Abstract

Abstract: ANC is the medical care of pregnant women performed by trained specialists in accordance with the criteria. The coverage of ANC visits by pregnant women to health workers is based on the Ministry of Health standard which has been set at a minimum of 6 times. Pregnant women at Puskesmas Mijen II Demak Regency do not regularly perform ANC and respondents know that ANC visits during pregnancy are important but are not carried out regularly and reasoned lazy, work, no complaints, and lack of economy. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about ANC with ANC visits at the Mijen II Health Center, Demak Regency. The type of research used was quantitative analytic design with a cross sectional approach. The sample in the study was 39 respondents through purposive sampling technique. Chi Square test was used as data analysis in the study. The results showed there was no relationship between knowledge (p value: 0.176) and attitudes of pregnant women (p value: 0.060) towards ANC visits. It is recommended for pregnant women to conduct ANC visits according to the KEMENKES standard recommendations at least 6 times, namely 2 times at the doctor and 4 times at the midwife to prevent and find out the occurrence of complications early so that it can reduce AKI and AKB in Indonesia.Keywords: ANC, Knowledge, Attitude

Abstract

Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) memperkirakan prevalensi balita stunting secara global mencapai 22 persen atau sekitar 149,2 juta anak pada tahun 2020. Penurunan angka stunting dunia juga terpengaruh oleh pandemi. Stunting pada balita dapat berdampak pada tingkat kecerdasan yang kurang optimal, meningkatkan kerentanan terhadap penyakit, dan mengurangi produktivitas di masa depan. Sebagai upaya pencegahan, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat diadakan di Kantor Desa Lapeo pada 23 Agustus 2023. Sebanyak 10 ibu hamil berpartisipasi dalam penyuluhan gizi ibu hamil untuk mencegah stunting. Ibu-ibu hamil mendengarkan penyuluhan dengan antusias, yang disampaikan oleh tenaga kesehatan berpengalaman. Sebelum penyuluhan, banyak dari mereka belum memahami pentingnya gizi selama kehamilan. Namun, setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, mereka lebih memahami pentingnya asupan gizi yang tepat, terbukti dari kemampuan mereka menjawab pertanyaan yang diajukan selama kegiatan. Edukasi ini dilakukan sebagai respons terhadap tingginya angka stunting di Polewali Mandar, khususnya di Campalagian pada tahun 2023. Penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang gizi pada ibu hamil dan persiapan persalinan guna mengurangi risiko stunting pada anak.

Abstract

One of the compulsory courses in the midwife curriculum is the INC course or Maternity care, where this course is a subject that combines theory and practicum, based on the syllabus where the course consists of 5 credits divided into 3 practical credits and 2 theoretical credits, because there was a change in the learning process due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning system was carried out during/online which had an impact on the GPA obtained by students and also had an impact on the results of the national competency exam, this can be seen from the decrease in GPA scores and graduation during the pandemic.The aim of this research was to find out the factors that cause a decrease in the value of the INC course on the graduation D3 Midwifery students. The method in this study was retrospective with a crosssectional study design to reveal a causal relationship. There were 69 female students who had not passed the Competency Test as Subjects in the D3 Midwifery study. Analysis to see the relationship used the Chi-Square test. The results of the study found a relationship between learning methods (p-value 0,05 <0,042), learning network (p-value 0,05<0,003)and learning location (p-value 0,05 <0,031)with the value of Intranatal Care to pass the competency test for D3 Midwifery STIKES Bina Generasi Polewali Mandar students. Conclusion, there is a relationship between learned networks, learned methods, learned location are a relationship between learned networks, learned methods, learned location.
