Abstract

Facing the condition of COVID-19, of course, it greatly affects the psychological and mental condition of a person who tends to be more emotional in responding to something because of the stress of the situation and the various demands that must be lived. One example is the Work From Home pattern where it can trigger emotions and affect the mood of employees. The purpose of this study: 1) analyzing emotions significantly affect employee performance, 2) analyzing work mood has a significant effect on employee performance, 3) analyzing work emotions and moods has a significant effect on employee performance. This research was an explanatory research with quantitative approach (positivism). The population of this study was private universities in South Kalimantan education staff with a total sample of 252 respondents and these samples was taken by purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was using Multiple linear regression. The results showed; 1) emotions have a significant effect on employee performance, 2)work mood has a significant impact on employee performance, 3) emotions and work mood have a significant impact on employee performance. The findings in this study that emotions and working mood when managed well will greatly impact employee performance. The existence of work from home policy, employees' emotions and work mood are sometimes disturbed by various activities that change, such as all activities carried out at home and there needs to be conformity with the home environment that tends to be no more conducive than at work.

Abstract

Changes in online learning conditions towards offline learning require readiness to create an atmosphere of togetherness and cohesiveness that is built for the common good. Changes at least provide knowledge and experience for the world of education that the environment is constantly changing. The Islamic University of Kalimantan (UNISKA) Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari as the oldest and largest private university in South Kalimantan needs to pay attention to several factors including the work environment, non-physical environment and social rewards as an effort to improve employee performance.This research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is UNISKA Banjarmasin education staff with a total sample of 52 people, the sampling technique is purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results showed that the physical work environment, nonphysical work environment and social rewards partially and simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance in the UNISKA Banjarmasin environment. The research findings indicate that all physical conditions around the workplace are related to air temperature, lighting and layout. Relationships with leaders and relationships with fellow coworkers as well as relationships with subordinates are well-established/harmonious even though there is no increase in the form of financial impact on improving employee performance

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi mengenai cara mendampingi anak dalam penggunaan gadget sesuai usia di komplek Berangas Permata Indah. Melalui metode pengumpulan data dan evaluasi, pada sosialisasi ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan para orang tua tentang pentingnya peran mereka dalam mengatur penggunaan gadget anak-anak. Selain itu, terlihat adanya perubahan perilaku positif pada para orang tua dalam membatasi waktu penggunaan gadget dan memilih konten yang sesuai dengan usia anak-anak setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini. Dampak positif juga terlihat pada kesehatan dan perkembangan anak-anak, dengan peningkatan tidur, fokus, dan keterlibatan dalam aktivitas di dunia nyata setelah perubahan dalam penggunaan gadget. Keterlibatan komunitas dalam mendukung implementasi praktik-praktik yang disosialisasikan juga menunjukkan adanya dukungan yang kuat dari lingkungan sekitar. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, penelitian ini merekomendasikan kelanjutan kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi secara berkala, kolaborasi dengan lembaga pendidikan dan ahli psikologi anak, forum diskusi rutin antara orang tua, serta keterlibatan anak-anak dalam kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi untuk memastikan pemahaman dan perubahan perilaku yang berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci : Anak-Anak, Edukasi, Orang Tua, Penggunaan Gadget, Sosialisasi
