Abstract

In Islamic religious education, teachers need to apply an appropriate and attractive learning model to increase student motivation and learning outcomes. Because there are various obstacles experienced by students, this research is important to do. This study aims to determine the use of the VAK learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Mambaunnur Gading Bululawang. In implementing learning activities, teachers use various learning models, one of which is the VAK (visual, auditory, kinetic) learning model. This Learning Model emphasizes direct learning experiences by maximizing the ability to remember visually (Visual), auditory (Auditory), and increase movement and emotion (kinetic). This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely cycle 1 and II. Each cycle is applied in one meeting. The implementation in each cycle uses four stages: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of this study indicate that the use of the VAK learning model influences student learning outcomes. The increase in yield was seen in every cycle from pre-action to cycle II. Students who scored above the minimum completeness criteria (75) in the pre-action activity were 18%; about 5 students out of 27 students. In the first cycle the results showed a percentage of 40%; 11 students out of 27 students managed to show improvement. Whereas in cycle II the success of the method reached 100%, in other words 27 students experienced an increase in learning in the field of eating and drinking manners.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to develop its potential to become skilled, intelligent, moral human beings, and can use their talents for themselves, society, nation, and state. This study aims to identify Islamic education in shaping civilized human character. The method used in this study is a qualitative method which produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people who can be observed. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. This research is qualitative research with a Historical-Phyosophical approach which aims to identify Islamic education in shaping human and civilized character. From the results of the study, it was concluded that, according to Adian Husaini, in shaping human and civilized character, namely character education given to Muslim students (in particular), character education must be based on monotheism and ta'dib. This will later distinguish between the character possessed by other nations, and the character possessed by the Indonesian nation, especially in the Muslim community.

Abstract

Ibn Taymiyyah is known as the inspiration of the Wahhabi movement that aims to the purification of the teachings of Islam. This movement departs from the separation between the ‘ub?diyyah and un-‘ub?diyyah teachings, which are also inspired by Ibn Taymiyyah's thought. In 'ib?dah, Ibn Taymiyyah holds the rule that as long as there is no ordered argument it should not be done. However, the notion of ib?dah according to Ibn Taymiyyah is not limited to mahdlah worship but more broadly. Whereas in mu'?malah, he holds the rule of allowing doing anything as long as there is no prohibition against it. In shaping the concept of 'ib?dah and mu'?malah, at first, Ibn Taymiyyah accepted it as something normative from the thought of Ahmad ibn Hanbal. But when he saw the social reality with the number of deviations' in ib?dah done by Muslims, the concept that has been obtained normatively from the thought of Ahmad ibn Hanbal is reaffirmed and expanded to become a sociological concept, in addition to being normative. Abstract

This is classroom action research that aims to improve student learning outcomes in Jurisprudence subjects, on the material for the provisions of the five daily prayers using the “inside outside circle model”. The object of this research is the seventh-grade students of Kanigoro Performance in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes four stages of activity, namely, planning, action, observation, and reflection. With descriptive technique, this classroom action research was chosen as an effort to improve student learning outcomes. Before the first and second cycles of action are taken, it begins with pre-action. At this stage the researcher made observations about the learning of fiqh that was applied in the classroom. In the implementation of this pre-action, the result was 58.09%. Then the first cycle was carried out on the Fiqh learning material on the provisions of the five daily prayers using the inside outside circle model. From the classroom action research data that the researchers got, there was a change in the first cycle. It became 75.71% but there were still 9 children whose scores had not reached the KKM. Continued to the second cycle stage to 86.66% although there are still 2 students who have not reached the KKM score. The results of the study prove that using the inside outside circle model can improve student learning outcomes in fiqh learning about the five daily prayers, in class VII MTs Al-Azhar Kanigoro Malang performance in the academic year 2021/2022.
