Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyelenggarakan Pendampingan Bahasa Inggris dengan memanfaatkan media word webs untuk pengetahuan kosakata bagi guru dan siswa di MI Miftahul Ulum Kemlagi Mojokerto yang memiliki muatan kurikulum lokal dalam bahasa Inggris. Media Word Webs yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini melalui gambar dan permainan. Para guru sangat menyambut baik pelatihan ini dengan harapan dapat memberikan yang terbaik bagi siswanya saat melaksanakan proses pembelajaran di kelas. The dedication to this community aims to organize English training using word webs for vocabulary knowledge for teachers and students at MI Miftahul Ulum Kemlagi Mojokerto who have a local curriculum load in English. Media Word Webs applied in this community's dedication with pictures and games. The teachers very much welcomed this training in the hope of delivering the best for the students as they conduct the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain data on the improvement of English reading comprehension skills through the SQ4R method for third grade students of MI Miftahus Sholah Mojokerto. The research subjects were third grade students in semester II of the 2022/2023 school year. This research was conducted using the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model which was carried out with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the research using the SQ4R method showed data obtained from the reading comprehension evaluation test of students who scored ≥ 75 in cycle I 55.55% and in cycle II obtained 83.33%. While monitoring teacher and student activities in cycle I the first meeting was 55% and the second meeting was 70%, while cycle II the first meeting was 85% and the second meeting was 90%. Thus reading comprehension with the SQ4R method can improve the reading comprehension skills of grade III students of MI Miftahus Sholah Mojokerto.

Abstract

Bullying is an act of violence committed by an individual or group to another person so that they suffer injuries that have a very serious impact both physically and psychologically. This activity was carried out on December 14, 2023 at schools in Kemlagi Village. This activity was carried out because of the many victims in the current era which are mostly carried out by students, therefore we hold educational counseling on the impact of bullying. This activity was carried out with the aim of fostering and preventing aggressive mindsets and attitudes. This activity was attended by 30 students.
