encompass improving teacher qualifications, enhancing learning facilities, and identifying and addressing factors that support or hinder curriculum implementation. It is expected that these actions will have a significant positive impact on the quality of education for children with special needs at SLB-A PRPCN Palembang

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 brings significant innovations and challenges to the education sector in Indonesia. As one of the main pillars for the advancement of future generations, the education sector faces major challenges in adapting to rapid technological developments. The era of the 4.0 revolution demands that the education sector adapt to continuously evolving technology and leverage the ease of access to information and communication technology to support the learning process. Technological disruption, which is a hallmark of the industrial revolution 4.0, has a major impact on changes in the current educational landscape. The methods used in this article include literature analysis and case studies at several educational institutions in Indonesia that have implemented 4.0 technology in the learning process. The discussion in this article covers the identification of technological innovations that have been integrated into the curriculum, changes in teaching methods, and the development of digital competencies among students and educators. The results of the study indicate that the integration of technology in education increases the effectiveness of learning, although there are challenges in its implementation, such as infrastructure limitations and the readiness of human resources. This transformation is expected to create a generation ready to face future challenges and contribute to the nation's progress. The article concludes that despite the challenges that must be overcome, the benefits of applying technology in education are far greater and essential to creating a learning environment relevant to the needs of the 21st century.
