Abstract

Dysminorrhea is a complaint that often makes young women go to the doctor for consultation and get treatment. Dysminorrhea is pain that causes discomfort in the lower abdominal area that occurs during menstruation, even dysminorrhea can interfere with daily activities, dysminorrhea often occurs in women who are menstruating. When a woman is menstruating, it produces excess prostaglandins which can cause dysminorrhea pain. Dysminorrhea is a disorder that often occurs during menstruation. Although dysminorrhea is not dangerous, it often disrupts activity patterns in women who are menstruating. The prevalence of dysminorrhea shows a high enough frequency. According to WHO, about 16.8-81% of young women experience dysminorrhea. One of the non-pharmacological therapies is to relax the breath in women who experience dysminorrhea to reduce pain. Methods: international literature and national literature searched through electronic media with keywords. Five articles were selected, each of which represented an effectiveness of breath relaxation on the reduction of dysminore pain. Result: there is an effect of breath relaxation on the reduction of dysminore pain in respondents. Discussion: one of the non-pharmacological treatments to reduce dysminore pain is by breathing relaxation techniques. Breath relaxation can relax muscle tension so that it can reduce pain.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension is a degenerative disease. Those aged ?55 years are at risk for suffering from hypertension, previously blood pressure prehypertension before being diagnosed with hypertension occurred between the third and fifth decades. The World Health Organization reports as many as 839 million cases of hypertension, by 2025 this figure is expected to increase to 1.15 billion or around 29% of the world's total population, where female sufferers are more than 30% compared to male hypertension sufferers, namely 29%. One of the non-pharmacological treatments to treat hypertension is consuming cucumber. Methods: International and national literature searched through electronic media with keyword hints. Eight articles were selected, each of which represents an effectiveness of giving cucumber to reduce blood pressure and provides various information. Results: There was an effect of giving cucumber on reducing blood pressure in respondents. Discussion: One alternative that can be used to lower blood pressure is by consuming cucumber. The diuretic effect on cucumber causes the salt content in the blood to decrease. Reduced levels of salt that absorbs or retains water will reduce blood volume so that it can lighten the work of the heart in pumping blood, and eventually blood pressure will decrease. Conclusion: The conclusion based on the analysis that has been done is that cucumber is effective for lowering blood pressure.

Abstract

Exclusive breast milk is the first, main and best food for the baby, which is natural. Breast milk contains various nutrients needed in the process of growth and development of infants (Prasetyono, 2009). Benefits of breast milk is so large as breast milk can reduce the risk of infants suffering from various diseases. If the sick baby will recover faster when breastfed. Breast milk also helps the growth and development of children's intelligence. According to the study, non-breastfed children had an IQ (Intellectual Quotient) lower 7 to 8 points compared with exclusively breast-fed children. Because in breast milk there are nutrients needed for infant brain growth that are absent or very little present in cow's milk, among others: Taurine, Lactose, DHA, AA, Omega-3, and Omega-6 (Nurheti, 2010). Although breastfeeding and breastfeeding are beneficial, but not yet fully implemented, an estimated 85% of mothers in the world do not breast feed optimally.Number of working mothers in RW V Kelipahan Kalipancur District Ngaliyan who have infants under 6 months as many as 9 people. The problem is that when the mother begins to work because the leave is over, they are confused to breastfeed their babies, so they finally choose to feed their baby formula. The solution ofthis problem aims to optimize the willingness and ability of working mothers to be able to provide exclusive breastfeeding. The resulting output is the application of science and technology and the increase in the quantity and quality of exclusive breastfeeding.Implementation of activities with the implementation / transfer of science and technology conducted directly on April 6, 2017 with the target of working mothers in RW V Kelipahan Kalipancur District Ngaliyan.IPTEK transfer form begins with a pre test and ends with a post test, education is delivered with an easy to understand method that gives material about the importance of breast milk and breastfeeding, the difference between breast milk and formula milk, how to milk milk, how to save milk, how to give breast milk, withdemonstrations. All participants tried to milk milk directly at the time with the equipment provided by the applicant to each mother.The level of cadre understanding of pre test and post test increased by 4.45%, the participants were able to milk ASI as taught and could use the existing equipment. The most important part of this activity is that mothers will transfer or teach other breastfeeding mothers, either in this area or in the office.Key Words: Breast milk, mother working and breastfeeding, breastfeeding

