Abstract

This research is constituted by the application of teaching early reading literacy impplemented in some schools across ex-residency Madiun. The teaching should implement character based teaching as an introduction into the ability of early reading literacy. That is carried out for various reasons, for example, the demands of the students’ parent, the demands of the furhter school level, commercial reasons, and so forth. This study implemented a combination of research methods. Initiated into content validity analysis or analysis of existing learning contents based on theory of study the effectiveness of learning, then combined with observations and school interviews and literature study,narrowing the findings to lead the new concept for early reading literacy learning. 40 Schools being randomly selected were used in this research in the ex-residency Madiun. These research findings illustrated the true condition about the application of early reading literacy learning in the field. Referring to the findings of questionnaires and interviews, the teaching of early reading literacy was delivered in additional learning program. This made it possible to avoid infringement of the government rules about unpermitted learning at that level. Besides, those were found the lack of some language components that allows the imperfectness of introduction and readiness of children to acquaint the language. Furthermore, it lacked involvement of children playing environment both at home and at school for learning outcome optimality. Finally those findings were used as a reference to create an integrated learning tools in the children’s playground in the form of teachers and parents’ guide.Keyword: Reading, Young learner preschool, Playing, and Environment.

Abstract

Abstract: Learning achievement is influenced by many factors. These factors include the environmentand motivation to learn. A good learning environment will motivate student learning so that the effect on learning achivement are good also. The learning environment includes family, school, and society environment. Motivationin learning is an important factor in encoureging students carry out learning activities. The higher learning motivation they have, the better learning achievement they get. The motivation to learn includes intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the the correlation learning environment and learning motivation with learning achievement of the Berlian Nusantara Midwifery Academy in Magetan. This study is qualitative non-experimental study by using cross sectional research method. The population are all third and forth semester students of “Berlian Nusantara” Midwifery Academy. There are 51 students. The sample collecting technique used in this study is total sampling technique. The instruments of this study are students’ grade point average (GPA) and questionnaire about learning environment and learning motivation. Validity test using product moment correlation and reliability using alpa cronbach test  had been done before the questionnaires were distributed to the students. There was no correlation between learning environment and learning motivation with learning achievement (ƿ : 0.085 > 0.05). However, from the double regression analysis result, the researcher gets regression coefficient result ƿ (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, those factors (environment and learning motivation) are significantly related to students’ learning achievement. Learning environment and learning motivation are closely related to students’ learning achievement. It is suggested for academic institution, family, and society to create a good learning environment in order to grow a high learning motivation. Consequently, those factors will also have a great influence in achieving high learning achievement.    Key words : Learning environment, learning motivation, learning achievement  Abstrak: Prestasi belajar dipengaruhi banyak faktor. Faktor tersebut antara lain lingkungan belajar dan motivasi belajar. Lingkungan belajar yang baik akan menumbuhkan motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa sehingga berpengaruh pada prestasi belajar yang baik pula. Lingkungan belajar meliputi lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah dan lingkungan masyarakat. Motivasi dalam belajar merupakan faktor penting dalam mendorong mahasiwa melaksanakan kegiatan belajar. Semakin tinggi motivasi belajar maka akan semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar yang diperoleh. Adapun motivasi belajar meliputi motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan lingkungan belajar dan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar pada mahasiswa Akademi kebidanan Berlian Nusantara Magetan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif non eksperimentaldengan metode penelitian “cross sectional”. Populasi semua mahasiswa semester III dan V Akademi Kebidanan Berlian Nusantara Magetan, yaitu sebanyak 51 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik “total sampling”. Instrumen berupa Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif dan kuesioner lingkungan belajar serta motivasi belajar. Pada kuesioner dilakukan tes validitas menggunakan rumus  korelasi product moment (ρ < 0,05) dan reliabilitas menggunkan rumus alpha cronbach (α ≥ 0,07) sebelum digunakan.  Tidak ada hubungan lingkungan belajar dan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar (ρ : 0,085 > 0,05). Namun dari hasil analisis regresi berganda diperoleh nilai koefisiensi regresi ρ (0,000) < 0,05 sehingga faktor-faktor (lingkungan belajar dan motivasi belajar) berhubungan signifikan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Lingkungan belajar dan motivasi belajar sebenarnya sangat berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Disarankan bagi institusi pendidikan, keluarga dan masyarakat untuk mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang baik sehingga menumbuhkan motivasi belajar yang tinggi. Sehingga faktor-faktor tersebut mampu berpengaruh pada perolehan prestasi belajar yang tinggi pula.Kata Kunci : lingkungan belajar, motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar

