Abstract

Berbagai software reference manager yang bisa dimanfaatkan dalam menunjang penulis dalam  menyusun sebuah artikel salah satunya adalah Mendeley. Mendeley merupakan piranti lunak yang memiliki kemampuan dalam mengolah database ilmiah berupa e-book, e-journal, dan referensi lainnya. Mendeley berfungsi sebagai library yang disertai dengan kemampuan sebagai pengolah daftar pustaka dalam penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui aplikasi zoom meeting. Kegiatan ini dihadiri sebanyak 17 peserta yang semuanya merupakan mahasiswa pendidian geografi Universitas Nusa Cendana. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu tahapan pra-pengabdian masyarakat, kedua tahapan pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat dan ketiga tahap tindak lanjut atas pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil feedback dari peserta diketahui bahwa semua peserta mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi mereka terutama dalam penyusunan tugas akhir.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the supporting components of learning. Learning media has the benefit of increasing students 'interest and interactive, besides that learning media also influences students' interest in learning. The media used should follow the current development of science and technology. This research aims to (1) produce infographic poster learning media, (2) determine the feasibility of infographic poster-based learning media. The making of this infographic poster learning media uses the Borg & Gall development model which consists of ten manufacturing steps. Making this learning media using a support application, namely CANVA. The development of this learning media produces a product that is an infographic poster. Based on the results of media development,infographic media is appropriate to be used a geography based learning media; (a) The results of the validation of the material experts get a percentage of eligibility 73% with eligibility criteria, (b) The results of the validation of media experts get a percentage of eligibility 98.18% with very decent criteria, (c) The results of the user trial (teacher + student) get a percentage of feasibility 83.16% with very decent criteria. Based on the results of the validation of material and media experts as well as the results of user trials it can be concluded that the infographic poster learning media is feasible to be used as a medium for learning geography.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was carried out at SDN 013 Kecamarinda Samarinda City, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province on May 7, 2024, which was attended by 30 students. The purpose this activities is to provide environmental literacy assistance in order to improve the disaster response ability of SDN 013 Samarinda Kota students. This mentoring activity is carried out through socialization and counseling methods with varied lecture strategies and through the delivery of disaster materials (especially flood disasters) and simple games. Based on the results of the activity, 83% of students said they could understand the material well and 89% of teachers answered that PKM activities were very helpful in implementing an understanding of the environment at school. The conclusion of this service activity is that it is carried out well in accordance with the expectations of the service team and the participants, where students are able to implement an understanding of environmental literacy on disaster response skills in schools and surrounding areas
