Abstract

Abstrak. Persaingan industri menuntut perusahaan menghasilkan produk berkualitas tinggi, tetapi fenomenanya perusahaan masih menghasilkan produk yang tidak sesuai spesifikasi sehingga dikembalikan oleh pelanggan. Hal ini menjadi dasar dilakukannya penelitian yang bertujuan menganalisis pelaksanaan quality control, mengetahui defect utama produk, dan melakukan improvement agar dapat mengurangi atau menghilangkan permasalahan selama proses produksi menggunakan pendekatan Six Sigma dengan langkah: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve dan Control. Sampel penelitian adalah hasil pemeriksaan produk akhir pada bulan April – September 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Quality control sudah dilakukan tetapi belum maksimal, dengan akar masalah penyebab defect utama adalah method, material, dan machine. CTO pada penelitain ini yaitu: kontaminasi benda asing, pengemas bocor, temperature produk melebihi standar, over drip dan lemak tebal. Setelah dilakukan improve, terjadi kenaikan level sigma dari 3,48 (baseline kinerja) menjadi 3,83. Kontrol dilakukan untuk menjaga konsistensi dari tindakan perbaikan dengan cara briefing rutin kepada operator, meningkatkan training GMP, 5S, dan product knowledge, membakukan perubahan SOP, menambah tools yang diperlukan dan melakukan kontrol pelaksanaan preventive maintenance.Kata kunci: Quality control, six sigma, wagyu, defect produk, DMAIC.Abstract. The industrial competition requires companies to produce high-quality products, but the phenomenon is that companies still produce products that do not meet specifications and are returned by customers. This is the basis for conducting research aimed at analyzing the implementation of quality control, knowing the main defects of the product, and making improvements to reduce or eliminate problems during the production process using the Six Sigma approach with steps: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. The research sample is the result of the final product inspection in April - September 2019. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Quality control has been carried out but not maximally, with the root causes of the main defects being method, material, and machine. CTO in this research are: foreign body contamination, leak packaging, product temperature exceeds the standard, over drip, and thick fat. After improving, there was an increase in sigma level from 3.48 (performance baseline) to 3.83. Control is carried out to maintain consistency of corrective actions by regular briefings to operators, increasing GMP training, 5S, and product knowledge, standardizing SOP changes, adding necessary tools, and controlling preventive maintenance implementation.Keywords: Quality control, six sigma, wagyu, defect product, DMAIC.

Abstract

Spare parts support is essential for rolling stock maintenance management. The current supplier selection model determines the selected supplier based on evaluating one aspect of the criteria (product aspect). The selection of suppliers with poor performance occurred between 2018-2020 related to the delivery of goods that exceeded the deadline and goods that did not meet specifications. The first objective of this research is to analyze and determine the relevant priority criteria for selecting suppliers of rolling stock spare parts for railway companies. The second objective is to determine the rolling stock spare parts supplier by using the evaluation criteria determined in the previous process. The method used in this research is the integration of the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Technique for Others Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions (TOPSIS). FDM is used to select important criteria for the selection of suppliers of rolling stock parts. AHP is used to assist in choosing various criteria through evaluation in determining the criteria's weight. TOPSIS is used to assess supplier ratings. A total of 13 criteria from 19 alternative criteria have been selected for railway companies, especially in selecting rolling stock spare parts suppliers. Furthermore, the selection becomes the basis for bidding. Finally, Supplier A is the supplier with the highest relative closeness value (0.591), followed by Supplier B (0.545), and the lowest is Supplier C (0.282).

Abstract

Kabupaten Banjarnegara merupakan salah satu kabupaten di provinsi Jawa Tengah memiliki komoditi Batik Gumelem yang menjadi salah satu komoditi unggulan. Pada data awal diketahui bahwa Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) Batik Gumelem yang berlokasi di wilayah Kec. Susukan Kab. Banjarnegara memiliki permasalahan yang menggambarkan proses bisnis dari industri ini belum mampu mendukung pencapaian tujuan industri. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan aktifitas proses bisnis yang terjadi dalam IKM batik Gumelem Banjarnegara dengan pendekatan value chain dan Melakukan Perbaikan pada proses bisnis (Business Process Improvement) IKM Batik Gumelem. Hasil dari penelitian adalah diperlukannya rencana pelaksanaan (action plan) dalam memperbaiki proses bisnis batik Gumelem diantaranya adalah perlunya duduk bersama pengusaha, pemerintah dan stakeholder terkait. Perlunya pelatihan kepada pengusaha batik tentang pemasaran, keuangan dan administrasi disamping pelatihan kepada pembatik dalam meningkatkan kualitas hasil batik. Perlunya memperbaiki mekanisme pemasaran, penjualan dan standar pelayanan kepada konsumen. Bantuan infrastruktur yang dibutuhkan seperti toko/galeri atau bahkan toko online dilengkapi dengan peralatan dengan teknologi modern sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjadikan batik Gumelem sebagai komoditi unggulan Banjarnegara menjadi lebih baik dimasa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Order picking is a process to fulfill customer order, with fast timing and provide high customer satisfaction. The order picking process is the highest cost in both manual and automatic systems, so it is necessary to improve efficiency and productivity. This study is aims to improve the productivity of order picking by shortening the distance. By choosing heuristic method using the application of interactive warehouse program, it is found that heuristic routing method can shorten picking distance. So, the routing heuristic method can increase the productivity of picking orders.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the product quality problem experienced by one of dry SLS manufacturing company in Indonesia. The high number of non conforming product during the past year makes the sales target to be unachievable and caused the loss due to many rework process. Tools are used in this research is to apply the seven tools approach. Flowchart, Pareto chart, and histogram are used to calculate and determine the problem to be fixed. Collection of improvement idea is done by brainstorming and improvement analysis is done by using Fishbone diagram. The results of the improvements made good results are marked by decreasing the number and percentage of non conforming product more than 50 percent of the amount of non conforming product on the previous condition prior to the improvement.

