Abstract

This research raises YouTube as the most popular media by the people in Indonesia. In the era of technology and communication, hadith as a study can not only be witnessed in offline public spaces, but also online. As was the case regarding the hadiths regarding musical instruments that were contested via YouTube, between UAH and Gus Baha. This development has brought changes to the study of hadith, based on the explanation given by UAH and Gus Baha, there are positive and negative perceptions felt by the Indonesian people, based on a review of the comments contained in the YouTube channel in question. Actually, this kind of issue has been discussed by previous scholars. Various media exist, it is not uncommon for religious studies to be spread along with their respective interests. This situation also affects the development of other religious issues, including the study of hadith.

Abstract

Pesantren as the oldest Islamic educational institution in the archipelago is a place for the regeneration of ulama carried out by propagators of Islam to the indigenous population. Pesantren from its inception until now has been able to survive even though in its long journey it has faced many dynamics of changing times. The Pesantren  Al-Fatah Lahat is an Islamic boarding school located in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra Province, founded by Kyai H. Ramlan Fauzi bin H. Hasanuddin bin H. Husein bin Delames bin Reseh bin Rijal Penghulu bin Magdum on December 6, 2007 M., to coincide with the 26th Dzul-qa'dah 1428 H. This article is the first article to examine the development and teaching of the Pesantren Al-Fatah Lahat, which is a historical analysis from 2007 to 2015. This pesantren is located in the middle of a heterogeneous urban community life and is a pesantren with a comprehensive typology that combines traditional and modern teaching systems. The method used in this research is the historical method. At first (2007) Pesantren Al-Fatah Lahat prioritized the Qur’an with all aspects of its knowledge. Then established a formal education level MTs. The development of Al-Fatah in 2011 began to be recognized by MTs Al-Fatah around the Lahat district over time until 2015 this pesantren was not only students from the Lahat area, there were also from various areas outside the Lahat district.

Abstract

Abstract This article tries to dissect the direction of the development and application of religious moderation values in the Polytechnic. Conceptually, religious moderation is a process of believing in, understanding and practicing balanced religious teachings in the life of the nation and state. This research is a qualitative research, in which data from field studies were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Field research was carried out at the Bandung Polytechnic (Polban) and the Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ). The results of the study show that the direction of developing religious moderation in the Polytechnic prioritizes the cultivation of the value of tolerance which is entrusted to all Religious Education courses. The inculcation of the value of religious moderation is carried out through the delivery of material about tolerance in the views of religions in Indonesia and the implementation of joint activities in the form of inter-religious harmony projects. Abstrak Artikel ini mencoba membedah arah pengembangan dan penerapan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di Politeknik. Moderasi Beragama secara konsep merupakan sebuah proses meyakini, memahami dan mengamalkan ajaran agama yang berimbang dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, di mana data hasil studi lapangan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian lapangan dilaksanakan di Politeknik Bandung (Polban) dan Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa arah pengembangan moderasi beragama di Politeknik mengedepankan pada penanaman nilai toleransi yang dititipkan pada semua mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama. Penanaman nilai moderasi beragama ini dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi tentang toleransi dalam pandangan agama-agama di Indonesia dan pelaksanaan kegiatan bersama dalam bentuk projek kerukunan antar umat beragama.
