Abstract

PDAM Loa Kulu Branch still uses sticks or poles as an indicator of the water level in the reservoir. Reservoir is a place to store clean water production from PDAM, the weakness of using sticks or poles is when the operator does not monitor continuously causing air loss when production becomes large. The goal of the study was to design a water-level prototype to control excess water in the reservoir. The method used is a prototype with the stage of gathering information through interviewing PDAM staff, creating and repairing prototypes and testing prototypes. The test used hardware consisting of arduino uno r3, ultrasonic sensor hc-sr04, flowmeter sensor yf-s201, 16 x 2 lcd, relay module, buzzer, solenoid valve 12 V_dc, pump 12 V_dc and display measurement results in the visual studio application 2019. Our findings are that the length of reservoir charging with an average input discharge of 3.6 liters / minute is 2.93 minutes. As for the length of emptying the reservoir with an average output discharge of 1.06 liters / minute is 12.10 minutes. The conclusion of this study is that the system can monitor the water level inside the reservoir automatically and know the time needed for the feeling and emptying process of the reservoir.

Abstract

The Segiri Market waste has the potential to cause sources of disease, unpleasant odors, and interfere with aesthetics.  This study objectives are to estimate waste generation, potential volume and quality of biogas, as well as the potential for energy produced. The implementation of the procedure for sampling waste generation and composition in accordance with SNI 19-3964-1994 for 8 consecutive days.  The projected waste generation is based on the number of active traders and market capacity for five years. This study implements experimental method using 120 L volume using a ratio of 1:1 for chopped market garbage and cow rumen fluid.  The parameters are temperature, pH, biogas volume, and volatile solid values. The average volume and weight of waste generation in 2021 is 55.69 m3/day or 19,906.60 kg/day. The estimated biogas material harvested from the waste is 50.57 m3/day. This number is comprised of organic waste and inorganic waste with a total of 97.67% and 2.33% consecutively. The volume of biogas produced for 35 days is 156.45 mL, which equivalent to 1.05 kWh/day of electrical energy. The pH is in the range of 4.79 - 6.3, and the temperature is within 29.4oC - 31.9oC. Biogas can burn in the third to fifth weeks with a blue flame color. The estimated waste generation until 2025 reaches 61.31 m³/day which equivalent to 1.16 kWh /day of electrical energy. Keywords: Biogas, Market Waste, Tradisional Market, Waste Generation, Renewable Energy

Abstract

One of the Dayak cultures of Kalimantan Island, Indonesia is a traditional house called Lamin where each wall is decorated according to tribal characteristics. This study aims to identify the image on the Lamin wall using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method based on the eccentricity and metric parameter values. The data of this study consisted of 50 types of images of the Lamin wall motifs of the Dayak Kenyah tribe consisting of tebengaang, dragon, crocodile, tiger, and arch which were taken from the tourist village, Pampang, Samarinda, East Kalimantan. Based on the experiment, the shape feature extraction method has produced the highest value of the eccentricity parameter which is 0.6979 and the metric parameter is 0.9953 on the image of the arch. Motif identification using the SVM method using linear, Gaussian/RBF, and polynomial kernel parameters has resulted in the highest accuracy with 80% image composition of kernel polynomial at 85%, Gaussian/RBF at 80%, and linear at 78%.

Abstract

Digitalisasi Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) saat ini tengah berkembang dengan pesat. Salah satu caranya melalui sistem penjualan online yang dilakukan di beberapa usaha penjualan atau pertokoan. Risti Boutique adalah salah satu toko busana muslim untuk pria dan wanita yang berlokasi di Kota Samarinda. Risti Boutique menjual berbagai macam busana muslim dari berbagai usia menggunakan sistem penjualan secara langsung datang pada toko, dengan tata kelola penjualan menggunakan catatan manual pada buku. Sejalan dengan itu maka sistem informasi penjualan diperlukan untuk melakukan efisiensi dalam penjualan dan pendataan barang dari toko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan transformasi sistem penjualan dari Risti Boutique yang sebelumnya dilakukan hanya secara offline menjadi online menggunakan Content Management System (CMS) Prestashop pada pembuatannya. Pengembangan sistem informasi menerapkan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang memiliki tingkat kedinamisan yang tinggi dalam membangun sebuah sistem. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem informasi penjualan untuk manajemen pengelolaan toko Risti Boutique yang mampu mendokumentasikan segala hal terkait penjualan untuk membantu pihak took dalam memasarkan produk dan mengembangkan usahanya.

