Abstract

Abstract One indicator of community participation in the health sector is the coverage of children under five who come and are weighed at the posyandu (D / S). Based on the 2018 Indonesian Health Profile, D / S coverage for toddlers in Indonesia is 67.48%. Some of the factors causing the lack of maternal visits to the posyandu were the mothers' lack of knowledge, the distance to the Posyandu, the role of cadres and family support. Of this study was to determine the factors that influence the participation of mothers in weighing children under five in the working area of ??Pardamean Health Center, Pematangsiantar City. This research method is an analytic study with cross-sectional design with 108 respondents by purposive sampling. The subject is the mother of the toddler who meets the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Primary data were collected in the Pardamean Puskesmas area on 12th - 10th . Based on the statistical test of 108 mothers of children under five, there were still 41 mothers who did not participate in weighing children under five by 38%. The results of the chi square analysis show that the relationship between maternal knowledge and maternal participation in weighing children under five is obtained by the p value = 0.000 (p <0.05), the relationship between Posyandu distance and maternal participation in weighing children under five is obtained by the p value = 0.002 (p <0.05) , the correlation between the role of cadres and the participation of mothers in weighing children under five, is obtained by the p value = 0.000 (p <0.05), the relationship between family support and the participation of mothers in weighing children under five is obtained by the p value = 0.017 (p <0.05). That there is a relationship between maternal knowledge, Posyandu distance, the role of cadres and family support in weighing toddlers in the working area of ??Pardamean Health Center, Pematangsiantar City. Abstract

Latar belakang : Kekurangan vitamin A diperkirakan menyebabkan 250 juta anak prasekolahmengalami kebutaan dan separuh anak meninggal dalam waktu 12 bulan, serta meningkatkan resikokematian ibu. Ubi jalar dan jantung pisang mengandung banyak nutrisi yang baik bagi kesehatan dansumber vitamin A. Tujuan Peneliti adalah untuk mengetahui minat keluarga dan masyarakat terhadapcookies ubi jalar kuning (Ipomea Batatas L) dengan penambahan jantung pisang (Musa Paradisiaca).Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak lengkap. Sampel dalam penelitian iniadalah cookies ubi jalar kuning (Ipomea Batatas L) dengan penambahan jantung pisang (MusaParadisiaca). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh mutu fisik cookies terhadap warna, tekstur,rasa, aroma, mutu hedonik warna, cookies. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan ada pengaruh mutuhedonik cookies terhadap rasa dan aroma cookies. Hasil ini menyimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan ujiorganoleptic dari penilaian uji hedonic warna, tekstur,rasa dan aroma yaitu cookies F2 denganperbandingan (tepung terigu 20% : ubi jalar kuning 75% : tepung jantung pisang 5%) paling disukaidan terpilih menjadi yang terbaik. Kadar kandungan gizi cookies terbaik adalah kadar air 7,74% ,lemak 35,05% , serat 2,10% , karbohidrat 7,10% , protein 6,30% , abu 4,0643% , dan betakaroten3,7454 mg/g. Disarankan bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar melakukan metode berbeda untuk melihatproduk dengan nilai gizi dan daya terima yang baik, serta melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut tentangpengaruh cookies terhadap penyakit degenerative.

