Abstract

This study aims to determine verbal linguistic intelligence, to determine the results learning English especially on students' speaking, and to find out the influence of verbal linguistic intelligence on learning outcomes in English students of class X IPA 1 of SMAN 1 Sidrap. This research is quantitative research; this type of research is a pre-experimental design research. The population in this study was all students of class X SMAN 1 Sidrap, amounting to 182 people, while the study sample was the entire population, namely students of class X IPA 1 SMAN 1 Sidrap, amounting to 32 people. The instruments used in this study were interviews, questionnaires, treatment and recording tools. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and simple regression test through the application of SPSS. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, verbal linguistic intelligence obtained an average value of 84.94, the lowest value obtained 0, and the highest value 107 and are at a percentage of 56.25% are in the average category. The results of learning English in this case speaking students obtained an average value of 96, the lowest value of 0, and the highest value of 96 and are in the good category with a percentage of 65.625%. The simple regression test results obtained sig <α (0,000 <0.05). This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a positive influence between verbal linguistic intelligence on learning outcomes of students of class X Science 1 of SMAN 1 Sidrap.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the ability of the 10th-grade students at State Senior High School 1 Sidrap to interpret the poem "Bila Kutitipkan" by Ahmad Mustofa Bisri and the factors influencing students' ability to interpret poetry. The sample for this research consists of 30 students. The research was conducted on September 18, 2023, at State Senior High School 1 Sidrap. The data collection method used was group discussions. The data was analyzed using frequency tables. Based on the research results, it was found that 24 students scored above 75, with a percentage of 80%, and 6 students scored below 75, with a percentage of 20%. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that 10th-grade students at State Senior High School 1 Sidrap are capable of interpreting the poem "Bila Kutitipkan" by Gus Mus. There are three factors influencing students' ability to interpret poetry: the frequency of reading poetry, the enjoyment of reading poetry, and the impact of poetry on students' lives. Based on the research results, out of the 30 students at State Senior High School 1 Pancarijang, 22 of them stated that they often and enjoy reading poetry, and poetry has an impact on their lives, while 8 students stated that they neither enjoy nor often read poetry, and poetry does not have an impact on their lives.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe Indonesian spelling errors in news on the online news portal Tribun-Timur.com. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research focuses on spelling errors, namely the use of letters, writing words, and the use of punctuation marks. The data in the research are words or sentences that contain spelling errors. The data source in this research is news on the online news portal Tribun-Timur.com (Tribun Sidrap) January 2023 edition. The data collection techniques used in this research are reading techniques, note-taking techniques and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.From the research results, it was found that there were 1 errors in using capital letters, 9 errors in using italics, 4 errors in writing basic words, 2 errors in writing affix words (prefixes), 4 errors in writing combinations of words, 2 errors in writing combinations of words, 2 errors in writing prepositions. , 3 errors in writing abbreviations and acronyms, 2 errors in writing numbers and numbers, and 12 errors in using commas.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar merupakan sekolah yang memiliki peran yang strategis dan fundamental bagi pembangunan bangsa. Sehingga penyelenggaraan pendidikan di sekolah dasar harus diarahkan dan menunjang secara optimal demi mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Peraturan baru yang mengharuskan syarat pernah melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas bagi guru sebagai syarat naik golongan menjadi sebuah kendala yang cukup berat. Hal tersebut dikarenakan guru SMKN 5 Sidrap tidak terbiasa menulis atau melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Guru harus memenuhi kewajibannya jika ingin naik golongan dan pangkat khususnya dari IV a ke IV b atau dari pangkat Pembina ke Pembina tingkat 1 ke atas. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini ialah menjadikan guru mampu membuat karya tulis ilmiah antara lain PTK agar mampu dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan profesi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru ialah bagaimana mengoptimalkan pembuatan penelitian tindakan kelas guru-guru SMKN 5 Sidrap di dusun Bangun Harjo. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosialisasi. Kegiatan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan latihan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencapai target. Capaian tersebut ialah guru mampu menghasilkan penelitian tindakan kelas yang baik. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat diikuti oleh 25 guru. dari target 30 guru. Sehingga, ketercapaian peserta 83% atau dapat dinilai baik. Simpulan dalam kegiatan ini ialah ketercapaian target materi yang telah direncanakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat dinilai baik

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum was inaugurated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in February 2022. It was determined that there are several things that must be prepared before learning, after that implementing independent curriculum learning, implementing learning differentiation and assessment. This research aims to determine and describe the planning, implementation and evaluation in implementing the Independent Curriculum in Indonesian language subjects at Muhammadiyah Rappang Middle School. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques, namely observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is a qualitative data analysis technique with stages of data reduction analysis, data presentation, and drawing up conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of their curriculum in terms of learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation in Indonesian language subjects at Muhammadiyah Rappang Middle School has been implemented well and sustainably. However, there are still obstacles in every challenge faced by research objects in implementing Indonesian language learning based on an independent curriculum, such as limited teaching facilities, limited infrastructure and internet access for students, difficulties adapting to the different characteristics and dialects of students who are already inherent, limitations a time when learning was project-based, limited experience and references to differentiated learning models, and initial assessment paradigms that were not yet appropriate.
