Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the importance of intellectual intelligence and the influence of emotional intelligence in the world of education. This study report uses a descriptive qualitative lecture method by listening and taking notes because the source of the information was obtained from one of Gita Wirjawan's YouTube channels, namely about "Intelligence & Happiness in a Neuroscience Perspective'' where the content is that one of the keys to happiness is the ability to control emotions so as not to too often hijacks common sense. But from a neuroscience perspective, the extent of the modern human brain, in essence, is not much different from the brains of its predecessors. Neuroscience in developing intellectual intelligence is very important, because the structure of the nervous system underlies human actions in both cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. To make it easier to develop intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence  through interesting and fun learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VII dalam mata pelajaran matematika, khususnya dalam memahami materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linear Satu Variabel. Penelitian ini melibatkan 38 siswa kelas VII di sebuah SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Karawang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen tes berupa lima soal uraian terkait materi tersebut digunakan, serta wawancara tak-terstruktur sebagai instrumen non-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam membentuk model matematika, memahami pertanyaan yang diajukan, dan menyusun simpulan yang memadai berdasarkan jawaban yang telah diberikan. Kesimpulannya, rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam memahami materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linear Satu Variabel disebabkan oleh kesulitan dalam membentuk model matematika, memahami pertanyaan yang diajukan, dan menyusun simpulan yang memadai.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze effective corporate financial management practices and their implications. The focus is on identifying key determinants, examining their impact on firm performance and shareholder value, and exploring moderating effects of contextual factors such as industry characteristics and regulatory environments. Practical implications for corporate managers, investors, policymakers, and stakeholders are also provided. Research Design and Methodology: A quantitative descriptive research design is employed, synthesizing insights from existing literature. Data is collected through comprehensive literature searches in academic databases, journals, books, and conference proceedings. Thematic analysis, content analysis, and narrative synthesis are used to identify key themes, theoretical frameworks, and empirical findings. Findings and Discussion: Findings reveal that strategic financial planning, capital structure decisions, effective risk management, and transparent financial reporting are crucial components of effective corporate financial management. Strategic financial planning guides decision-making and resource allocation. Optimal capital structure decisions balance debt and equity to maximize shareholder value. Effective risk management enhances financial stability and resilience, while transparent financial reporting fosters investor trust and market efficiency. Strong corporate governance mechanisms are essential for ensuring transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in financial management practices. Implications: Practical implications include adopting an integrated approach to financial management, encompassing financial planning, capital structure decisions, risk management, and transparent reporting. Emphasizing strong corporate governance is crucial for ethical and accountable financial practices. Future research should explore emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in corporate financial management, ensuring organizations remain resilient and adaptable in a dynamic business environment.

Abstract

This research explores the interaction between state law and religious law in regulating husbands' authority in Muslim families in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with document analysis methods, in-depth interviews, and case studies, this research identifies how the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) and Marriage Law No. 1 of 1974 plays a role in shaping power dynamics in the family. The findings show that despite efforts to harmonize traditional principles of Islamic law and more inclusive modern legal standards, implementation still faces various challenges, including cultural resistance, lack of legal awareness, and inconsistencies in law enforcement. Additionally, international influence and women's human rights activism play an important role in pushing for fairer and more equal legal reforms. Case studies from various regions in Indonesia show variations in legal application that reflect the influence of local context on the interpretation and implementation of family law. The results of this research highlight the need for a holistic approach that includes legal education, ongoing advocacy, and strengthening the capacity of legal institutions to achieve greater gender equality in Muslim family law in Indonesia.
