Abstract

This study aims to examine and determine whether there is an influence between financial literacy on self-concept, lifestyle and consumptive behavior of Economic Education Students, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. This researcher is a quantitative research with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The sample is 50 students of economic education. The sampling technique used is a systematic sampling technique by taking the student principal number system with odd sequence numbers. Primary data processing using statistical analysis techniques package for social science (SPSS 26) with multiple regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy on self-concept has a significant value of 0.0 < 5% = (0.05) with a tcount of 430.1. Financial literacy on lifestyle has a tcount value of 2,565. Financial literacy on consumptive behavior has a tcount of 1.662. And after being tested together, it can be concluded that the most partial is the self-concept that the tcount value is 3.361 and the ANOVA fcount test results are 6.444, the r2 value is 29.6%, the rest is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and determine whether there is an influence between UKT Scholarships on student achievement in the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. This study uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The sample used was 65 students who received UKT Scholarships. Data collection tools in this study are Observation which aims to observe the object to be examined directly, Questionnaire (Questionnaire) aims to obtain data on UKT Scholarships and Learning Achievements, Documentation aims to obtain information from the environment to be studied. The sampling technique used was Total Sampling. The data analysis technique used statistical package for social science (SPSS26) with the simple regression analysis method. The results showed that the UKT Scholarship (X) had a tcount of 3,740 with a Cronbach Alpha (researched result) of 73.5%, while learning achievement (Y) had a tcount of 6,687 with a Cronbach Alpha (sought result) of 86.2%, with the results of the ANOVA test Fcount 13,985. Thus, the effect of Single Tuition Scholarship (UKT) on Student Learning Achievement is 18.20%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the business development strategy to increase competitiveness in the Aroma Bakery 3 micro business in Bengkulu City. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Aroma Bakery 3 always carries out business development, even though the motive for changing circumstances such as motives in terms of characteristics and business capital has a very high influence on the business. There are always opportunities for business development. Aroma Bakery 3 takes advantage of business opportunities by making sales by canvassing stalls such as klontog shops and minimarkets as well as utilizing social media such as WhatsApp and Facebook as a tool to make sales. They held a training at Aroma Bakery 3 which was attended by the owner and all male employees. The emergence of the COVID-19 outbreak caused sales to decline due to social distancing, but business continued and did not fire employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the factors of motivation, innovation, creativity, self-confidence and science of technology affect the entrepreneurial interest of students of the Economic Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. This type of research is a quantitative study with a total sample of students from the 2018 and 2019 classes so that the number of respondents is 71. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS version 26.0 program. The results showed that the motivation indicator had a tcount of 4,555 with a cronbach alpha of 85.2%, then the innovation variable had a tcount of 5.685 with a cronbach alpha of 84.2%, creativity with a tcount of 7,316 with a cronbach alpha of 88,1%, confidence tcount of 17,428 with cronbach alpha 84.3% and technology science with a value of tcount 5.299 with cronbach alpha 87.4%. While the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.823, which means that 82.3% of these factors affect students' interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The critical thinking ability of students at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara is still relatively low. For this reason, it is very necessary to have a learning system that supports the improvement of students' critical thinking skills. The inquiry learning emphasizes the activeness of students to have a learning experience in finding material concepts based on the problems posed so that they can improve students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to determine the critical thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara and to determine the effect of inquiry learning on students' critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara. The type of research conducted is experimental research. The research methodology used in this research is quantitative, namely quasi-experimental. Data collection analysis techniques through tests, observations and documentation. The samples taken are class X MIPA 5 and X MIPA 6. Where the number of students in class X MIPA 5 is 30 people and class X MIPA 6 is 30 people. The results of this study indicate that inquiry learning at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara has an influence on students' critical thinking skills, this can be seen from the results of testing the calculated f value (3.150) more than f table (0.05) so that based on the testing criteria, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. There is no difference in the initial critical thinking ability of students at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara for the experimental class and the control class, this can be seen from the tcount value less than ttable so that the null hypothesis is accepted. Meanwhile, for students' critical thinking skills for the experimental class and the control class after being given treatment there are differences, this can be seen from the value of tcount more than ttable, the null hypothesis is rejected. The effect of inquiry learning on students' critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara shows the average N-gain score for the experimental class of 60.87% "Quite effective". Meanwhile for the control class, 36.09% is "ineffective". So it can be concluded that the use of the inquiry learning model is quite effective in improving students' critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara. .
