Abstract

State high schools in Surakarta City have different achievements. To see these achievements, it is necessary to have an expert system that provides information about the achievements of the school to the community, both student achievement and the achievements of teachers or educators. In designing the expertise system of school achievement, it is also necessary to design the database system. Often developers don't pay attention to data security in the database when designing a system. System design is made into the concept of data mapping, Context Diagrams, and Table Relations. This research will also discuss restrictions on database access rights in MySQL which is useful to restrict users from accessing the database. Based on the design, the writer presents a web-based school achievement expertise design system as a means of information on the achievements of public high schools in the city of Surakarta. The method in this study covers literature review, data collection, designing achievement expertise systems, and designing and security procedures for the expert system database at Surakarta Senior High School. The results of this study are the system of school achievement expertise in Surakarta Senior High School based on the categories of achievement, level of achievement, and year of achievement as well as the design database of the school achievement system with regard to database security

Abstract

Security is the most important part of computer network technology systems. Among the technologies that utilize networks are cloud computing. One cloud computing provider such as eucalyptus uses a firewall for system security. The use of a firewall on the system cannot monitor and analyze traffic that is inside the cloud server and does not give a warning when an attack occurs. The purpose of this study is that researchers will implement a network intrusion detection system (NIDS) in cloud computing and mirroring traffic on switches. Intrusion detection system (IDS) is a security technology that can analyze network traffic and detect traffic if an attack is indicated. NIDS are placed hosted differently from cloud computing servers. With the switch mirroring traffic method, traffic will be directed to NIDS so that NIDS can record all network traffic originating from outside the cloud server or traffic between virtual machines within the cloud server. The test results of attacks with 2 scenarios, namely attacks from outside and from within the cloud system, then NIDS is able to provide an alert response to traffic attacks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran Informatika materi Teknik Jaringan dilaksanakan dengan media pembelajaran Blended Learning yaitu daring dan luring dengan pendekatan Discovery Learning di SMAN 1 Bae Kudus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI 36 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah aktivitas dan hasil belajar. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif dengan presentase. Skor rata-rata peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar kondisi awal sebesar 55,56. Pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 85,44 dan pada siklus II meningkat dengan nilai rata- rata 88,76. Dari segi kriteria ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) pada pratindakan siswa yang mencapai KKM (75) sebesar 55,56%, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 82,35% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 88,76% sedangkan persentase peningkatan aktivitas belajar pada siklus I 82,35% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 88,76%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan.
