Abstract

Portofolio theory emphasizes the search for the optimal combination of investments that gives the maximum profit rate at a particular level of risk. Portfolios are formed by investors in general is a portfolio based on the investor preferences. Portfolios are formed based on the preferences of the portfolio is not really optimal. To determine the composition of shares that must be invested in order to generate optimal portfolios with constraints is by way of optimization techniques.In investing, the investor’s expectation is to obtain a return that is as large as possible or at least greater than the interest rate of deposits. In reducing investment risk, the better investment is done not only in one area. The expectation is if the loss of investment in a field then the loss is expected to be reduced or eliminated from investment in other areas (diversification). When diversifying, investors usually confuse in selecting and determining the proportion of investment he has to do (Optimal). Therefore, investors need to have a grip in diversification so that investor expectations can be fulfilled. One of them is by diversifying with quadratic programming method. Quadratic programming processes conducted based on Markowitz’s model approach using LINGO. The results of this research in the form of investment proportions on some stocks. The research method used is a descriptive and verification method with techniques aimed at sampling such as sampling. The description of the calculations in this study uses secondary data with a sample of historical data shares included in the LQ45 index list during the period February 2004 to July 2009. The data is then processed using the quadratic programming methodThe results showed that the optimal diversification by using the quadratic programming method will be achieved when the investment made in the shares of Indosat Tbk (ISAT) of 13,2%, Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) of 4,12%, Bank Central Asia Tbk(BBCA) of 37,55%, Astra International Tbk (ASII) of 4,11%, Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk (ANTM) of 0,91%, Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) of 5,73%, Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) of 31,9% and shares of Holcim Indonesia Tbk (SMCB) of 2,45%. Risks arising from the limitations of existing investments and amounted to 0,14%.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the factors influencing accounting students' intention to pursue a career in Islamic banking, by using a structural equation model. The study combines the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the religiosity concept to examine the effects of soft skills self-efficacy, technical skills self-efficacy, social influence, job market consideration, and Islamic religiosity on accounting students' intention to pursue a career in Islamic banking. Data were collected through a survey of 264 accounting students at Universitas Garut. The results show that soft skills self-efficacy, social influence, and Islamic religiosity have a significant positive impact on student's intention to pursue a career in Islamic banking. However, technical skills self-efficacy, and job market consideration do not significantly influence students' intentions. These findings provide insight for Islamic banks on how to attract potential employees to pursue a career in Islamic banking. The study contributes to the literature by incorporating Islamic religiosity in the TPB model to explain accounting students' career intentions in Islamic banking, which is particularly relevant in the context of Indonesia, a predominantly Muslim country.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis berapa besar pengaruh variabel Koordinasi dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PDAM Tirta Intan Kabupaten Garut. Jenis penelitian ini, yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan data kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menggambarkan secara tepat hal-hal yang sedang dihadapi serta menarik kesimpulan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data  sekunder, teknik pengambilan sampel probability sampling menggunakan Stratifikasi Sampel dengan hasil responden sebanyak 81 orang karyawan di PDAM Tirta Intan Kabupaten Garut. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil pengolahan data dan pengambilan hipotesis dapat disimpulkan secara deskriptif bahwa koordinasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan berkategori kurang baik, artinya koordinasi dan lingkungan kerja lebih ditingkatkan dan diperhatikan maka kinerja karyawan akan baik dan meningkat. Sedangkan secara kuantitatif terdapat pengaruh signifikan koordinasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PDAM Tirta Intan Kabupaten Garut.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) Untuk mengetahui posisi brand awareness akan keberadaan merek Kopilogi. (2) Untuk mengetahui brand association Kopilogi yang tertanam di benak konsumen (3) Untuk mengetahui perceived quality tentang kualitas merek Kopilogi. (4) Untuk mengetahui brand loyalty merek Kopilogi di benak konsumen. (5) Untuk mengetahui posisi ekuitas merek Kopilogi di benak konsumen Kopilogi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu pecinta kopi yang sedang dan pernah membeli produk dari coffee shop Kopilogi. Teknik Sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini teknik Non Probability Sampling dengan teknik penarikan Sampel menggunakan sampling insidental adapun sampel yang ditetapkan yaitu sebanyak 130 responden. Metode pengolahan dan analisis data yaitu dengan Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas, Analisis Statistik Deskriptif, Skala Likert, Rataan dan uji Cochran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ekuitas merek Kopilogi belum kuat, hal ini berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang menunjukan brand awareness sudah menempati posisi pertama dari top of mind. analisis brand asociation hanya 4 dari 10 atribut yang diberikan menjadi pembentuk merek Kopilogi. Hasil analisis perceived quality menunjukkan hasil skala puas (3,69) dengan rentang skala baik (3,41-4,20). Hasil analisis brand loyalty menunjukkan konsumen belum kuat dimana berdasarkan hasil perhitungan commited buyer 40% konsumen adalah konsumen setia berada pada skala cukup (3,35) dengan rentang skala cukup (2,61-3,40). Hasil analisis ini memberikan tantangan bagi pihak manajemen coffee shop untuk semakin berbenah supaya menjadi lebih baik sehingga menjadi tujuan utama konsumen dan menjadi pemimpin pasar dalam dunia persaingan coffee shop.

