Abstract

Hidrogel merupakan sediaan topikal dengan cara dioleskan pada kulit. Ekstrak daun gaharu terbukti mengandung senyawa flavonoid yang berperan dalam membantu proses penyembuhan luka. Kombinasi karbopol dan HPMC bertujuan untuk menutupi kekurangan karbopol saat digunakan pada konsentrasi tinggi dan memberikan pH asam. Mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi basis karbopol 940 dan HPMC K4M dan hasil stabilitas evaluasi terhadap formulasi hidrogel ekstrak etanol daun gaharu yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan ekperimental dengan rancangan true-eksperimental. Sampel yang digunakan daun gaharu di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu. Determinasi, preparasi, ekstraksi, pembuatan hidrogel dan evaluasi. Data dianalisis dengan statistik ANOVA dan Kruskal-Wallis. Formulasi hidrogel dengan kombinasi basis karbopol 940 dan HPMC K4M memberikan pengaruh terhadap formulasi hidrogel ekstrak daun gaharu dengan uji stabilitas evaluasi organoleptik, homogenitas, pH, viskositas, daya sebar dan daya lekat. Hasil formulasi yang dapat mempertahankan stabilitas evaluasi selama penyimpanan 28 hari pada suhu ruangan adalah F2. Hasil uji statistik pH, viskositas, daya sebar dan daya lekat <0,05, p-value <0,05 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada tiap formula. Adanya pengaruh kombinasi basis karbopol 940 dan HPMC K4M terhadap formulasi hidrogel ekstrak daun gaharu dan formulasi yang baik terdapat pada F2.

Abstract

Formulations of Herbal medicine are continuously being developed to improve health and treatment through natural ingredients obtained from the surrounding environment with scientific evidence. Common problems in herbal medicine are bioavailability, solubility, absorption of active substances and low stability. Recently, it has become a development trend to enter the realm of nanoparticle technology to its application in herbal drug formulations. Nanoparticle technology is a technology of drug particles are made on the nanoscale (10 nm-1000 nm). Many studies have been carried out on the development and application of nanoparticle-based delivery technology containing natural ingredients, from these results nanoparticle-based delivery technology has succeeded in delivering these natural materials through certain mechanisms in increasing the activity and bioavailability of herbal medicinal compounds. Particles at the nanoparticle scale have distinctive physical properties compared to particles at a larger size, especially in increasing the amount and purpose of delivering drug compounds. Another advantage of nanoparticle technology is the potential to be combined with other technologies, thus opening up opportunities to produce more perfect and targeted delivery systems. Examples of nanotechnologies that can be used are polymer nanoparticles, solid lipid particles, magnetic nanoparticles, and others. The manufacture of preparations based on nanoparticle technology is an alternative in the manufacture of herbal medicines and it is hoped that the bioavailability and therapy produced in the body will be better.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Bayi di nyatakan BBLR jika mempunyai berat kurang dari 2500 gram ketika lahir, tanpa memperdulikan usia kehamilan 37-42 minggu. Berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR) merupakan salah satu penyumbang terbesar angka kematian bayi (AKB). Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa yang mempengaruhi terjadinya BBLR di RSUD Muara Teweh Kabupaten Barito Utara Tahun 2022. Metode: Jenis penelitian retrospektif dengan desain penelitian case control,dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling dengan sampel minimal yg di teliti sebanyak 30 orang secara acak yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu 15 sampel kelompok kasus yaitu BBLR dan 15 sampel kelompok kontrol yaitu bayi lahir berat normal. Hasil: Dari 30 ibu bersalin yang umurnya berisiko <20 tahun dan >35 tahun sebanyak 7 orang (23,3%), usia kehamilan yang berisiko <37 minggu sebanyak 8 orang (26,7%),memiliki komplikasi kehamilan yang berisiko sebanyak 12 orang (40%), kehamilan gamelli sebanyak 3 orang (10%). Hasil uji analisis untuk hubungan faktor umur ibu menunjukkan nilai ρ value sebesar 0,006 (< 0,05), usia kehamilan nilai ρ value 0,002 (< 0,05), komplikasi kehamilan nilai ρ value 0,000 (< 0,05),kehamilan gamelli nilai ρ value 0,224 (> 0,05). Kesimpulan: Dari empat variabel penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan ada tiga variabel yang berhubungan yaitu umur ibu, usia kehamilan, komplikasi kehamilan dan satu variabel yang tidak berhubungan yaitu kehamilan gamelli dengan kejadian Berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR) di RSUD Muara Teweh Kabupaten Barito Utara Tahun 2022.

Abstract

Daun Beluntas (Pluchea indica L) dapat tumbuh di daerah kering pada tanah yang keras dan berbatu, pada daerah dataran rendah hingga dataran tinggi. Seiring dengan meningkatnya teknologi bahan alam dan kecenderungan masyarakat, maka diperlukan adanya suatu acuan yang memuat persyaratan mutu bahan alam. Hasil uji kadar ektrak larut air mendapatkan hasil 13.387 %. Pada uji kadar ektrak larut etanol mendapatkan hasil 0,454. Pada skrinning fitokimia menjelaskan bahwa tanaman beluntas mengandung tanin, alkaloid, steroid/terpenoid, flavonoid, dan saponin.

Abstract

Background: Complementary care in some midwifery communities has become important to midwifery practice. One of the reasons why complementary midwifery care is currently widely used is the desire to avoid the side effects of drugs. Based on the birth register at Independent Practice of Midwife Darmawati from September to December 2023, the average number of births was 25 patients a month, with postpartum visit data recorded as 89% of postpartum mothers consuming lemongrass decoction (Cymbopogon citratus) during the postpartum period. Lemongrass is a natural resource proven to speed up the healing process. Lemongrass is rich in potassium, which stimulates blood circulation, improves blood flow, and helps increase endurance. Objective: The aim is to determine the effect of consuming lemongrass decoction on shortening the postpartum period. Method: This research method uses a quasi-experimental research design with a treatment group and a control group design. The population of this study was all postpartum mothers recorded in the IPM Darmawati birth register from September 2023 to January 2024. This research used a tool in the form of an observation sheet which was filled out by respondents in the treatment group every time they drank lemongrass decoction according to the manual for making lemongrass decoction and how to consume it. Results: In the intervention group 25% had the postpartum period in the normal category, and 75% in the fast category, while in the control group 100% were in the normal. The Wilcoxon test results show a significant difference between the treatment and control group with a p-value of 0.042. Conclusion: Consuming lemongrass decoction significantly shortened the postpartum period.