Abstract

The Swallow nest production in a cultivation building have high commercial value. There are several factors that affect nest productivity such as light intensity, temperature and humidity conditions in the cultivation building. Better factors can be found in cultivation building that located far from residential area. However, this led to a risk of theft. Therefore, this study proposes a system that able to monitor the productivity factors and safety status of the building. System development uses a comparison method with black box testing. The system controller uses the Raspberry Pi B+ and the python programming language. Sensor Modules (GY-302, DHT-22, BME-280) are used to monitor light intensity, temperature and humidity. The security system uses sensor modules (LDR LM393, PIR HC-SR501 and SW-420) as flashlight, motion and vibration detectors. The black box testing result shows a good performance of the proposed system. The monitoring and security system can monitor the condition of swallow cultivation parameters and security status that can turn on alert alarms, send WhatsApp messages, store log data and send data to the website periodically according to the level of conditions that occur.

Abstract

Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Mulawarman pada pelaksanaan kegiatan pengelolaan masih dilakukan secara manual tanpa perangkat lunak atau teknologi khusus. Banyaknya koleksi buku dan anggota terkadang menjadi kendala dalam melakukan kegiatan pengelolaan. Karena itu, dirasa perlu untuk diadakannya perbaikan pada kegiatan manajemen, sehingga dapat menunjang kinerja dari pustakawan dan juga memudahkan mahasiswa dalam melakukan pencarian, peminjaman, dan juga pengembalian buku. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang SIM perpustakaan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna berdasarkan informasi dan data dari kegiatan penelitian dan juga menerapkan rancangan kedalam bentuk perangkat lunak berbasis web dengan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter. Perancangan SIM Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Mulawarman ini hanya terbatas pada tahap analisa sistem yaitu pembuatan basis data, arsitektur sistem dan desain antarmuka. Hasil rancangan terhadap kebutuhan pengguna (sisi pegawai) dengan nilai 121 memiliki interpretasi sangat positif, dengan kata lain hasil rancangan dinilai sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Sedangkan hasil rancangan terhadap kebutuhan pengguna (sisi mahasiswa) dengan nilai 147 memiliki interpretasi positif, dengan kata lain hasil rancangan dinilai cukup sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil rancangan pada penelitian ini diterapkan kedalam sebuah perangkat lunak berbasis web dengan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter yang merujuk pada analisis sistem tersebut. Perangkat lunak tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu menunjang dan meningkatkan produktivitas petugas Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Mulawarman agar diperoleh informasi yang cepat dan efisien. Perangkat lunak tersebut memiliki empat kelompok pengguna dalam melakukan akses, Kepala Perpustakaan dengan level user “Root”, Pustakawan dengan level user “Operator”, Anggota dengan level user “Anggota”, dan kelompok Tamu. Penerapan rancangan ini meliputi kegiatan pengelolaan data pustakawan, data anggota, data katalogisasi, data inventarisasi, data transaksi, dan pelaporan.

Abstract

Floods are a common disaster in watersheds, and flood control is difficult. However, losses can be reduced by quickly disseminating alert status information. This paper proposes a prototype of a monitoring system that can determine the status of flood alerts in real time and quickly disseminating to the community, allowing people to be better prepared for flood disasters. The system was developed using the RD method and consists of hardware and software development. The hardware comprises several sensor modules to read the discharge, temperature, humidity, and water level and to transmit the readings to the software. The software is divided into two applications: a website application and a Telegram application. The public can find the flood alert status history data from the website and obtain flood alert status warning messages and the latest alert status from Telegram. The results of the tests indicated that the sensors were very accurate, with a MAPE value of less than 10%. The software test also showed that the input and output were according to design. The proposed system can potentially reduce flood losses by providing early warning information to the community. The system is also scalable and adaptable to other watersheds.
