Abstract

This study aims to determine the forms and rules of formation the Covid-19 Pandemic term in Arabic from the morphological aspect. The type of this research is library research, which conducted by reviewing and analyzing library data sources. The data of the research are Arabic terms of COVID-19 taken from Dictionary of Covid-19 Term (English-French-Arabic) which published by Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). The results of this study indicate the form of Covid-19 Pandemic terms in Arabic which consists of words and phrases. The word form consists of nouns and verbs, both in the form of root words and affixes. The form of the phrase consists of tarkib idhafi, verbal phrases, noun phrases, jar majrur, and tarkib washfi. There are 46 (24%) word form and 146 (76%) phrase form. The process of forming COVID-19 terms in Arabic using several methods, there are: a) Neology by derivation, which consists of: masdar, isim fa'il, isim maf'ūl, isim alat, and Sighat al-Mubalaghah. b) Neology by arabizing foreign vocabulary or absorption, and c) Neology by translating foreign vocabulary into Arabic. Based on the research, there are 25 (52%) masdar words, 5 (10%) isim fa’il words, 2 (4%) isim alat words, 1 (2%) sighat al-mubalaghah word, 2 (4%) isim maf’ul words, 6 (13%) absorption words, 7 (15%) translation words  about COVID-19 term in Arabic.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of audio-visual media on the Arabic language skills of fifth grade students of MI Muhammadiyah Gembuk 1. This study used quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach using three requirements, namely controlling, manipulating, and observing activities. The research activity was carried out in class V MI Muhammadiyah Gembuk 1, with a sample of 10 students. The study was conducted from February to March 2022. The results showed that: (1) there was no significant difference between students who took lessons using audio media and students who took listening lessons, with the same score as Asymp.Sig.(- 2tailed) on the use of audio-visual media is 0.000 <0.05 and Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 in listening learning. (2) there is a significant difference between students who take part in learning using audio-visual media and students who take part in listening lessons, with the acquisition of the N-gain value on the use of audio-visual media is 0.310, while the value of 0.242 in listening learning. (3) Audio-visual media is effectively used in learning Arabic, especially in special skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada kemahiran berbicara (maharah kalam) mahasiswa semester 1 program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA), Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), Ekonomi Syari’ah (ESy), dan Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam (PMI) Institut Studi Islam Muhammadiyah Pacitan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field reseach) dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi project-based learning dengan media youtube pada keterampilan berbicara bahasa arab berbasis proyek dilakukan melalui project-based learning dengan tahapan penentuan topik, kegiatan prakomunikatif, menyiapkan pertanyaan arahan, mendesain perencanaan proyek, penyusunan jadwal pelaksanaan proyek, pelaksanaan proyek, pengujian hasil, dan refleksi.

Abstract

As an archipelago with a strategic area, Indonesia has a variety of potentials and is also prone to risks of disaster. The natural phenomena outlined should be understood by humans as Allah's representatives (khalifah) in prospering and managing the earth. Sheikh Nawawi Al-Bantani is one of the archipelago's scholars with multidimensional insights. His thoughts have been outlined in his books which consist of various fields. This paper tries to review Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani's thoughts on disasters. The writing of this article uses the library research method. The results of this research include: 1) the definition of disaster in the Qur'an, namely calamity, fitnah, and bala'. 2) Human efforts in managing disasters include two main things, namely through preventive action (prevention) and practical action or how to overcome when at some point humans are hit by a disaster which includes mitigation and preparedness for disasters, emergency response attitudes, recovery (recovery of conditions after a disaster). 3) The value of Islamic education in disasters includes spiritual dimensions, cognitive dimensions, social affective dimensions, and psychomotor dimensions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) mengetahui pembelajaran kosa kata bahasa Arab pada siswa sebelum menggunakan metode drill (2) mengetahui pembelajaran kosa kata bahasa Arab pada siswa setelah menggunakan metode drill (3) mengetahui efektivitas metode drill dalam pembelajaran kosa kata bahasa Arab. Pendekatan yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuasi. Eksperimen ini disebut juga eksperimen semu karena berkenaan dengan pengontrolan variabel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan model pretest-posttest control group design dengan satu macam perlakuan. Di dalam model ini sebelum dimulai perlakuan kedua kelompok diberi tes awal atau pretest untuk mengukur kondisi awal. Selanjutnya pada kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan (X) dan pada kelompok pembanding tidak diberi. Sesudah diberi perlakuan kedua kelompok diberi tes lagi sebagai posttest. Pada kelas eksperimen dilaksanakan pembelajaran dengan metode drill sedangkan pada kelas kontrol dilakukan dengan metode ceramah. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 05 Kalikunung. Hasil dari penelitian ini ada yaitu (1) pembelajaran kosa kata sebelum menggunakan metode drill siswa mendapat nilai rata-rata 46,67. nilai rata-rata 46,67 termasuk kategori nilai rendah karena di bawah angka 75,00. (2) Pembelajaran kosa kata setelah menggunakan metode drill siswa mendapat nilai minimun 44 dan nilai maximum 100. Dengan rata-rata 81,33. Peningkatan yang terjadi adalah sebesar 74,27%. (3) Metode drill efektif dalam pembelajaran kosa kata bahasa Arab pada siswa kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 05 Kalikuning berdasarkan pemerolehan nilai 0,6792 dan berdasarkan kreteria N-gain Skor dengan nilai 0,3 ? g ? 0,7 menunjukkan interprestasi sedang
