Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran Treffinger di kelas VIII-1 SMPN 3 Tangerang Selatan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-1 yang terdiri atas 38 siswa dengan 16 siswa laki-laki dan 22 siswa perempuan. Fokus pengamatan pada dua siswa masing-masing pada kelompok atas, sedang, dan rendah pada materi pembelajaran Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel (SPLDV). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, analisis, dan refleksi. Untuk memeroleh data kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa menggunakan tes kemampuan penalaran matematis. Hasil perolehan nilai untuk setiap subjek penelitian pada siklus I, yaitu SP1 mendapatkan nilai 62,5, SP2 mendapatkan 70,8, SP3 mendapatkan 45,8, SP4 mendapatkan 58,3, SP5 mendapatkan 37,5, dan SP6 mendapatkan 37,5. Pada siklus II nilai tiap SP meningkat, SP1 mendapatkan nilai 75, SP2 mendapatkan 75, SP3 mendapatkan 79,2, SP4 mendapatkan 62,5, SP5 mendapatkan 62,5, dan SP6 mendapatkan 50. Pada siklus III nilai tiap SP juga meningkat, SP1 mendapatkan nilai 79,2, SP2 mendapatkan 79,2, SP3 mendapatkan 83,3, SP4 mendapatkan 75, SP5 mendapatkan 75, dan SP6 mendapatkan 70,8. Ketuntasan klasikal subjek penelitian untuk kemampuan penalaran matematis dalam kategori baik pada siklus III telah mencapai 83,33%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Treffinger dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas VIII-1 SMPN 3 Tangerang Selatan pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran M-APOS berbantuan Portal Rumah Belajar dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di SMKN 26 Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan metode quasi experiment. Desain yang digunakan adalah Posttest-only Control Design. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas X di SMKN 26 Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan cluster random sampling. Kelas X TMPO 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X TMPO 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. berdasarkan hasil pengujian menggunakan uji t’ diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran M-APOS berbantuan Portal Rumah Belajar terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di SMKN 26 Jakarta.

Abstract

Many researchers found that students have difficulties in understanding probability. Students mostly focus on applying formula to find the solution of problem without knowing what the concept is and why the formula works. It is important for the students to build relational understanding.This underlies the researcher to design  learning of probability as hypothetical learning trajectory. Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) underlies the design of context andactivitiesto be do.This study uses a design research method which consists of three phases is  preparation and design, teaching experiment and retrospective analysis. The data collection technique is done by video recorder, documentation and test questions. The results of the research carried out obtained that student experienced an increase and the gave a good response to in solving the questions.

Abstract

The research conducted in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendekia Serpong with quasi-experimental design aims to find out the effect of scaffolding technique on students’ ability of mathematical reasoning (KPM) and mathematical anxiety (KM) viewed from gender. The research sample is class X of science students (MIPA) which consist of 87 students; 41 male and 46 female obtained by cluster random sampling technique. The research data was obtained from the KPM test result and KM questionnaire filling and processed with two-track anava and t-test to answer the research hypothesis. The findings of this research are: (1) students’ KPM who were taught with scaffolding technique is higher than the conventional; (2) there is no interaction between learning techniques and gender to KPM; (3) KPM of male students who were taught with scaffolding technique is higher than the conventional; (4) there is no difference of KPM between group of female students who were taught with scaffolding and conventional technique; (5) there is no difference of KM between group of students who were taught with scaffolding and conventional technique; (6) there is no interaction between learning techniques and gender to student’s KM; (7) there is no difference of KM between male students who were taught with scaffolding and conventional technique; (8) there was no difference of KM between female students who were taught with scaffolding and conventional technique.

