Abstract

Entrepreneurship course is one of the subjects given to seventh semester cadets majoring in Sea Transportation and Port Management at the College of Shipping. This study aims to determine the implementation as well as an evaluation for further entrepreneurship learning. The evaluation was conducted using the Kirkpatrick evaluation model developed by Mullins which consists of four aspects: satisfaction, learning, behaviour and impact. The method used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative with data analysis in the form of percentages. The sample was taken from 140 cadets who had completed the entrepreneurship course. Data was collected through a questionnaire administered via google form. The results showed that the level 1 evaluation of cadets' satisfaction in learning showed an average score of 71% satisfied learning entrepreneurship and 29% dissatisfied. From the level 2 evaluation, it was obtained that the average cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes had increased. Level 3 evaluation of entrepreneurial behaviour obtained an average increase of 20 points. Level 4 evaluation of the impact of learning obtained 82% of cadets think it is suitable to be continued, and 75% think entrepreneurship learning is effective in making cadets become entrepreneurs, and 72% form cadets to carry out business activities.

Abstract

The sea transportation system plays a very important role in a country's economy. but there are still a number of issues that are of concern to commercial companies such as late delivery of spare parts and ship operations that occur at PT. Sumberbumi Global Niaga. Based on these problems the authors also conducted an analysis to determine whether there is an effect of the late delivery of spare parts to the ship's operations. The author uses quantitative research methods. With a total sample of 12 items. In searching for the calculation results the authors conducted several data analyzes with the results of the correlation test of 0.897 (rxy = 0.897) which proved that a positive correlation exists. And while tcount = 6,812 (6,812> 1,812) and fcount = 17.14 (17.14> 4.96), where if tcount> ttable and fcount> ftabel Linear regression equation is Y = A + bX, then there is a significant relationship between variable late delivery of spare parts against ship operations. Therefore, the results of the study showed that the late delivery of spare parts proved to be significant for ship operations at PT. Sumberbumi Global Niaga. The author also explained several solutions, namely by applying additional spare parts or backup. The goal is as an anticipation if there is a lack of supply of ship parts, so that ship operations are not disrupted if there is a lead time on spare parts.

Abstract

This emphirical study aims to identify the learning innovation improvement strategy through the MBKM program at STIP Jakarta. The literature research technique was used to conduct this study, and information was gathered through literature references, pertinent observations and documentation, interviews with members of the Academic Division, as well as other studies on the MBKM policy. Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), a self-study independent campus project of the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, enables students to explore their talents and interests outside of academic learning. This program is a part of a larger endeavor that has two parts: Merdeka Belajar, which encourages talent and autonomous study and Kampus Merdeka, which offers contextual field experiences to enhance skills and prepare students for the future. According to the study's findings, the MBKM program's implementation at STIP had not been as effective as it could have been because only three out of eight types of off-campus learning—research, internships/work experiences, and humanitarian projects—had been completed, while five more were still being worked on through the management policy process. In order for students to attain the best learning outcomes and to constantly be relevant in terms of attitude, knowledge, and skills, STIP must develop policies and execute innovative learning methods. The Kampus Merdeka is an independent and adaptable organization that promotes a creative learning environment that doesn't restrict and fits the demands of cadets, which in turn has implications for improving the quality of STIP education.

Abstract

Previous research or pertinent studies are essential for a scientific article or research paper. This article reviews the factors influencing students' ability to speak English in the aviation field, focusing on the mastery of speech, vocabulary, and pronunciation. This study is a comprehensive literature review in the domain of English language learning. The objective of this article is to construct a hypothesis regarding the inter-variable influence for conducting further research. The findings of this literature review indicate that: 1) Students' speaking abilities in Aviation English are significantly influenced by their linguistic mastery, which encompasses grammar, syntax, and overall language structure; 2) Their proficiency in Aviation English is also heavily dependent on their vocabulary, specifically the technical and industry-specific terms used in aviation; and 3) Their pronunciation in Aviation English plays a crucial role in their overall speaking abilities, impacting their clarity, intelligibility, and effective communication in professional aviation settings. This review aims to provide a foundation for future studies to explore these interrelated factors in greater depth.

Abstract

Indonesia as a maritime country where sea transportation plays an important role and strategic position in mobilizing the movement of goods and services, where international trade activities in this case exports and imports use sea transportation. PT. Container Maritime Activities (CMA) Indonesia, based in Jakarta, is an agency shipping company engaged in container shipping, in other words, having its own containers. In economic activity, it cannot be separated from the import process, because imports are a reflection of a country's economic sovereignty, whether goods and services made in the country are still the masters in their own country. A country imports because it experiences a deficiency (lack/failure) in carrying out the production of goods and services for the consumption needs of its population. In this case the Delivery Order (DO) document is required by the importer to remove the goods from the container terminal terminal

Abstract

Presidential Regulation Number 27 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Public Service Obligations for the transportation of goods to and from disadvantaged, remote, outermost, and border regions explains that the sea highway is the implementation of sea freight services from ports to other ports using the mechanism for the implementation of public service obligations for the transportation of goods. The reality for five years shows that the program has not been significant in distributing logistics availability and cutting high logistics costs. The Kompas Research and Development survey found that the sea highway program still needs socialization. The purpose of the research is to find out how the Sea Toll program affects the availability of logistics in disadvantaged, remote, outermost, and border areas (T3P) in Indonesia and to find out how much influence the sea toll program has on logistics availability in the T3P region in Indonesia. A quantitative method approach is used, using primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and literature study with a population of 90 people. The final results are obtained in table 1.660 and a count of 14.322.