Abstract

The number of COVID-19 infection cases was increased day by day worldwide. In 2021, World Health Organization recorded that the cases reached 209,876.613 people. One of the people who were at high risk of being exposed to COVID-19 quickly were pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to determine the psychological problems of pregnant women during COVID-19 period by using a literature review research method. Searches were made on Google Scholar, NCBI, Elsevier and PubMed by using the keywords psychological problems, pregnant women, and COVID-19 and the search criteria in the year of publication 2020. The data search was carried out in English and Indonesian. Of all the articles, 6 articles met the desired criteria. Based on the literature study that had been done, the researchers concluded that the psychological problems of pregnant women during COVID-19 pandemic were increased anxiety and depression.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Anemia pada kehamilan adalah suatu keadaan kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil di bawah 11 g/dl. Anemia sering terjadi akibat defisiensi zat besi, pada ibu hamil terjadi peningkatan zat besi menjadi dua kali lipat akibat peningkatan volume darah tanpa ekspansi volume plasma, cara untuk memenuhi kebutuhan zat besi dengan mengkonsumsi sayuran yang mengandung zat besi. Bayam adalah sumber makanan terdapat senyawa yang diperlukan dalam kadar hemoglobin seperti zat besi dan vitamin B komplek. Angka kejadian anemia saat kehamilan di Indonesia mencapai 63,5%. Ibu hamil masih banyak yang belum mengetahui manfaat bayam terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil. Metode: Literatur dari mancanegara ditelusuri menggunakan sarana media elektronik dengan penuntun kata kunci. Artikel terseleksi berjumlah 8, yang masing-masing mewakili mengenai efektivitas pemberian bayam terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin dan memberikan sebuah informasi yang bervariatif. Hasil: Adanya pengaruh dari bayam hijau atau merah terhadap anemia pada ibu hamil dan dapat peningkatan kadar hemoglobin. Diskusi: Terdapat salah satu langkah nonfarmakologi terhadap penanganan anemia yaitu dengan pemberian bayam untuk dikonsumsi. Bayam juga dapat diolah seperti jus bayam, makanan sayur bayam serta dapat memberikan pengaruh pada peningkatan kadar hemoglobin terhadap ibu hamil dengan anemia. Abstract

Pregnancy in adolescents can cause serious conditions such as physical and psychological conditions. Pregnancy among adolescents in low, middle, and high income countries is a problem that occurs globally. According to Who data (2012). There are around 16 million adolescents aged 15-19 giving birth each year. Meanwhile, in low income countries there are around 14% of pregnancies out of wedlock. Pregnancy is associated with significant risk to women’s mental health, one of which is the psychological condition of the expectant mother. The minimum age for a women to get married should be 21-22 years because she is considered physically and mentally capable. Adolescent who are pregnant less than the productive age of years will have an impact on their mental conditions such as anxiety, stress and depression. This study aims to find out more about the psychological impact on teenage pregnancy with existing studies by reviewing several research articles. The research design used a literature review with sources from computerized systematic search studies (Google Scholar and Pubmed) with the last 10 years recorder from 2014-2023. There were 60 articles obtained and after conducting a proper review of the title, there were 23 with 19 national articles and 4 international articles. The criteria for finding the key to searching the literature review are “mental health” and “adolescent pregnancy”

Abstract

Anemia terjadi ketika konsentrasi hemoglobin berada di bawah 11 g/dL selama kehamilan, dan jika konsentrasi hemoglobin berada di bawah 7 g/dL, maka disebut sebagai anemia berat. Anemia pada kehamilan memiliki potensi fatalitas jika tidak diatasi segera. Dampaknya meliputi risiko keguguran, persalinan prematur, persalinan yang memakan waktu lama, atonia uteri, perdarahan, risiko syok dan bahkan kematian. Pencegahan anemia selama kehamilan dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan edukasi mengenai kondisi ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penyuluhan pada ibu hamil terhadap pencegahan anemia selama kehamilan. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka dengan mengakses sumber melalui Google Scholar dan PubMed. Dari 10 artikel yang digunakan (8 jurnal nasional dan 2 jurnal internasional), semua diterbitkan dalam 5 tahun terakhir dan membahas pengaruh media edukasi terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai anemia. Hasil analisis beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media edukasi pada ibu hamil berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai anemia. Para profesional kesehatan disarankan untuk memanfaatkan pendidikan melalui media edukasi sebagai bagian dari upaya pencegahan anemia selama kehamilan.
