<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determined the level of familyâs knowledge with the level of anxiety whose famylyâs members undergoing hemodialysis therapy. The research method was a cross sectional with analytic approach. The study was conducted at hemodialysis room of Arifin Achmad Hospital in Pekanbaru involving 52 respondents. The sampling method used convinence sampling (accidental sampling). Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis used univariate and bivariate with chi square test. Based on the results, the level of family knowledge about hemodialysis is good enough as many as 28 respondents (53.8%), less in 15 respondents (28.8%) and good in 9 respondents (17.4%). This research can be concluded that no significant relationship between the level of familyâs knowledge about hemodialysis with the level of anxiety that members of undergoing hemodialysis therapy (p value 0,002). The results of this research recommends nurses to provide health education about hemodialysis to familyâs member undergoing hemodialysis therapy wich Chronic Renal Failure (CRF). <![CDATA[The purpose of this research was to identify internal and external factors of LKB’s health volunteers associated to prevent HIV/AIDS disease. The methodology on this research was a correlative descriptive with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique was cluster sampling with 60 LKB’s health volunteers in Senapelan and Tenayan Raya district Pekanbaru. The measurement instrument of this research was questionnaire that have tested in validity and reliability. The univariate analysis was done to determine the distributions of frequencies dan bivariate analysis was done by using chi-square test. The results showed that there was no correlation between LKB’s health volunteers age and effort of HIV/AIDS prevention (p value = 0,181), there was a correlation between level of education and effort of HIV/AIDS prevention (p value = 0,034) and there was a correlation between knowledge and effort of HIV/AIDS prevention (p value = 0,019). It is recommended to the health care provider (puskesmas) to increase empowerment and the number of LKB’s health volunteers for maximum preventing HIV/AIDS disease. <![CDATA[Hemodialysis would affect body image and have the impact on quality of life of patients due to variety changes in the patients body. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body image and quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis. The research method is descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted in Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru with a sample of 60 respondents. The sampling method is purpossive sampling. Data collection tool in this study is a questionnaire with 40 statements. Data was analyze by using univariate and bivariate analysis using with chi square tests. The results showed that there is a relathionship between body image and quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis with p value (0,003) < α (0,05). This study recommend hemodialysis unit to further improve performance in providing comprehensive care nursing practice both physical and psychosocial in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis especially on the subject of body image disturbance that will affect the quality of life of patients. <![CDATA[The aim of this research was identify the correlation between implementation of character education with social behavior of students. The design of the study was correlation research with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique was consecutive sampling with 94 students who attend school in Vocational High School Pekanbaru State 2 were selected based on inclusion criteria. Instrument used the study was a questionnaire consisted of 20 question to asses implementation of character education and 26 question to asses social behavior of students which was valid and reliable. Data analyses used in the study were univariate analysis to know distribution of frequency and bivariate analyses by using chi square. The result showed that p value (0,054) < alpha (0,10). It meant that there was a correlation between implementation of character education with social behavior of students. Educational institutions are expected to be able to optimize the implementation of character education efforts in schools to increase student achievement and to minimize deviant behavior of students. The analysis used univariate and bivariate with chi square test. Based on the results, the level of family knowledge about hemodialysis is good enough as many as 28 respondents (53.8%), less in 15 respondents (28.8%) and good in 9 respondents (17.4%). This research can be concluded that no significant relationship between the level of family’s knowledge about hemodialysis with the level of anxiety that members of undergoing hemodialysis therapy (p value 0,002). The results of this research recommends nurses to provide health education about hemodialysis to family’s member undergoing hemodialysis therapy wich Chronic Renal Failure (CRF). <![CDATA[Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience and associated with actual or potential tissue damage. Acute pain response of neonates can be evaluated from the response behavior, physiological, and facial expressions by using a pain scale: premature infant pain profile (PIPP). The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of 24% oral sucrose solution in acute pain response during IV insertion procedure. This study used a pre- experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 10 mature infants ( ≥ 37 weeks gestation ). Administration of 1 ml of sterile water 2 minutes before IV insertion is done when the pretest and administration of 1 ml of 24% oral sucrose solution 2 minutes before the infusion is done when the posttest. The study was conducted at Ibu Sina Hospital Pekanbaru. Sampling using probability sampling technic with the purposive sampling type. Analysis of the data using univariate and bivariate analysis (test wilcoxon). The results showed 24 % oral sucrose solution is effective against acute pain response of neonates during IV insertion with p value of 0,020 (p < 0,05). Recommendation of this study is: administration of 24 % oral sucrose solution needs to be applied in providing nursing care to infants as a non-pharmacological therapy to reduce acute pain response during IV insertion. <![CDATA[The purpose of this research was to determine effectiveness of classical music therapy toward decrease level hallucination in patient with auditory of hallucination at RSJ Tampan Riau province. The research used quasy experimental design with pretest-posttest design with control group which divided into experimental group and control group. Sample of this research is 34 people devided into 17 people as the exsperimental group and 17 people as a control group with using purposive sampling of techniques sampling. Instruments of this research has been tested the validity and reability. The experimental group were given interventions with music therapy of five time in five days for 10-15 minutes. Then the data analyzed into univariate and bivariate using wilcoxon test and mean-whitney test. The result of the research showed there is significantly to contrast level of hallucination after given intervention between experimental group and control group with p value 0,000 (<0,05). In conclusion level of hallucination experimental group was lower than control group after given intervention. The result is expected of music therapy to be one nursing intervention to decrease level hallucination with auditory of hallucination. <![CDATA[The purpose of this research was to determine relationship between nurse unit manager supervision with motivation of nurses in Ward RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau. This research used descriptive correlative method with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted at RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau by total sample of 43 people who were taken by using a random sampling technique. Measuring instrument used was questionnaire which tested the validity and reability. The analysis used chi-square test. The results of this research showed no relationship between supervision by nurse unit manager with motivation of nurses in Ward (p value 0,169 > a 0,05). From this research,it is expected to hospital management to evaluate the implementation of nurse unit manager supervision and to improve the supervision of the nurse unit manager so that the supervision of the implementation of the objectives and benefits of supervision can be achieved. <![CDATA[The aim of this research was to analize the relationship between diet with the risk of gastritis for competency-based curriculum system students. This study was a correlational study with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique was simple random sampling with 115 competency-based curriculum system students were selected based on inclusion criteria. Data were analyzed by using univariate analysis to determine the distribution of frequencies and bivariate analysis by using Chi-Square. The results showed that p value (0,004) < alpha (0,05). It meant that there was a relationship between diet and the risk of gastritis competency-based curriculum system students. Besed on this result, it suggest to students keep their health statis by maintaining a regular diet and prevent the causes that can stimulate to gastritis. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support with the level of loneliness in the elderly. This study used a cross sectional correlation approach. This study was conducted on 75 elderly people taken by using cluster sampling technique. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire with 31 questions which have tested the validity and reliability (r=0,855). The results showed p value=0,001 which means that there is a significant association between family support with the level of loneliness in the elderly.