Abstract

Metode yang dilakukan yaitu melalui menggambarkan hasil dari penelitian yaitu menggunakan metode deskriptif dan asosiatif. Populasinya yaitu konsumen yang datang ke Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta Bandung. Teknik yang dilakukan adalah dengan menentukan ciri-ciri khusus dari responden. Dapat terlihat bahwa variabel Penetapan Harga di Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta dinilai baik oleh responden dengan skor 357 dengan persentase 74%. Penetapan Harga pada Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta di rasa telah cukup baik bagi responden yang pernah berkunjung pada Auto 2000 soekarno hatta, meskipun ada penilaian yang rendah dari para responden, namun secara keseluruhan konsep dari penetapan harga Auto 2000 soekarno hatta sudah cukup mendapatkan perhatian dari responden yang merupakan pengunjung atau konsumen dari Auto 2000 soekarno hatta. Adapun Dimensi dengan skor terbesar yaitu dimensi Penetapan Harga Terdiferensiasi, dan dimensi dengan skor terkecil yaitu Penetapan Harga Geografis. Meskipun demikian Dimensi tersebut masih berada pada rentang penilaian baik. Bahwa variabel Personal selling di Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta dinilai baik oleh responden dengan jumlah nilai skor 363. Namun dimensi Presentasi dan demonstrasi dan Mengatasi keberatan mendapat nilai yang persentase yang terkecil dengan yang dimensi yang lain. Tentunya hal ini berarti diperlukan perbaikan terkait dua dimensi tersebut. Sementara dimensi dengan skor terbaik ada pada dimensi Penutupan. Bahwa variabel Keputusan Pembelian responden untuk Dealer Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta telah baik. Namun untuk dimensi Pemilihan Saluran dan Jumlah Pembelian perlu mendapatkan perhatian, karena penilaian konsumen terhadap seluruh persediaan produk dapat terlihat pada variabel ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui (1) Untuk menganalisis gap antara harapan (expected) dan kinerja pelayanan yang dirasakan (perceived) tiap atribut kualitas yang ada pada PT Telkom Kandatel Garut, (2) Untuk mengetahui gambaran dan mengukur kualitas pelayanan PT Telkom Kandatel Garut dilihat dari persepsi konsumen dan (3) Untuk memetakan atribut-atribut kualitas pelayanan berdasarkan persepsi konsumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Analisis Service Quality (SERVQUAL) dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pelanggan PT Telkom Kandatel Garut. Teknik Sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini teknik Non Probability Sampling dengan teknik penarikan Sampel menggunakan Slovin adapun sampel yang ditetapkan yaitu sebanyak 100 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan terdapat Kesenjangan (Gap) antar nilai Kinerja (Perceived) dengan Harapan Konsumen (Expected) sebesar -0,24, sehingga karena nilai Gap tidak terlalu besar maka dapat diduga bahwa kualitas pelayanan PT Telkom Kandatel Garut menurut persepsi Konsumen cukup baik. Berdasarkan hasil pemetaan atribut dengan menggunakan diagram kartesius diketahui bahwa terdapat 1 atribut pada kuadran A ( Prioritas Utama), 13 atribut pada kuadran B (Pertahankan Prestasi), 12 Atribut pada kuadran C (Prioritas Rendah) dan 4 Atribut terdapat pada Kuadran D (Berlebihan).

