The focus of this article is on the theme of fostering the faith of young Catholics in the face of identity crisis. The purpose of this study is to find out the answer to the question: what is the situation and dynamics of young people? What is an identity crisis and its accompanying consequences? How important and urgent is the fostering of faith in young Catholics facing the brink of an identity crisis? The results suggest that young people are in a transition to adulthood. They begin to think of abstract things and let go of childhood thinking. Restraints and prohibitions will make them inauthentic personalities. An identity crisis is a phase in which a person experiences confusion to determine one's identity. The consequences that occur when a person experiences an identity crisis are depression, delinquency and drug abuse. Young people desperately need the support of authoritative adults. A young person's companion must be a person who is in love with young people, mobilizer and persuasive. A good shepherd figure is a longing for them to get edification and injections of spirit, as well as bring positive energy. The study of this theme uses theological discourses and positive sciences. The method used is critical analysis and reading from various sources such as Church documents and sources from other positive science. The findings in this study are the usefulness of the development and mentoring of faith in young Catholics in the face of the dangers of identity crisis

Tema dari karya ilmiah ini mengenai Tindakan Ekologis Gereja Katolik di Indonesia dari Perspektif Moral Lingkungan Hidup William Chang. Pembicaraan mengenai ekologi selalu menjadi topik yang sangat menarik untuk dibahas, karena terdapat begitu banyak persoalan-persoalan yang dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia. Persoalan-persoalan itu tentunya sangat relevan dengan situasi Indonesia saat ini. Di mana banyak terjadi krisis lingkungan hidup yang memberi dampak yang sangat signifikan terhadap kehidupan manusia, misalnya terjadi bencana tanah longsor dan banjir besar yang melanda sejumlah daerah di Indonesia. Dalam perspektif moral lingkungan hidup Pastor William Chang, permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi tentu tidak lepas dari keterkaitannya dengan manusia. Manusia berperan sebagai pelaku aktif terhadap krisis lingkungan hidup. Artinya bahwa di satu sisi manusia dapat menjadi penyebab terjadinya krisis lingkungan hidup tersebut, namun di sisi lain pula menjadi penggerak untuk melindungi dan melestarikan keutuhan alam ciptaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah ini ialah metode kualitatif kepustakaan. Penulis mengembangkan pemikiran-pemikiran dari salah satu tokoh Gereja Katolik dengan merujuk pula pada pemikiran-pemikiran dari tokoh yang lainnya untuk mempertegas setiap pemikiran dari tokoh yang diambil.

The focus of this study is on theological reflection on the myth of Plai Long Diang Yung which is contained in the culture of the Dayak Wehea people. This myth has a special and central place in the life of the local people and is the origin of the Lom Plai celebration which is the culmination of all traditional celebrations and rituals. This myth has an important meaning in people's lives and talks about many things related to human existence, nature and God. With this fact, the myth can become a locus theologic that can enrich the reflection of the Church's faith and root the faith in culture and culture in the light of faith. The method used in this paper is based on the results of critical reading of the mythical text of Plai Long Diang Yung and the Christian Tradition text. This study found that the myth of Plai Long Diang Yung contained a very rich theological meaning which spoke of Christ, salvation and God who is not limited to human sexuality.

The discussion of the Church's Hope on Eternal Life is a very interesting topic to explore during this pandemic situation which has taken many lives every second. This theme is very close to human life. The problem to be discussed into this research is, to begin with about how Catholics are in their faith relationship. Furthermore, is about how Christians embrace the COVID-19 pandemic situation and involves other people around them doing the same. For eternal life which has been for them since baptism is not a promise in vain. It takes effort and cares to grow it all. These problems were discussed using qualitative research methods with respondents who came from various backgrounds of age, occupation, place of residence, and status of their involvement in church life. The finding of this study is that Catholics manifest their faith by doing positive activities that involve others such as sharing positive experiences, struggles, and strengthening spiritual life. In addition, to embrace this pandemic, Catholics raise awareness of Christian solidarity, because for a member of the Church, faith must not be individualistic. To sum up, Spe Salvi's encyclical helps people open and lift themselves from the trap of despair and stand firm of their faith. Thus contemplation of actions and contemplated actions becomes a powerful weapon to spread Catholicism during this pandemic.

Tulisan ini hendak menerangkan Ordo Karmel sebagai ordo kontemplatif. Para karmelit di gunung Karmel memiliki formula vitae yang dipakai untuk mengatur kehidupan mereka. Formula vitae inilah yang kemudian menjadi penuntun awal Ordo Karmel menjadi sebuah ordo religius dan kontemplatif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka, tulisan ini mempertegas betapa pentingnya kontemplasi bagi karmelit dan umat Kristiani yang ingin menghidupinya. Kontemplasi merupakan jantung bagi kehidupan para karmelit. Dalam kontemplasi inilah para karmelit menjalin relasi dan kedekatan dengan Tuhan baik dengan cara mendengarkan Tuhan berbicara (lectio divina) dan berbicara dengan Tuhan (doa).