Abstract

Sructural Equation Model (SEM) merupakan penggabungan teknik analisis faktor dan sidik lintas. Ada dua pendekatanpada SEM. Pertama, model struktur koragam, dikenal dengan metode LISREL (Linier Structural RELations), yang mempunyaiasumsi-asumsi peubah pengamatan menyebar normal ganda dan ukuran contoh relatif besar (n>100). Kedua, metode kuadratterkecil parsial, dikenal dengan metode PLS (Partial Least Squares), yang mempunyai asumsi-asumsi bebas sebaran (softmodeling), dan ukuran contoh tidah harus besar. Kedua metode terdebut diterapkan pada pemodelan Kualitas mahasiswa. Karenadata tidak menyebar normal ganda dan ukuran contoh pada tulisan ini n<100(n=71) sehingga metode PLS lebih tepat digunakandari pada metode LISREL.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the effectiveness of PMRI implementation organized by FKIP UNSRI Palembang at two elementary schools in Palembang. It was an evaluation research by Frechting’s Logic Model and by context component as complementary. Triangulation used as credibility test to check the validity of data. Data source triangulation was done to the PMRI central team, PMRI local team, principals, teachers, and students. Meanwhile, data collection techniques triangulation was gotten from questionnaires, interviews, and document observations. Model analysis applied in this research was qualitative. The result of research gave conclusion that the PMRI implementation by FKIP UNSRI has been quite effective. There were several things that have not been appropriate with PMRI standards i.e. the preparation of teaching materials in SDN 98 did not run optimally because the school used regulated thematic teaching materials by provincial government and some teachers did not use evaluation system with PMRI standards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh analisis kebuutuhan siswa yang dilakukan pada tanggal 28 November 2018 di SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta. Siswa mengalami kesulitan pada materi aritmetika sosial sebesar 43,85%. Sebanyak 54,71% siswa berpendapat bahwa materi tersebut seharusnya diajarkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis android. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan pendekatan saintifik yang dibuat dengan software Construct 2 pada materi aritmetika sosial. Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, digunakan jenis penelitian pendidikan Research and Development (RnD) yang mengacu pada model penelitian Borg and Gall. Uji coba media dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta dengan melibatkan 31 siswa kelas VII. Media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan berupa aplikasi yang dapat dioperasikan menggunakan smartphone android. Media pembelajaran tersebut telah melalui validasi ahli media dengan nilai persentase rata-rata 77,19% dan dikategorikan valid. Hasil penilaian ahli materi dan bahasa diperoleh persentase rata-rata 83,77% dan dikategorikan sangat valid. Hasil penilaian oleh guru diperoleh persentase rata-rata 89,02% dan dikategorikan sangat valid. Sedangkan hasil akhir penilaian oleh siswa pada uji coba skala kecil dan skala besar masing-masing diperoleh nilai rata-rata 97,20% dan 96,90%. Sehingga, rata-rata keseluruhan adalah 88,77% yang berarti media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan layak dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika untuk kelas VII SMP.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa di Indonesia masih rendah sehingga perlu ditingkatkan melalui inovasi pembelajaran. Penerapan pendekatan PMRI berbantu media Geogebra merupakan salah satu inovasi pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini menguji apakah penerapan pendekatan PMRI berbantu Geogebra dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan untuk meneliti hal tersebut adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain penelitiannya adalah Posttest Only Control Group. Simple Random Sampling adalah teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian. Kemudian yang terpilih sebagai sampel adalah siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-F SMP Labschool Cibubur. Instrumen penelitian berupa 8 soal uraian terkait Persamaan Garis Lurus yang telah valid dan reliabel merupakan instrumen yang mengukur kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Abstract

This study discusses the meaning and indicators of mathematical understanding concepts. The research method used is library research. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the ability to understand a concept mathematically is the ability to absorb and understand an idea or mathematic concept and relates one concept to another, and being able to represent it with mathematic form and create mathematic problem-solving algorithms in a precise, accurate and efficiently applied in everyday problems using own language.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ errors in solving the problem of essay test for comparative material based on the type of errors, describe the causes of students making errors, and conduct individual tutoring to minimize and overcome students’ errors. This is action research that conducted in three cycles with Research Subject (RS) for four students of class VIII F SMPN 232 Jakarta. Each RS represents one type of error based on the results of error analysis on initial test that given during pre-cycle, successive factual error, conceptual error, operation error, and principle of error. The instruments used in this study were initial test, end-cycle tests, documentation tools, interview guidelines, tutor guidelines, observation sheets, and field notes. The data was analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that in cycle I, RS1 still made a factual error, RS2 also made a conceptual error, while RS3 and RS4 had not made any errors. In cycle II and III, RS1, RS2, RS3, and RS4 had not made any errors. The cause of the factual error is lack of thoroughness. The cause of the conceptual error is not understanding the concept of the comparison type. The cause of the operation error is lack of thoroughness and haste. The cause of the principle of error is lack of thoroughness. It can be concluded that individual tutoring can minimize and overcome students’ errors in solving the problem of essay test for comparative material.
