Abstract

Indonesia experienced a double burden in dealing with nutritional problems, under nutrition and over nutrition. Based on Riskesdas 2013, Central Java was one of 16 provinces that above the national under weight prevalence. Malnutrition and obesity in Semarang is still high. According to BPOM 2014, there were four types of most polluted snack in schools; cube ice, cold drinks, jelly, and meatballs. The foods were contaminated with microbes hazardous materials, and excessive food additives. The health promotion for student is very important to influence and motivate them to learn and understand nutrition information and it can use educational games. This Study aims to determine the effectiveness of web-based nutritional education games as a health promotional media of nutritional information for MI Nurul Islam students. This research was a pre-experimental study, with one group pre-post test design.The study populations were 30 students of MI Nurul Islam Semarang. Tha data was analyzed by Wilcoxon test. The average level of nutrition knowledge before playing the education game was 42.9, then increased to 66.3 after playing it. Educational game significantly influenced the level of students’ nutrition knowledge (p = 0.0001). Keywords: nutrition, educational game

Abstract

In order to reduce maternal mortality in Central Java, this Province has a superior program which is called 5Ng (Jateng Gayeng Nginceng Wong Meteng/Central Java Glad to See Pregnant Women). Implementation of childbirth assistance in Semarang and Kendal districts in order to reduce maternal mortality has its own model. Based on the preliminary survey, the maternal mortality rate in Semarang and Kendal regencies has decreased. This research aimed to explain the implementation of delivery assistance by midwives in the framework of accelerating reduction in maternal mortality. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical specifications. Research subjects were midwives in Semarang and Kendal Regencies. Data collection method was conducted by direct in-depth interview. Normal childbirth assistance in Semarang Regency is carried out at the Midwife Independent Practice, Village midwife practice, at the village public health center and public health center with delivery assistance of at least four hands (two midwives). In Kendal Regency normal delivery assistance is performed at first health facility.

Abstract

Fokus IbM ini adalah pendampingan pembentukan  Posyandu Lansia, meningkatkan kemampuan kader dalam  program kesehatan lansia di RW 9 Kelurahan Gondoriyo Kecamatan Ngaliyan  Kota Semarang. Upaya yang dilakukan antara lain: sosialisasi posyandu lansia,  pelatihan kader posyandu lansia, kegiatan posyandul lansia. Tujuan dari kegiatan IbM ini adalah membentuk posyandu lansia  dan  pendampingan kader posyandu lansia  untuk meningkatkan kesehatan lansia. Adanya  sinergi antara kader dan pelayanan kesehatan dalam upaya peningkatan kesehatan lansia di masyarakat. Metode pendampingan pembentukan posyandu lansia  dengan brain storming, ceramah tanya jawab menggunakan media lembar balik, dan curah pendapat. Diawali   penjajagan dengan membawa surat pengantar dari STIKES Widya Husada, Kesbanlinmas Kota Semarang, Puskesmas Ngaliyan, Bapermas Ngaliyan dan RW 09  Kelurahan Gondoriyo. Menyampaikan maksud tujuan kepada tokoh masyarakat serta meminta masukan terkait karakteristik keluarga yang memiliki lansia di RW 09  dan bekerja sama dengan Puskesmas Ngaliyan dalam mensinergikan program Posyandu Lansia. Kegiatan program 1) melatih kader tentang pembentukan Posyandu lansia. 2) mendampingi kegiatan Posyandu lansia  3) membantu mendeteksi dini adanya komplikasi penyakit pada lansia. Hasil kegiatan IBM ini  adalah terbentuknya Posyandu dan  berjalan rutin tiap bulan, terbentuknya struktur organisasi pengurus posyandu lansia, pelatihan kader posyandu lansia Kata kunci: Kader, , Lansia, Posyandu

Abstract

In 2019 heahth program in Semarang tend to increase, The partnership between health workers and health cadres is important. The performance of health cadres in the community has essence that cannot be released with health service. Methods descriptive analytic with cross-sectional. Population all health cadres in the Gondoriyo region. samples 68 respondents. primary data obtained through direct interviews using a structured questionnaire.Analysis using uni variate analysis, frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Spearman Rank test. Result, good knowledge level (73,5%) ,good level cadre performance ( 73,5%) health cadre knowledge is not related to cadre performance (p value = 0.883 and r = 0.089.