Abstract

STATUS NUTRISI BERPENGARUH TERHADAP KUANTITAS TIDUR PADA LANSIA Sunardi Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan, Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah 65145e-mail: sunardinadhif@yahoo.co.id ABSTRAK Umur harapan hidup penduduk Indonesia mencapai 65,1 tahun, dan berakibat peningkatan jumlah penduduk lanjut usia 8,48%. Status nutrisi lanjut usia semakin menurun seiring dengan degenerasi fungsi organ akibat proses menua. Kuantitas tidur lanjut usia mengalami perubahan akibat episode tidur REM  cenderung memendek, terjadi penurunan yang progresif pada tahap tidur NREM 3 dan 4, lebih sering terbangun di malam hari, dan membutuhkan banyak waktu untuk jatuh tertidur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah discriptive correlation dengan pendekatan cross sectional study untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status nutrisi dan kuantitas tidur pada lanjut usia. Pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling terhadap 35 lanjut usia yang tinggal di Panti Werdha “x” sesuai kriteria telah ditentukan oleh peneliti. Status nutrisi lanjut usia diukur dengan observasi MNA dan kuantitas tidur dengan kuisioner dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis dengan koefisien korelasi Spearman Rho. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tingkat signifikasi hubungan antara variabel status nutrisi dan kuantitas tidur pada lanjut usia adalah 0,01 sehingga p value < 0.05, artinya H 0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan analisis adalah: ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara status nutrisi dan kuantitas tidur pada lanjut usia di panti werdha “X”. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya adalah menindaklanjuti penelitian dengan metode komparasi, tehnik random sampling. Pada Panti Werdha seyogyanya melakukan skrining terhadap status nutrisi dan kuantitas tidur pada lanjut usia. Kata kunci: Status nutrisi , kuantitas tidur, lanjut usia   ABSTRACT Indonesian’s life expectancy age is 65,1 years old, and this causes on increasing population of elderly approximately 8,48%. However, elderly nutrition status is getting decrease along their organ function degeneration, which is caused by aging process. Sleep quantity on elderly is changing because of short stage REM. There is also progressive decreasing on stage III and IV NREM, easily wake up in the middle of the night and they need more times to go sleep. This research method is descriptive correlation using cross sectional study approach in order to analyze correlation between nutrition statuses and sleep quantity on elderly. Samples are taken by purposive sampling  method is 35 elderly peoples who lives in nursing home “X” according to researcher’s criteria. Nutrition status observed with MNA and sleep quantity is measured by using questioners and interview, then it analyzed with Rho Spearman coefficient correlation. Significance rate that correlate between nutrition status variable and sleep quantity elderly is 0,01, there for p value < 0,05, it means that Ho is refused and H1 is accepted. There is a significance correlation between nutrition status and sleep quantity on elderly in Nursing Home “X”. To make further follow up this research using comparative study and random sampling technique for next researcher. For nursing home, I suggest that they doing screening on nutrition status and sleep quantity on elderly. Keywords: Nutrition status, Sleep quantity, Elderly

