Abstract

The number of accidents that occurred in Jember Regency during the last 5 (five) years has decreased, although in some years there has been an increase and caused the number of fatalities (death, serious injuries, minor injuries) to increase every year. From the data obtained, it can be seen that one of the roads that often has accidents is the Hayam Wuruk road. Traffic flow and speed conditions on the Hayam Wuruk road are quite high due to its function as arterial roads and national roads, but the land use around these roads which includes shops, shopping centers, offices, and schools causes frequent conflicts and traffic problems. especially in the field of road safety, both driver safety and pedestrian safety. This study aims to increase the level of safety in traffic for both drivers and pedestrians on the Hayam Wuruk road, Jember Regency. This is carried out by observing and identifying the existing conditions along the Hayam Wuruk road including road performance conditions, traffic safety conditions and behavioral conditions for road users on these roads, so that handling proposals are obtained based on the results of data analysis that has been collected both primary and secondary data. secondary data. The results showed that the high number of accidents on the Hayam Wuruk road in Jember district was mostly caused by errors from human factors. Therefore, there is a need for a social approach in the form of increasing awareness and safety for drivers in the form of applying canalization on the leftmost lane to limit two-wheeled vehicles that interfere with traffic flow on the main road lane, making noise tape and installing speed limit signs to protect the safety and comfort of users.

Abstract

There has been a significant increase in transportation facilities in the city of Manado which has affected the level of traffic congestion to date and has resulted in very high social costs. Indirectly it affects the increase in traffic problems, one of which is traffic accidents. The purpose of this research is to find appropriate alternative solutions for the community to reduce accidents and make efforts to increase traffic safety in the city of Manado. This research was made using an exploratory quantitative research methodology with a triangulation model that examines phenomena based on the interpretation of descriptive statistical data, observation as well as documentation and field surveys. The results of the analysis show that there are 6 accident-prone road sections in Manado City, namely Jalan AA Maramis, Jalan Ring Road I, Jalan Sam Ratulangi, Jalan RW Monginsidi, Jalan Piere Tendean, and Jalan RE Martadinata. Adequate street light facilities are needed and there is a need to improve the lights so that they are not covered by vegetation on several roads, especially roads which are prone to accidents.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Even though the government has established the National General Plan for Road Traffic and Transportation Safety (RUNK LLAJ), questions about the effectiveness and performance measurement of this program still remain. Therefore, further research is needed to optimize traffic safety and road transportation in Indonesia. This study aims to determine how to measure the performance of the implementation of Traffic and Road Transportation safety in the National Scope, DKI Jakarta Province, and Sukoharjo Regency based on the criteria/indicators of the five Pillars and their action programs, as well as knowing the use of methods used in measuring the performance of their implementation. This research was conducted by direct observation in the field using a data collection tool in a questionnaire and analyzed using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) and Rating Scale methods. ANP is used to determine the weighting, and the Rating Scale is used to score the performance questionnaire. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it is known that the performance of the implementation of Traffic and Road Transportation safety in the National Scope is in the "GOOD" category, while in the Sukoharjo Regency, it is in the "VERY GOOD" category. Keywords: Analytic Network Process (ANP), Rating Scale, RUNK, Safety ABSTRAK Meski pemerintah telah menetapkan Rencana Umum Nasional Keselamatan Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan (RUNK LLAJ), pertanyaan tentang efektivitas dan pengukuran kinerja program ini masih ada. Oleh karena itu, penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan keselamatan lalu lintas dan angkutan jalan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengukur kinerja penyelenggaraan keselamatan Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan di Lingkup Nasional, Provinsi DKI Jakarta dan Kabupaten Sukoharjo berdasarkan kriteria/indikator lima Pilar dan program aksinya tersebut, serta mengetahui penggunaan metode yang digunakan dalam pengukuran kinerja penyelenggaraanya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi secara langsung di lapangan menggunakan alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner dan dianalisa menggunakan metode Analytic Network Process (ANP) dan Rating Scale. ANP digunakan untuk menentukan pembobotan dan Rating Scale digunakan untuk pemberian nilai kuesioner kinerja. Berdasarkan hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan diketahui kinerja penyelenggaraan keselamatan Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan pada lingkup Nasional adalah termasuk kategori “BAIK”, Sedangkan pada lingkup Kabupaten Sukoharjo termasuk kategori “SANGAT BAIK”. Abstract

One of the keys to smooth traffic flow in an area is characterized by optimal road and intersection performance. Planning or evaluating roads and intersections certainly requires existing data information, so storing data digitally will make subsequent handling activities easier. As technology is easy to use, it is very helpful in storing and presenting data. Geographic Information Systems present images, check, integrate, manipulate, analyze and display data that relates to the topographic conditions of the earth. The aim of this research is to conduct a spatial analysis of road and intersection performance in the CBD of Kudus Regency using ArcGIS. The data in this research includes primary data and secondary data. Primary data includes data on traffic volume, speed, capacity, V/C ratio, degree of saturation, segment length and service level. Meanwhile, secondary data is road network data. After data analysis, road and intersection performance data were synchronized with road network data using ArcGIS. The results of this research provide an information system related to road and intersection performance, making it easier to handle roads and intersections in the CBD Area of Kudus Regency. ABSTRAK Salah satu kunci lancarnya arus lalu lintas di sebuah wilayah ditandai dengan kinerja jalan dan simpang yang optimal. Perencanaan ataupun evaluasi jalan serta simpang tentu membutuhkan informasi data eksisting, sehingga penyimpanan data secara digital akan mempermudah kegiatan penanganan selanjutnya. Seiring mudahnya penggunaan teknologi, sangat membantu dalam penyimpanan dan penyajian data. Sistem Informasi Geografis menyajikan gambar, mengecek, mengintegrasikan, memanipulasi, menganalisan dan menampilkan data yang menghubungkan kepada kondisi topografi bumi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisis spasial kinerja jalan dan simpang di CBD Kabupaten Kudus menggunakan ArcGIS. Data pada penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Data Primer antara lain data volume lalu lintas, kecepatan, kapasitas, V/C rasio, derajat kejenuhan, panjang segmen dan tingkat pelayanan. Sedangkan data sekunder yaitu data jaringan jalan. Setelah dilakukan analisis data, kemudian data kinerja jalan dan simpang disinkrongkan dengan data jaringan jalan menggunakan ArcGIS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyajikan sistem informasi terkait kinerja jalan dan simpang, sehingga mempermudah dalam penanganan jalan dan simpang di Kawasan CBD Kabupaten Kudus.