Abstract

The current nutritional condition shows two extreme conditions, namely malnutrition and excess nutrition. Based on the initial survey conducted at SDN 071079 Mandrehe District, out of 10 students whose nutritional status was seen, 7 students were classified as overweight and 3 students had good nutritional status. The impact of nutritional problems is more visible with the increase in degenerative diseases, such as coronary heart disease, diabetes mellitus, hypertension and liver disease. To prevent this impact, efforts are needed to improve children's diet so that the type and amount of food intake is in accordance with needs. Objective Knowing the relationship between nutritional intake, breakfast and consumption of fast food with the nutritional status of school-age children at SDN 071079 Mandrehe District, West Nias Regency. Methods This type of research is analytic observational with a cross sectional study design. The sampling method in this study was using random sampling with a sample of 60 samples. Collecting data using questionnaires and interviews. The test used is the Spearman rank test. Results Research shows that the variables of nutritional intake, breakfast and consumption of fast food have a significant relationship with the variable nutritional status with a value of p = (<0.05). Conclusion  There is a relationship between nutritional intake, breakfast and fast food consumption with the nutritional status of school-age children at SDN 071079, Mandrehe District, West Nias Regency.Kondisi zat gizi saat ini menunjukkan dua hal kondisi yang ekstrem, yaitu kekurangan gizi dan kelebihan gizi. Berdasarkan survei awal yang dilakukan di SDN 071079 Kecamatan Mandrehe, dari 10 siswa yang dilihat status gizinya terdapat 7 siswa tergolong status gizi lebih dan 3 siswa status gizi baik. Dampak masalah gizi lebih tampak dengan semakin meningkatnya penyakit degeneratif, seperti jantung coroner, diabetes mellitus, hipertensi dan penyakit hati. Untuk mencegah dampak ini perlu usaha dalam memperbaiki pola makan anak agar jenis dan jumlah asupan makan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Tujuan Mengetahui hubungan antara asupan gizi, sarapan pagi dan konsumsi fast food dengan status gizi anak usia sekolah di SDN 071079 Kecamatan Mandrehe Kabupaten Nias Barat. Metode Jenis penelitian yaitu observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional study. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan random sampling dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 sampel. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Uji yang digunakan yaitu uji rank spearman. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan variabel asupan gizi, sarapan pagi dan konsumsi fast food memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan variabel status gizi dengan nilai p = (<0,05). Kesimpulan Ada hubungan asupan gizi, sarapan pagi dan konsumsi fast food dengan status gizi anak usia sekolah di SDN 071079 Kecamatan Mandrehe Kabupaten Nias Barat.

Abstract

The highest TB morbidity and mortality rates are in developing countries, including Indonesia. WHO hopes that TB research conducted in all countries can provide scientific evidence that it is important for all TB patients to be assessed for nutritional status and given nutritional counseling in all health facilities and the need to set operational standards in the treatment of malnutrition due to TB. The aimed of this study was to determine the effect of nutritional counseling on knowledge of carbohydrate, protein, vitamin A and zinc intakes in pulmonary TB patients at Unit Pulmonary Hospital of North Sumatra Province. This research was carried out at Special Pulmonary Hospital, North Sumatra Province. It was conducted in August - September 2021. This research was a Quasi Experimental study with One Group Pre and Post test Design. The population were all outpatient pulmonary TB patients with positive smear sputum in the DOTS poly in Unit Pulmonary Hospital of North Sumatra Province and the sample was 60 people who met the inclusion criteria. Obtained are that through the statistical tests, showed that the counseling carried out had a significant effect on increasing knowledge (p=0.000), carbohydrate intake (p=0.001), protein intake (p=0.000), vitamin A intake (p=0.000) and zinc mineral intake (p=0.000). It is hoped that this study can provide information for pulmonary TB patients about nutritional counseling in changing the intake of good nutrients to accelerate healing and suppress transmission of pulmonary TB.

Abstract

Gizi merupakan salah satu faktor utama penentu kualitas hidup dan sumber daya manusia. Status gizi baik apabila tubuh memperoleh zat-zat gizi yang seimbang dalam jumlah yang cukup. World Health Organization (WHO) telah merekomendasikan menu gizi seimbang pada masa pandemi COVID-19, artinya disetiap menu makanan harus mencakup gizi yang lengkap, baik itu makronutrien seperti karbohidrat, protein, lemak, serta mikronutrien dari vitamin dan mineral. Pandemi COVID-19 memaksa anak-anak untuk menjaga jarak dan selalu menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Kondisi tersebut secara otomatis akan membuat anak memiliki gaya hidup sendiri dan berisiko mengalami masalah gizi akibat kurangnya kegiatan dan aktivitas fisik. Kesehatan  individu  perlu  dikembangkan mulai  dari  usia  dini  bagi  anak-anak khususnya pada  usia  sekolah  dasar. Adapun tujuan dari dilakukannya pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan tentang gizi seimbang pada anak sekolah dasar serta memberikan edukasi tentang pentingnya gizi seimbang anak sekolah dasar pada masa pandemi COVID-19 agar anak-anak mengetahui apa itu gizi seimbang dan bagaimana cara konsumsi makanan yang baik selama pandemi COVID-19. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Perguruan Swasta Advent 4 Medan, edukasi diberikan pada anak-anak Sekolah Dasar (SD) dengan jumlah sebanyak 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan melalui ceramah dan memberikan leaflet berisi materi edukasi pada peserta kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi penyuluhan yang didapatkan yaitu peserta mengetahui apa itu gizi seimbang dan memahami bagaimana gizi seimbang untuk konsumsi sehari-hari.
