Abstract

Improving the quality of higher education relates to the performance of lecturers in the field of education, research and publications, and community service. Improving the performance of lecturers requires the competence and commitment of the university leaders. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership on the performance of lecturers. The study was conducted at the Musi Charitas Catholic University. The location of this research was conducted at two campuses of Musi Charitas Catholic University namely: Bangau Campus and Burlian Campus. The study was conducted for 8 months (September 2017 s.d April 2018). This study used a combination of exploratory research and explanatory research. Exploratory research aims to explore the phenomena of leadership factors that can improve the performance of tridarma for permanent lecturers at the Musi Charitas Catholic University Palembang. Explanatory research is to explain the relationship between research variables that are the influence of leadership variables on the performance of permanent lecturer of the Catholic University of Musi Palembang. Regression analysis was used to examine the influence of leadership on lecturer performance. The result of this research showed that the influence of leadership on lecturer performance was 52,5% while 47,5% of lecturer's performance variable was influenced by other variables outside of this research, including government policy variable, motivation, and lecturer personality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Lazada's website quality on Shophaholic teenagers' online purchasing decisions in Palembang and analyze the differences between male and female participants in online purchasing decisions in Palembang. Shopaholic is defined as a tendency to shop compulsively with a high enough frequency. Shopaholic lifestyle teenagers spend a lot of time shopping as a saturation remover, as their own satisfaction and more hanging out with people who have the same hobby in shopping. Shopping becomes a picture of consumptive behavior that is difficult to change. The positive impact as a stress reliever and to keep up with the times. While the negative impact is the formation of consumptive, wasteful, and addictive behavior. This study uses a combination of exploratory research and explanatory research. Exploratory research aims to explore the phenomenon of male and female differences in shophaholic teenagers' online purchasing decisions in Palembang. Explanatory research to explain the relationship between research variables in this case the influence of Lazada's website quality on online shophaholic teen purchasing decisions in Palembang. This type of research is survey research. The data collection technique is a survey by distributing questionnaires developed from previous research. Population is Teenagers who live in Palembang and have shop online through the Lazada website. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with 138 respondents. Regression analysis is used to test the effect of Lazada's website quality on online purchasing decisions. The results showed that the influence of website quality lazada on shopaholic teenagers' online purchasing decisions was 73.6%, while 26.4% of purchasing decision variables were influenced by other variables outside of this study, including government policy variables, advertising socialization, and so on.

Abstract

The purpose of this reseach is to analyze the effect of Metrosexual Life Style to purchase?s decision of fashion. The population on this research are all of metrosexual man. Sample in this research using purposive sampling method, there are 50 metrosexual man. Data in this research are collected by questioner and analyze with a qualitative and quantitative method. Mean of clothes (3.85) is the highest than belt (3.74) and wallet (3.39). The result of this research shown that Activity (X1), Interest (X2) and Opinion (X3) of metrosexual man, simultantly and partially influence the purchase?s decision of fashion.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Yayasan Baitussalam Jabon Sidoarjo adalah bidang produksi, manajeman usaha dan pemasaran. Hal ini karena hasil produksi kudapan menurun. Menurunnya hasil produksi karena manajeman usaha dan pemasaran yang masih bersifat tradisonal. Minimnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan, manajeman usaha dan pemasaran serta tidak memadainya alat produksi. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi pembelian alat produksi dan pelatihan managemen dan pemasaran. Hasil yag dicapai adalah pembelian alat produksi kudapan dan pelatihan. Pembelian alat produksi kudapan  terdiri atas mesin pembuat roti, mesin pencetak mie, mesin pengaduk bumbu, alat penggorengan dan kompor. Pelatihan terdiri atas pelatihan pembukuan dan e-market.  Tiga bulan setelah dilakukan proses produksi yang menggunakan alat 5 alat baru, usaha pembuatan kudapan oleh Yayasan Baitussalam Jabon Sidoarjo mengalami peningkatan produksi 100%. Kenaikan produksi berpengaruh pada peningkatan sumber dana  Yayasan Baitussalam Jabon Sidoarjo. Hal ini sangat bermanfaat bagi kelangsungan proses pembelajaran anak anak didik. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan adalah perlunya peningkatan produksi lanjutan melalui pembelian alat produksi packing dan upaya legatitas HAKI
