Abstract

Abstract—Device monitoring is an important thing to manage networks. Information related network state or condition can be gathered through the device monitoring for administrators to make decisions regarding occurred events. Logs can be useful information to monitor network devices. Network administrator of Diponegoro University need a centralized log management system that can receive, manage, and analyze logs. This research identify functional requirements of log management system. Topology design and software that will be used by the log management system use DSR method. The next step is implementation of the topology, software, and application. The last step is testing the system and log management application. The results show that collecting centralized logs and processing these logs into information in the form of dashboards using ELK Stack application successfully implemented. The dashboard resulted by ELK Stack Application will be implemented on the web application using PHP programming language and Codeigniter framework. The test results show that system can receive logs and group the log according to the device location and the severity level of the log.

Abstract

ABSTRACT –A standalone server is a server that runs applications and databases on the same computer or server. As a service provider, the technology on the server is required to continue to develop in line with the needs. Therefore, a server clustering architecture was developed to serve the needs of clients on a larger scale. One solution to this problem is by implementing the RAC (Real Application Clustering) technology provided by Oracle 11gR2. RAC technology can fulfill client needs by using Round Robin DNS (Domain Name Server) algorithm. Then, this technology can help add new servers and recently assigned servers as cluster members. Also, RAC has advantages of memory storage for database storage. Based on the results of tests that have been done, server clustering has better quality according to a standalone server. Testing is done using QOS (Quality of Service) testing which is carried out on the network and also on load tests using TPM (Transaction per Minute) which is carried out on the database.

Abstract

Website services have become especially important thing and are the primary need of everyone’s information needs. This High information needs require website services to be reliable so that it doesn’t disrupt it’s user. Problems often happened in the website services when the infrastructure supporting it was having system failure, such as power shortage, natural disaster, hardware failure, and internet network problem etc. To increase website services’ system reliability and optimal service, infrastructure system that support server cluster schema is needed. The objective of infrastructure system that support server cluster schema is to increase website services’ system reliability and minimize downtime. Server cluster allow website services to look undisturbed on the user’s view even though there are some problems happening in the main server such as power shortage, because the website services is being serve by backup server using failover function. Infrastructure’s requirement for implementation of cluster server system at least needs to be double from the main system used, so that when the main system had hardware or software problems the backup system can serve website services just as good as the main system. It is hoped that website services will always available and the services is undisturbed even though there are problems in the infrastructure.

Abstract

The use of information technology these days are very high. From business through education activities tend to use this technology most of the time. Information technology uses computer networks for integration and management data. To avoid business problems, the number of network devices installed requires a manageable network configuration for easier maintenance. Traditionally, each of network devices has to be manually configured by network administrators. This process takes time and inefficient. Network automation methods exist to overcome the repetitive process. Design model uses a web-based application for maintenance and automates networking tasks. In this research, the network automation system implemented and built a controller application that used REST API (Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interface) architecture and built by Django framework with Python programming language. The design modeled namely As-RaD System. The network devices used in this research are Cisco CSR1000V because it supports REST API communication to manage its network configuration and could be placed on the server either. The As-RaD System provides 75% faster performance than Paramiko and 92% than NAPALM.

Abstract

An official travel assignment letter is a type of assignment letter needed by an employee in carrying out work assignments. In many ways, the assignment letter information system is built based on web-programming. In web-programming there are two methods to send data from client to server. The two methods are the POST method and the GET method. Information security is an important aspect that needs to be considered in design a information system. There are many attacker spying data on information system daily. Usually the attacker uses the loopholes in the data transmission method to attack the system. There are many techniques used to attack information systems likes WAVs (Web Application Security Scanners). WAVs is a program that is used to find security holes in web-based information systems using several methods, such as XSS, SQL Injection, Intercept and Bruteforce. One program that can be used is Burp Suite. Burp Suite is often used by security auditors, researchers, and testers for analysis of different systems. Burp's core functionality is to intercept and display HTTP requests in a structured manner. The Vocational School of Diponegoro University has developed an information system that is used to manage this assignment letter. The information system is design using a web-based application. However, the system has never been technically audited on its security level. Therefore, it is necessary to audit the information system security techniques so that the level of information system security can be ascertained and corrective steps can be taken if there are security holes found. This study is intended to conduct a technical audit of the security of the UNDIP Vocational School assignment letter information system. The audit was conducted using the WAVs (Web Application Security Scanners) method with the Burp Suite application. The results of the brutefoce test using Burpsuite showed that there was no suitable password. However, the fact that an attacker can attack 30,0006 times is a weakness that needs to be fixed.

Abstract

One of the information system built in Diponegoro University is Academic Information System. This system manages every process and outcome of academic activities. Academic information system is developed to meet the needs of process and academic data that is also always growing. One of growing academic process is the implementation of Credit Transfer System (CTS). Credit Transfer System is an academic process whereby every Diponegoro University student can attend lectures in subjects that are interested without being tied to courses and curriculum. The realization is that every student can take a course or KRS interest in any study program in Undip. With the implementation of the CTS, the Academic Information System should be developed by adding new features to adopt the system. Abstract

Pada era digital ini, banyak aktivitas kampus yang dimudahkan dengan kecanggihan teknologi dan internet. Namun, masih terdapat proses kerja yang dilakukan secara manual, salah satunya adalah perizinan surat. Di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Diponegoro, proses pembuatan dan perizinan surat tugas yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan staf ke Ketua Departemen, Supervisor maupun Wakil Dekan masih dilakukan secara manual. Selain itu, proses penomoran untuk surat-surat yang telah di buat juga masih dilakukan secara manual oleh Petugas Penomoran. Hal tersebut masih memiliki beberapa kekurangan seperti kurangnya efisiensi dalam pengerjaan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sebuah sistem informasi yang diharapkan dapat mendukung proses operasional admin, dosen, staf, Ketua Departemen, Supervisor, Wakil Dekan, dan Petugas penomoran dalam proses pembuatan, perizinan, dan pemberian nomor pada surat tugas. Sistem Informasi Surat Tugas ini dibuat dan dikembangkan menggunakan metode pengembangan Waterfall. Selain itu, sistem ini dibuat menggunakan kerangka kerja Laravel untuk mempermudah proses pembuatan web. Sistem ini dibuat dan dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Pengujian sistem ini dilakukan menggunakan metode black box, yang bertujuan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya kesalahan kinerja pada sistem, sehingga pengguna dapat menggunakan sistem informasi ini dengan baik