Abstract

Finance has a very important role in supporting the sustainability of a university's activities. In the current condition at the University of Bandung Raya, the number of students has decreased which will affect their income level. What is done by the university is to find as many students as possible in each available study program. Based on the results of the study, it shows that this results in a higher level of financial expenditure than income due to the small number of students who are spread across 4 existing study programs. Based on the results of the calculation, it is found that if the university will benefit based on the existing conditions, namely by only focusing on 1 undergraduate study program with a total of 150 students.

Abstract

Productivity is an important aspect because it will affect the sustainability of an organization/company, as well as PT. X. Based on the results of data collection, it is seen that there is a decrease in production productivity shown by the amount of production that is below the target. The purpose of this research is to analyze the causes of the decline in productivity. This study uses quantitative and descriptive methods in measuring the dimensions of employee productivity where the research data used is population data which is all employees in the production section. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the decrease in productivity is caused by the poor attitude and behavior of employees at work. This is indicated by the presence of other movements in addition to the core movement in making products such as using a mobile phone, chatting, etc. at work. Although the majority of the dimensions can be said to be good but with the lack of good attitudes and behavior of employees, it has a very large influence on the productivity of the company.

Abstract

An organization/company cannot be separated from decision-making. Intuitive decision-making is highly discouraged if it is not from a reliable source because the level of deviation that occurs can be very large. Therefore, we need a reliable basis for making a decision. The D'Amerta Berniaga business group does not use online media to carry out its business. This has resulted in the underdevelopment of the business being carried out, given the increasingly fierce business competition at this time. However, the decision to use online media is very difficult considering that business owners are housewives and sole implementers in their businesses. This resulted in an increase in workload and a very large amount of time to use online media, causing doubts about the decisions to be taken. Therefore, training on the use of online media was carried out in an effort to overcome this problem. The existence of training makes business owners interested in using online media. The business owner's decision to use online media needs to be evaluated to determine the accuracy of the decisions taken. This study aims to see whether the decisions taken by business owners, namely using online media, are appropriate and able to contribute to their business. The method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Measurements were made based on the total population of 30 respondents by pretest-posttest. Based on the test results with the paired t-test, it can be seen that the decisions taken, namely using online media, have a significant influence on existing businesses.

Abstract

Currently, business transactions and communication with customers are carried out through various forms of digital platforms, one of which is using the WhatsApp application on smartphones. This research aims to determine the influence of normative social and brand awareness on the intensity of E-WOM in the WhatsApp Group PKK Mekar Arum - Bojongsoang Group application. This study uses a descriptive statistical approach of Multiple Linear Regression with a research sample of 55 people, each of whom represents one head of family and is a member of the WhatsApp Group under study. The data collection technique was carried out online using the Google Form application and processed with Microsfot Excell 2013 software. This research succeeded in proving that the influence of social norm attachment and brand awareness together had a significant influence on E-WOM intensity of 42.89% while 57.11% are other factors not examined in this study. This means that the PKK Mekar Arum – Bojongsoang Group uses E-WOM on the WhatsApp application mostly to improve communication and interaction between group members. Meanwhile, the intensity of using E-WOM is more aimed at introducing and building brand awareness of the products of PKK Group members and not in an effort to increase sales turnover from products promoted via the WhatsApp group..
