Abstract

Midwifery services are an effort to reduce maternal mortality. In Indonesia, there are still high obstetric complications due to the low number of ANC visits caused by pregnant women who are not satisfied with the services provided by midwives who provide services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the service quality of the assurance dimension and the behavior of midwives in ANC services. The research design used was correlational analytic with a cross sectional approach. The subjects studied were pregnant women in February – July as many as 30 respondents. The instruments used are questionnaires and check lists, data analysis using the Spearman rho test. The results of the study obtained was a relationship between the quality of service in the assurance dimension and the behavior of midwives in ANC services. The conclusion is that the better the quality of service, the better the behavior of the midwife. With many clients who are still not satisfied with ANC services at Polindes, it is necessary to improve the quality of services that must be provided to consumers in midwifery services by way of midwives being more active in participating in training and training.

Abstract

Abstrak : Coronavirus disesase 2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit yang sedang mewabah hampir di seluruh dunia saat ini. Protokol kesehatan merupakan upaya preventif untuk mencegah penularan virus COVID-19. Bidan merupakan salah satu tenaga kesehatan yang menjadi ujung tombak pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Pengetahuan bidan tentang protokol kesehatan sangat dibutuhkan sebab bidan mempunyai peranan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada keluarga dan masyarakat agar mendukung ibu hamil, ibu bersalin, ibu menyusui dan bayi baru lahir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan bidan tentang protokol kesehatan COVID-19 dalam memberikan pelayanan asuhan kebidanan. Desain penelitian menggunakan penelitian deskriptif. Populasi semua bidan di RSUD Kabupaten Kediri dan jumlah sampel 45 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner pengetahuan bidan tentang protokol kesehatan dalam memberikan asuhan pelayanan kebidanan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh Pengetahuan bidan tentang protokol kesehatan kategori cukup sebanyak 3 responden (6,7%). Pengetahuan bidan tentang protokol kesehatan kategori baik sebanyak 42 responden (93,3%). Pengetahuan bidan tentang protokol kesehatan berpengaruh pada pemberian pelayanan kepada klien yaitu bagaimana penularan COVID-19, tanda bahaya ibu hamil,bersalin, bayi baru lahir dan ibu nifas, tatalaksana, pencegahan infeksi serta edukasi kepada klien dan keluarga. Pengetahuan bidan yang baik mempengaruhi proses pemberian pelayanan kepada klien menjadi lebih baik juga. Kata Kunci : pengetahuan, bidan, protokol kesehatan Abstract : Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an outbreak all over the world. The health protocol is a preventive measure to avoid the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Midwives are one of the health workers who spearhead maternal and child health services. Knowledge of midwives about health protocols is important because the midwives have a role providing education for families and the community to support pregnant women, maternity mothers, breastfeeding mothers and newborn. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of midwives about the COVID-19 health protocol in providing midwifery care services. This is a descriptive study which involved population of all midwives in RSUD Kabupaten Kediri. The number of samples were 45 respondents which selected by total sampling technique and midwives’ knowledge is measured by questionnaire about health protocols in providing midwifery care. The results of this study obtained that there were 3 respondents in moderate knowledge (6.7%) and in the good category was 42 respondents (93.3%). The knowledge of midwives about health protocols affected to providing services for clients, namely how COVID-19 is transmitted, danger signs for pregnant women, childbirth, newborns and postpartum mothers, management, infection prevention and education for clients and families. The good knowledge of midwives affects the process of a better providing services for clients. Keywords : knowledge, midwives, health protocol
