Abstract

Klimak alur ceritera lakon wayang versi Mahabarata adalah terjadinya perang besar baratayuda yang melibatkan Kurawa dan Pandawa. Sebelum perang berlangsung, Kresna menjadi duta Pandawa untuk melengkapi duta yang ketiga kalinya. Kresna mengendarai kereta Jaladara yang ditarik empat kuda yang berwarna merah, putih, hitam dan kuning, simbol kendaraan kebesaran sebagai kendaraan wisnu. Sebagai sais dipercayakan kepada Setiyaki. Ditengah perjalanan dihadang dewa Narada, Janaka, Kanwa dan Parasu. Para dewa diperintahkan Guru Dewa untuk menyaksikan perundingan antara Kresna dengan Duryudana. Setelah sampai di Astina ternyata Duryudana telah mempersiapkan banyak prajurit untuk berperang. Dalam perundingan Duryudana tidak bersedia memenuhi kewajibanya untuk mengembalikan hak bagian keluarga Pandawa tanpa diperjuangkan melalui adu kekuatan. Di Aloon-aloon Kresna telah dihadang prajurit untuk dibunuh, ternyata yang ada adalah Setiyaki. Terjadilah perang tanding antara Burisrawa melawan Setiyaki. Oleh karena gelagat akan adanya pengeroyokan, Setiyaki lari mencari Kresna. Di pendapa pasewakan terjadilah keelokan setelah Duryudana menolak permintaan Kresna. Munculah kekuatan mantram sakti Kresna yang menakutkan sehingga terjadi huru hara. Melihat gelagat yang kurang baik Narada menenteramkan Wisnu agar segera berubah kembali menjadi Kresna. Sebagai duta berarti gagal, Kresna segera kembali ke Wiratha bersama Setiyaki. Kresna melaporkan bahwa Astina sudah bersiap berperang melawan Pandawa. Story plot climax of puppet play of Mahabharata version is the great war involving Baratayuda Kurawas and Pandawas. Before the war, the Pandawas Krishna became ambassador to complement the third time. Krishna ride Jaladara fulled by four red, white, black and yellow horses vehicle , a symbol of the greatness of the vehicle as a vehicle of Vishnu. The gods instructed Guru Dewa to witness the talks between Krishna and Duryudana. After reaching Astina Duryudana apparently many soldiers have been preparing for battle. In talks Duryudana not willing to fulfill its obligations to return the part without the Pandavas fought through a power struggle. In Aloon-aloon and sisters, Krishna had been ambushed soldiers to  be killed, it turns out that there is Setiyaki. Duel ensued between Burisrawa against Setiyaki. Therefore, the existence of signs beatings, Setiyaki run for Krishna. Krishna comes the power of magic spells daunting resulting riots. Seeing unfavorable Vishnu Narada reassuring to immediately turn back into Krishna. As ambassador he felt fail, Krishna soon returned to Wiratha with Setiyaki. Krishna report that Higashi was ready to fight against the Pandawas.

Abstract

In present work, ramie fiber based composites are fabricated and tested on its mechanical properties and interface structure. The work aims to investigate effect of volume fraction of ramie fiber (VoF) on mechanical properties (yield and tensile strength, bending stress and strain, and modulus elasticity) of the composites. Besides, bonding and mixing between ramie fiber and resin are also observed under interface structure test. The VoF observed are 25, 35, 45, and 55%. The results indicate that maximum yields strength of 8.03 kgf/mm2 and tensile strength of 12.29 kgf/mm2 are obtained in the composite with VoF of 45%. Meanwhile, bending stress of 121.78 MPa and bending stress of 3.25% are observed in the composite with VoF of 55%. Although good bending between ramie and resin are occurred, but non-uniform mixing between the two is observed due to fabrication method used.

