Abstract

The objectives of this research were to know the description about the correlation between the muscle’s strength arm and leg with 25 meters crawlstroke swimming’s achievement towards physical and health education students 2012 generation in 2012/2013. The method of this research used correlational descriptive. The population of this research was 20 students and the whole sample was male. The research used a whole of population as the sample. The instrument which is used pull and push strength test, leg strength test, and 25 meters swimming test, and to analyzed the data, the research used product moment and double correlation. The result of research there is a significant correlation between the muscle’s strength arm and leg with free style swimming with a contribution of 41.86%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran jelas tentang hubungan kekuatan otot lengan dan tungkai dengan prestasi renang 25 meter gaya bebas pada mahasiswa Penjaskes angkatan 2012 tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dekriptif korelasional, dengan populasi yang berjumlah 20 orang, dan semua populasi adalah mahasiswa laki-laki, sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh jumlah dari populasi yaitu 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan tes kekuatan otot lengan (pull and push strenght test), tes kekuatan otot tungkai (leg strenght test), dan tes renang 25 meter, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian yaitu ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan dan kekuatan otot tungkai terhadap renang gaya bebas dengan kontribusi sebesar 41,86 %.Kata kunci: hubungan, kekuatan otot, renang gaya bebas

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of inquiry learning models with visual media on PJOK subject. One of the materials in PJOK subject is on healthy, nutritious and balanced diets. The method that is used in this research is Qualitative Research which is a literature study, in which the data are collected from various related literatures. The data collecting technique in this research uses literature study technique. The stages of the research are conducted from collecting the articles, article reduction, discussion and conclusion. The data sources of the research are articles of national and international journals. The obtained data are analyzed and centralized efficiently and basically further will be described. Based on some researches that have been analyzed, it can be concluded that the inquiry learning models can improve the student learning development on PJOK subject on the material of healthy, nutritious and balanced diets. The result of literature study shows that the inquiry learning models can support the learning activeness, improve the scientific thinking of the students, and also can improve the learning outcomes.
