Abstract

ABSTRACTThe main problem is aimed at knowing communication of Sindangsari village development in increasing social participation, rural development communication is a bridge of village and community apparatuses, opinion leaders who initiate development have an important role in planning, arranging, and choosing the right media to improve community participation in carrying out social activities. descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach using observation, interview, document and literature study data collection techniques. The results of the study show that the communication development of the Sindangsari village emphasizes the importance of social aspects regardless of social status, different cultural cultures.  Conclusion of village communication Sindangsari optimizing the smartphone and the internet through social media such as what'sapp, facebook, and instagram. In addition, in increasing social participation, the community of Sindangsari village has formed a social community.Keywords : development communication, increased participation,  social community, village

Abstract

The aims of this study were to analyze the housewives characteristics, the motivation for listening to Pro Doctorradio program, the relationship between characteristics and motivation, the relationship between media use andmotivation, and the relationship between motivation and satisfaction as the effect of the media. The study wasdesigned as a survey employing a descriptive correlational method. One hundred housewives were chosen asrespondents through a simple random sampling method. Data were analyzed with Rank Spearman Test, Chi SquareTest and Contingency Coefficient Test using SPSS program. Results of the study show the characteristics of samplesas follows: average age is 37 years, without occupation, family income is between Rp1-2 million, senior high school(or equivalent) education, and between 1 to 3 children in the family. The motivations for listening to the radioprogram are: gaining information, broadening vision, easiness to solve problems in health, feeling more secure,confidence, and having a topic to talk about when meeting friends. Family income correlates highly significantly withmotives for: gaining information, broadening vision, and having a topic to talk about; while correlates significantlywith motives for easiness to solve problems, and confidence. The number of family members has a high significantrelationship with motives for gaining information, has significant relationship with motivation for having a topic totalk about. There are significant differences in any motivation between housewives who have occupations and thosewho do not have one. There is a strong relationship between occupation and the motivation for: solving problems,feeling more secure, confidence, having a topic to talk about, entertainment, feeling spare time, and routinines. Thefrequency to listen correlates highly significantly with motivation for: gaining information, while correlatessignificantly with feeling spare time and routines. The intensity of completeness, active sums/phone is closelyassociated with the motivation to fill spare time, the associated with health problems, and rout nines. Motivation for:rout nines and having topic to talk about, correlate significantly with the cognitive and conative aspects. Motivationfor: gaining information and broadening vision correlate highly significantly with the affective and connate aspects.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is knowing about meanings that contained in advert of cigarette Djarum Super “My Great Adventure Indonesia” version in television. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive that using qualitative method by approach semiotic analysis. The data of analyse from this research using “signifier” or connotation meaning, “signified” or denotation meaning and “signification” or both meanings. This advert of Djarum Super “My Great Adventure Indonesia” version is explaining if this advert want to show to public the characteristic that leading to positive things of that product, it also want to present if Indonesia is reach of nature potential, beauty of nature and varied of cultures.Key words:advertmeaning, semiotica analysis, SCTV

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil pengembangan busana pesta malam dengan sumber ide dari mitologi kerajaan Yunani. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), menggunakan metode pengembangan Borg & Gall. Proses penelitian pengembangan busana pesta malam ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan, validasi dan uji coba busana pesta malam. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner/angket. Hasil pengembangan busana pesta malam dengan sumber ide dari mitologi kerajaan Yunani terdiri dari dua busana yaitu busana pesta malam I busana yang bersumber ide dari busana perang Dewi Athena terlihat pada bagian draperi selendang. Sedangkan busana pesta malam II busana bersumber ide dari Dewi Athena terlihat pada hiasan dibagian dada, warna busana pesta, dan aksesoris. Untuk uji ahli produk dengan hasil penilaian 89,41% yang termasuk dalam kualifikasi produk pengembangan busana pesta malam dengan sumber ide dari mitologi kerajaan Yunani dikatagorikan baik.Kata Kunci : Busana pesta malam, Mitologi Kerajaan Yunani, Pengembangan, Sumber Ide. This study aims to determine the process and results of the development of evening party dress with a source of ideas from Greek royal mythology. This research is a development research (Research and Development), this study using Borg & Gall's development method. The research process for evening party fashion development was carried out through several stages, namely the stage of data collection, planning, development, validation and testing of evening party attire. Collecting data used in this study using questionnaire / questionnaire method. The results of the development of evening party dress with a source of ideas from Greek royal mythology consisted of two outfits, namely the evening party dress I, clothing that originated from the ideas of the warrior goddess Athena seen in draperi scarves. While the evening party dress II, fashion originating from the idea of the Goddess Athena, is seen on the chest decoration, party dress colors, and accessories. For expert test products with 89.41% assessment results included in the qualification of night party fashion development products with a source of ideas from Greek mythology are categorized as good.keyword : Evening party dress, Greek Kingdom Mythology, Development, Idea Source.