Abstract

Mitsubishi Chassis is steal that contains 0.044% Carbon. The limitation is especially on its corrosion resistance; therefore. The aim of the study was to know the effect of hardening on the process of quenching and tempering toward hardness, micro structure and corrosion resistance of Mitsubishi Chassis FE 114 to increase the age of material usage. This study used material of Mitsubishi chassis FE114 of truck vehicle. It was done heating by using furnace (heater oven) on temperature 850°C for about 30 minutes. After that it was quenched by using viscosity variation of oil media with number of viscosity SAE 50, SAE 90 and SAE 140. To know the material characteristics after quenching and tempering, it was done hardness, micro structure, and corrosion testing.The result of this study shows that the value of hardening of Mitsubishi Chassis FE 114 increases on tempering of the hardness about 160.431 BHN on specimen quenching with oil media SAE 50, SAE 90. On the observing of micro structure, heating on quenching process and continued by tempering 200° C for 30 minutes occurred on perlite and ferrite phases. The corrosion speed before quenching process is 46.39 mm/year. The resistance of corrosion decrease after doing quenching process for all viscosity variation oil media. This shows that corrosion resistance of Mitsubishi Chassis FE 114 can not be increased with quenching process.

Abstract

Vehicles that are mostly still using conventional fuels (gasoline and diesel). The fuel demand is increasing in many areas, especially for automotive so we need to save energy by increasing engine performance. This case forced to examine the effect of using and without out the spontan power to the engine performance. This study used the constant load for each test (standard engine and the spontan power) with the variation of rotation 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500 , 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000 and 6500 rpm in laboratorium. This research was also conducted in the field to know the difference in ecceleration.The test had been conducted to assess the performance of a 4-stroke motor-cycle engine of 100cc Honda supra x 2001 and the result said that using the spontan power the torque rose 17.85% to standard conditions, the average power rose 14.79 % to standard conditions, the everage effective pressure rose 17.82%, average fuel consum-ption reduced 7.112% to standard condition and the everage efficiency increase 24.303% to standard condition.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of the change of cylinder head and the height of exhaust port to obtain great and safe power. Cylinder has many ports which are used in scavenging process (proses pemasukan, pembilasan dan proses pem-buangan) Exhaust port determines compression that is occurred in two stroke engine cycle and influences the engine characters. In standard condition, revolution 1500 produced 2 Nm torque. After modification, torque decreased to 1,5Nm. New torque increased in revolution 2000 rpm with 3,1Nm. Torque reached a peak from 10,8Nm in revolution 8500rpm to 13,6Nm in revolution 10.000rpm. Power produced in standard condition was 0,4Hp in revolution 1500rpm. After modification, it decreased to 0,3Hp. New power increased in revolution 3500rpm. Power reached a peak from 12,9Hp in revolution 8500 rpm to 19Hp in revolution 10.000rpm.

Abstract

The performance of combustion engine of torak can be seen from torque, break power, , the break mean effective pressure, fuel consumption, specific fuel consumption, AFR and efficiency produced. The research discusses the effect of fuel saving consumption “Power X” to the performance of diesel motor. The research used speed average such as 1600, 1950, 2300, 2650, 3000 Rpm. The result showed that the use of Power X caused torque increased 3,160782 Nm or 2,72%, power increased 0,7613 kW or 2,74%, effective pressure increased 18,3622 kPa or 2.73%. Fuel consumption decreased 0,3572 gr/second or 14,34 %, specific fuel consumption decreased 0,01516 mg/joule or 16,83%. Ratio between air and fuel increased 1,8476 or 14,67%. Thermal efficiency increased 0,05102 or 20,19 %.

Abstract

The research will compare gasoline engine by using fuel ionizer device with stan-dard condition focusing on engine performance and exhausted emission. From the ana-lysis it can be proved that by using Fuel ionizer , the maximum torque obtained was in re-volution 6000 rpm with 9,7 Nm. There is an increase about 2,06 % from standard con-dition with 9,5 Nm. The power that was produced in high revolution 6000 rpm also increa-sed 2,05 % with the use of Fuel Ionizer. The minimum power increased 2,7% in revolution 1500 rpm .The use of Fuel Ionizer caused Bmep increased 7,67 %, SCF decreased 17,55 % and efficiency increased 16,32 %. For exhausted emission, the use of fuel ioni-zer caused CO decreased 1,8% - 13,10%. HC decreased 1,3% -19,7%, CO2 increased 8% - 13,7%, while O2 has various values; in revolution 2500 rpm – 3000 rpm there was an increase in CO content and in revolution 3500 rpm-6000 rpm, the content of O2 in standard condition was higher and Lambda value increased 0,13% - 2,62% after using Fuel Ionizer.
