Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam memecahkan masalah biologi pada materi kindom plantae (2) Menganalisis kemampuan siswa dalam menyusun peta konsep siswa pada materi kindom plantae (3) Mengalisis pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam penyusunan peta kinsep pada materi kindom plantae. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen (experimental research) dengan desain penelitian Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan kemampuan menyusun peta konsep siswa, dengan instrumen berupa soal tes objektif bentuk pilihan ganda dan peta konsep standar. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah t-test dan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: (1) Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa melalui penerapan model berbasis masalah lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Kemampuan menyusun peta konsep siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa berpengaruh  sedang terhadap kemampuan menyusun peta konsep melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Kata kunci : Model Pembelajaran berbasis masalah, berpikir kreatif, peta konsep

Abstract

The study of starch seeds durian (Durio zibethinus) effect as the filler material on tensile strength and biodegradation of polymers polystyrene (PS)  has been done. In this study, the sample was made with 5 variations of Polystyrene:Starch:glycerol as follows:(95:0:5; 90:5:5; 85:10:5; 80:15:5 and 75:20:5) %. The samples were made using the hotpress machine and the ASTM D368 standard. The mechanical properties (tensile strength) were tested using a tensile tester. The testing for functional groups were using FT-IR. The surface morphology was obtained by AFM and biodegradation through burial the samples for 40 days (time of observation 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 weeks). As the results showed that the tensile strength values are influenced by variations in the composition of composite materials. The optimum tensile strength values were obtained on samples of PS-2 (90% of PS: 5% of Starch: 5% of glycerol) with a tensile strength value of 0.55 kgf / mm². Based on the analysis of functional groups, it was found that there is no chemical reaction, which is characterized by the emergence of new functional groups on the composite sample. The surface morphology observation showed that the variation does not affect the relative composition of the surface morphology of the samples. Biodegradation test results showed that the samples of PS-4 and PS-5 began degraded after burial for 4 weeks.

Abstract

Meatballs  is a preferably  snack  food allcircles.  Meatballs  had interesting  a spherical shape and  savory flavor. This research  aims to determine the acceptability test and  iodine content and crude fiber of modified meatballs with Seaweed flour and tapioca flour. This  experimen  designt  was  completely  randomized  design  with  of  two  factors  are Seaweed flour and tapioca flour with composition of 30%:10%, 20%:20%, 10%:30%.  Test acceptability  meatballs modified Seaweed flour and tapioca flour  30  students people of the Faculty  of  public  health  University  North  Sumatera  and  nutrient  analysis  was  tested  in laboratory  of  industrial  research  and  standarization  Agency  Medan   and  Biochemistry Faculty Mathematics and Natural Sciences.The  results  organoleptic  test  based  on  color,  aroma,  flavor,  and  texture  meatballs showed  the  most  preferred  are  meatballs  mixture  of  seaweed  flour  20%  and  tapioca  flour 20%. The result of nutrional content analysis showed that three treatments has content ofiodine 74,03 mg/kg, 49,79 mg/kg, 26,11 mg/kg and crude fiber 9,7%, 7,4%, 3,4%.Then  suggested  so  that  citizen  can  be  meatballs  modified  with  seaweed  flour  and tapioca flour as a food alternatives because it contains iodine and crude fiber required the body.Keywords:  Meatballs,  Seaweed  flour,  Tapioca  flour,  Acceptability  test,  Nutrient composition