Anak-anak usia sekolahmempunyai kebiasaan kurang memperhatikan perlunya cuci tangan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari,terutama ketika di lingkungan sekolah. Perilaku tersebut tentunya berpengaruh dan dapatmemberikan kontribusi dalam terjadinya penyakit diare. Cuci tangan merupakan tehnik dasar yangpaling penting dalam pencegahan dan pengontrolan penularan infeksi. Penelitian ini adalahanalisis korelasi. Subyek penelitian anak usia sekolah di kabupaten Malang dengan teknik clustersampling yaitu sebesar 300 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik spearman. Hasilpenelitian perilaku cuci tangan pada anak usia sekolah di Kabupaten Malang pada kategori baik(53,7 %), cukup (41,7 %) dan kurang baik (4, 6 %). Sedangkan insidensi diare pada anak usiasekolah di Kabupaten Malang dalam kategori rendah (59,3 %), sedang (37,7 %) dan tinggi (3 %).Hubungan antara perilaku cuci tangan dan insiden diare diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 yang lebih kecildari 0,05 dan r = 0,792, maka secara statistik membuktikan ada hubungan yang signifikan antaraperilaku cuci tangan dan insiden diare.Kata kunci: Cuci tangan, perilaku, diare, anak sekolah dasarABSTRACTHand washing behavior considered unimportant thing in community, whereas hand washing cancontribute to improve the health status of the community. School-age children have paying lessattention habit to the need for hand washing in everyday, especially when in the schoolenvironment. The behavior could effect and contribute to the occurrence of diarrhea disease.Hand washing is the most important fundamental technique in the prevention and control ofinfection transmission. This study was the correlation analysis. Research subject are school agechildren in Malang with cluster sampling technique that is equal to 300 respondents. Dataanalysis is using Spearman. The results of school age children hand washing behavior in Malangare in good categories ( 53.7 % ), moderate ( 41.7 % ) and poorly ( 4 , 6 % ) . While the incidenceof diarrhea in children of school age in Malang in the low category (59.3 % ), moderate ( 37.7 % )and high ( 3 % ) . Relationship between hand washing and diarrhea incidence obtained p value =0.000 is smaller than 0.05 and r = 0.792 , statistically it proves that there was a significantrelationship between the incidence of diarrhea and hand washing.Keywords: Hand washing, behaviour, diarrheae, school-age children

Abstract

ANALISIS PERILAKU CARING PERAWAT PELAKSANA (Caring Behavior Analysis of Associate Nurses)SunardiProgram Studi Ilmu Keperawatan, Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang  Malang 65145, Indonesiae-mail. sunardinadhif@yahoo.co.idABSTRAKPerilaku  caring  perawat menjadi inti dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan pada pasien. Perawat sering mendapat kritikan terjadinya perilaku yang masih belum dekat dengan pasien, kurang responsive terhadap permasalahan pasien dan berbagai stikma negative lainnya. Peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana level perilaku caring perawat pelaksana di rumah sakit. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskripif  kuantitatif. Pengukuran perilaku caring dengan observasi sistematik terhadap 77 perawat pelaksana, diambil secara propotional simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan level perilaku caring perawat pelaksana RSWH sebesar 83.6%. Rekomendasi pada peneliti lain sebaiknya melakukan evaluasi apakah level caring yang sudah dicapai sudah menggambarkan karakter caring perawat. Penelitian selanjutnya harus mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku caring sebagai bahan melakukan perbaikan terhadap perilaku caring perawat. Kata kunci : Perilaku caring perawatABSTRACTCaring behavior of nursing was nuclear care to patient. Nurse always get critical as negative sticma was not caring to patient and not responsive with problem patient. Resercher would knew level of caring nursing in hospital. Desain thos research was descriptive quantitative. Level of caring parameter with obsevasi systematic to 77 nursing that got propotional simple random sampling. Result thos research level caring nurse in RSWH was 83,6%. Outcome to researcher was real behavior of nursing. Reseacher must indentify of factor related to caring behavior as recomeded improve service in hospital. Key words:  Caring behavior of nursing