Abstract

Abstract. The waste management in Bantargebang has been planned for 15 yearsand should be improved in order to meet the needs of the stakeholders. The studyis done to find the right method to be used for integrating the waste managementin Bantargebang site. The method is a review of previous studies related toimprovement in waste management and business processes. The result suggeststhat the mapping of the process needs to be done on the waste managementsystem and using the Model-Based Integrated Process Improvement (MIPI) whichdeveloped by Adesola et al. Abstract

Ketidakseimbangan dalam pembagian beban kerja dengan adanya waktu tugas stasiun kerja yang menjadi bottleneck  dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya peningkatan balance delay yang merugikan perusahaan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah membuat keseimbangan lintasan untuk menciptakan proses produksi pump packaging systems yang efisien, dengan adanya perbaikan cycle time yang lebih singkat, peningkatan efisiensi lintasan produksi, mengurangi kerugian keseimbangan, meminimasi idle time dan  peningkatan kapasitas produksi.  Metodologi yang digunakan untuk memecahkan permasalahan adalah line balancing   dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode Ranked Position Weight dan Heuristic Moodie-Young yang dilakukan dengan membuat pengaturan keadaan lintasan produksi untuk menciptakan pembagian beban kerja yang seimbang, sehingga setiap work station diharapkan mempunyai waktu tugas yang sama. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT. Bumi Cahaya Unggul sebuah perusahaan penyedia pompa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tingkat efisiensi proses produksi perusahaan masih belum optimal, ditandai dengan terjadinya ketidakseimbangan pembagian beban kerja akibat dari waktu tugas stasiun kerja yang menjadi  bottle neck.  Melalui penerapan metode  line balancing,  Ranked Position Weight dan Heuristic Moodie-Young  dapat memberikan hasil yang signifikan yaitu peningkatan efisiensi lintasan produksi dan  peningkatan kapasitas produksi.   Kata kunci : Line Balancing, Ranked Position Weight, Heuristic Moodie-Young, Cycle Time, Idle Time.

Abstract

Total Sulfur Analyzer (TS Analyzer) is one of the machines in the laboratory to test the total sulfur content contained in coal samples. Technically, specifications and use are regulated by international standards. In 2020, the downtime of these tools was very high, causing the productivity of surveyors to decrease. Low productivity will have an impact on the company's losses. The productivity of this equipment and machines is crucial to maintaining the company's success in its business processes. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the operational performance of the TS Analyzer machine in the laboratory, analyze the causative factors and make improvements. This research uses the integration method of Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Based on the analysis of the causes of the problem, the low OEE value is caused by the high breakdown loss. Based on the FMEA analysis, it was found that the operator was wrong in operating the machine with RPN 343, electrical instability with RPN 343, unstable temperature with RPN 343 and improper thermocouple installation. The results showed that the OEE value of the TS Analyzer machine has increased after the improvement.

Abstract

Bank BJB continues to improve service quality by developing and strengthening banking services to customers. The current problems faced by Bank BJB are delays in service processes where the actual processing time exceeds the Service Level Agreement (SLA). The delay in the process is a non-value-added activity which is called waste. Aim This research aims to identify critical business processes of banking services that cause waste and improve using the Business Process Improvement method in the BJB Regional Treasury Branch. The research used the match method, data collection were obtained observation, interviews, and brainstorming with top management and users. Improvement using BPI was able to reduce the waiting time (queue) as waste and reduce lead time. The results of this study show the need for improvements to the tasks and functions of some parts such as Operational Service Officer, and Credit Officer so that more editions and no waste of time. So that the quality of service and customer satisfaction is achieved

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Current Ratio (CR), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Price Book Value (PBV) of the Stock Return on sub sector of tourism, hotels and restaurant listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange since 2012-2016. Research use secondary data and purposive sampling method. Data processing was performed using EVIEWS version 9 with fixed effect methode obtained based on Chow test and Hausman test. The results based on t-test showed that variable CR has negative insignificant effect on Stock Return, PER has negative significant effect on Stock Return, NPM has positive insignificant effect on Stock Return and PBV has positive significant effect on Stock Return. Based on coefficient determination as much 46% of variation variable stock returns can be explained by CR, PER, NPM, PBV while 54% on Stock Return variable variation explained by other factors. Keywords: Stock Return, Financial Ratio Aspects, Current Ratio, Price Earning Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Price Book Value
