Abstract

This study aims to determine how the health of Sharia Commercial Banks using RGEC method. Data analysis technique used in this research is RGEC method and financial statement analysis. The type of qualitative descriptive research with quantitative data. The assessment factors on RGEC method are: risk profile using measurement indicators on credit risk factor (NPF) and liquidity risk (FDR), good corporate governance using data that has been processed and obtained from each sharia bank (self-assessment result), earnings using measurement indicators on ROA, NIM, ROE, and BOPO, capital using measurement indicators on CAR. The results of this study indicate that banks that have healthy health status in 2014 to 2016 are BCA Syariah and BNI Syariah. While banks that are in fairly healthy condition consistently period 2014 until 2016 is Bank Muamalat and Bank Victoria Sharia. While other banks the level of health is quite volatile ie in a healthy and quite healthy.

Abstract

Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Kota Yogyakarta merupakan salah satuorganisasi pengelola zakat yang sedang mengalami perkembangan pesat,akan tetapi hal tersebut belum cukup dijadikan ukuran bahwa kinerjaorganisasi ini sudah optimal. Six Sigma muncul sebagai metode perbaikanyang populer karena berfokus pada output organisasi yang penting bagipelanggan sekaligus menjustifikasi perbaikan dengan menunjukkanpeningkatan produktivitas dan kualitas yang jelas bagi organisasi. Jenis penelitian ini disebut dengan mixed methods research, populasipenelitian ini adalah seluruh pelanggan (muzakki dan mustahiq) BAZNASKota Yogyakarta yang aktif pada tahun 2013 berjumlah 1300, sedangkansampel yang diambil adalah 130 responden. Data kuantitatif penelitiandiperoleh melalui kuesioner servperf, sedangkan data kualitatif diperolehdengan wawancara kepada pihak pengelola (amil) BAZNAS KotaYogyakarta disertai dengan observasi dan dokumen dari lembaga.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan tingkatkepuasan muzakki dan mustahiq terhadap kinerja layanan zakat padapengukuran servperf rata-ratanya adalah 3,82 artinya secara keseluruhankinerja layanan zakat BAZNAS Kota Yogyakarta sebesar 76,44% danmasih memberikan peluang munculnya ketidakpuasan muzakki danmustahiq terhadap kinerja layanan tersebut sebesar 23,56%. Pada fasemeasure menunjukkan bahwa kinerja layanan zakat di BAZNAS KotaYogyakarta berada pada level 2,22 sigma, artinyakualitas organisasi inidikategorikan kurang baik dan masih belum menunjukkan kinerja layananyang maksimal.Kata Kunci:six sigma, kinerja layanan, BAZNAS Kota Yogyakarta

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the strategies used by English teachers in Class Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Belitang II Vocational School Ogan Komering Ulu Timur. This research investigates the strategies teachers use in their teaching activities. This is caused by the use of old and traditional strategies that teachers usually apply in their daily activities. A qualitative approach was used in this research. The sample for this research was two English teachers. This research uses two data collection techniques: classroom observation and interviews. The findings show that the strategies used by teacher 1 to teach reading comprehension are Identifying the purpose of reading, reading aloud, Skimming, Scanning, Taking Notes, Highlighting, getting the main idea, Translating, Repeating, Analyzing Vocabulary and Summarizing. Meanwhile, the strategy used by teacher 2 is also similar to teacher 1, the difference lies in silent reading. Then the research question concerns students' responses to the strategies used by the teacher. The findings were that students responded positively to the English teacher's strategies even though they had several obstacles. Students participate in discussions and answer questions. Because the teacher points to the students one by one.

Abstract

This study aimed to enhance the speaking proficiency of students through the implementation of the role-play technique, employing Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research targeted the X-Ph grade students at SMK Jagakarsa during the 2023 academic year, comprising 38 students. The investigation unfolded over two cycles, each encompassing planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. Quantitative data, derived from pre-test and post-test results, were employed for analysis. The findings revealed a notable improvement in students' speaking abilities through the utilization of the role-play technique. The mean score for the pre-test was 67.21, which increased to 72.21 in post-test I and further to 78.52 in post-test II. This upward trend in scores indicated enhanced performance in the second cycle compared to the first. The percentage of students scoring above 75 points also exhibited growth, with 5 students (13.16%) surpassing this threshold in the pre-test, 16 students (42.11%) in post-test I, and 30 students (78.95%) in post-test II. Overall, the students demonstrated significant improvement in speaking ability, progressing from the initial meeting to subsequent sessions.
