Abstract

Soybean is a consumption material for the food processing industry, one of products is tofu and one of the most abundant and continuously produced throughout the year. The production of tofu in Garut Regency is also carried out by enterprises with different formulations even though the technicalities and raw materials are the same. The need for soybeans can be viewed from their use as raw material by industry, the number of enterprises and the amount of soybeans used in each production to the total amount of soybeans that must be available. The current problem is that the fulfillment of soybeans is carried out through imports by the government and a small part is met from domestic production, however, government policy continues to strive to increase food production including soybeans to reduce dependence on imported soybeans. Garut Regency is one of the second largest soybean producers in West Java. This study aims to determine the use, differences in the composition of soybeans for each craftsman in the processing, as well as the fluctuation in the amount of soybean needs used by the enterprises in Garut Regency for one year. The research used quantitative descriptive analysis method which presented the research data which were described descriptively according to the field results. This study concludes that the need for soybeans cannot be replaced by local soybeans due to limited supply of quantity and time, other than that local soybeans are used for mixtures because of their superiority in increasing the number of products, then the supply of soybeans should be seen based on a certain period, not on a total annual basis because of fluctuations in demand. due to community habits and national and religious holidays.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: 1) kemampuan penyediaan kedelai pada tahun 2012 di Kabupaten Garut dan 2) prediksi kebutuhan konsumsi kedelai di Kabupaten Garut 5 tahun ke depan. Studi ini telah diselenggarakan dari Mei sampai Juli 2013. Pengumpulan data dalam wujud data deret waktu (time series) di dalam 10 tahun terakhir (2003-2012), data sekunder tersebut meliputi banyaknya penduduk, luas panen yang diukur dalam ha (hektar), produksi dan produktivitas kedelai pada setiap tahunnya di Kabupaten Garut, data tersebut selanjutnya diolah untuk menentukan hasil yang dibutuhkan untuk peramalan pemenuhan data kebutuhan dan kemampuan untuk menyediakan konsumsi kedelai di Kabupaten Garut. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan kualitatif sederhana untuk menentukan pemenuhan kebutuhan dan kemampuan konsumsi terhadap komoditas  kedelai, untuk mendapatkan peramalan kebutuhan kedelai di Kabupaten Garut 5 tahun kedepan dilakukan dengan menggunakan data terakhir dari instansi terkait, analisis kecenderungan (trend analysis), dan analisis deret waktu. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kemampuan Kabupaten Garut dalam pemenuhan kedelai yang akan siap untuk dikonsumsi sebesar 21.462 ton pada tahun 2012, hasil ini belum melampaui kebutuhan yang harus disediakan Kabupaten Garut pada tahun tersebut yang berjumlah 25.178,44 ton kedelai. Pada tahun 2017 produksi kedelai Kabupaten Garut diramalkan akan menghasilkan sejumlah 23.655 ton sedangkan kebutuhan kedelainya diramalkan sebesar 26.807,96 ton, dengan  jumlah sebesar itu, Kabupaten Garut masih belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan perkapita penduduknya untuk komoditi kedelai.

Abstract

Wedang Jahe Instant Jawaru is a traditional health drink ginger-based produced by UMKM Jawaru. This study aims to identify the company's internal and external factors, and identify the best strategy that can be applied to the development of UMKM Jawaru in Pasirwaru Village, Blubur Limbangan District, Garut Regency. The research method used is a qualitative and quantitative method for 10 key informants. Internal factors include strengths and weaknesses from within the company consisting of management, production and operations, finance, marketing, and human resources, while external factors include opportunities and threats from outside the company consisting of economic, social & cultural, political, policy, legal, technology and competitors. The results showed that the internal factor that became the strength of the UMKM Jawaru was the quality of the product with a score of 0.43, as well as the internal factor that became a weakness was control management with a score of 0.14, while the external factor that became an opportunity was the rapid development of the internet with a score of 0.68, as well as external factors that pose a threat was competition with products that have been around for a long time with a score of 0.24, and there are 8 alternative strategies resulting from the development of the SWOT strategy types that can be applied in UMKM Jawaru.

Abstract

Urban Cafe is a coffee cafe located in Garut Kota District, from January 2021 to February 2022 the number of visitors has increased and decreased. This study aims to determine the influence of social, psychological, and personal factors on purchasing decisions, and to determine the most influential factors on purchasing decisions at Urban Cafe. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research. The processed data is the result of distributing questionnaires to 76 Urban Cafe visitors as respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. To explain the description of research related to the hypothesis using analysis: Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Normality Test, Heteroscedasticity Test, Autocorrelation Test, Multicollinearity Test, Hypothesis Test, T Test, F Test, Determination (R2). Based on the results of data analysis for the significance test T test shows that social variables (X1), personal (X2) partially have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase food and drinks at Urban Cafe, and for psychological variables (X3) have an effect but not significant, and F test results personal factor is the variable that dominantly influences purchasing decisions with a value of 20.356.
