Abstract

The patchouli commodity (Pogostemon Cablin Benth.) Is a plant that produces essential oils with very good economic value in the international market, considering that only a few countries produce this commodity, including Indonesia. Thus the development of this commodity is a strategic step in developing patchouli agribusiness in Indonesia.PT. Agro Usaha Mandiri plans to develop a patchouli agribusiness area in Pasie Raya District, Aceh Jaya Regency, which covers an area of 3,000 ha. The company uses processing technology (distillation) that is more efficient and of high quality in order to be competitive and more efficient and more economical than the existing conventional systems.This research discusses the financial feasibility study for investment carried out by PT. Agro Usaha Mandiri. The company's investment is in the form of patchouli agribusiness development. The method used is the Investment Criteria. Investment criteria are calculating the value of Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Payback Period, and Benefit Cost Ratio. From the analysis, it is found that the investment made to run a business is declared feasible to be implemented with an NPV value greater than 1 and an IRR greater than the interest rate used (12%) with a payback period (PP) that is faster than the investment age (10 year) and the value of the B / C Ratio is greater than 1.

Abstract

Wooden fish in Acehnese language called engkot keumamah is raw fish that is boiled and then dried in the sun for 2 days if the sun is bright, if the sun is not bright, the drying can take up to 2 to 4 days. The main raw material for making wooden fish comes from skipjack tuna. Wood fish can be stored for months, even years. To consume wooden fish, first slice it into thin and small pieces (chips) and then add spices, in the form of a mixture of red chilies, small chilies, sunti acid, shallots, garlic and salt to taste. Based on the potential of fisheries and the improvement of the Lampulo PPS infrastructure, the Banda Aceh City Government should carry out a transformation of competitive and sustainable fisheries development. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate the latest (effective) technology. Strengthening and developing the downstream fisheries industry, such as fish processing and canning. One of the efforts that must be made by the Banda Aceh city government is canning ready-to-eat wooden fish. This is very synergistic with what has been done by the community of Lampulo Village in producing wooden fish (eungkot keumamah). The results of the investment feasibility calculation show that the keumamah fish canning business is feasible and even profitable, because at an interest rate (discount factor) of 14% per year, the Net B/C is 2.19 (>1) and the NPV is Rp. 2,821,481,537.14,– (> 0). With an IRR value of 40.46% (> DF 14%), it means: this project is feasible even though the interest rate (discount factor) reaches 40.46% per year.

Abstract

Clean and healthy living behavior in schools is a set of behaviors that are practiced by students, teachers and the school community as learning outcomes, so that they are able to independently prevent disease, improve health and play an active role in creating a healthy environment. The aim of the study was to find out the description of the knowledge, attitudes and actions of class VI students at SD Negeri Bueng Cala towards clean and healthy behavior. This research is descriptivewith a sample of 57 respondents using the total sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a statement with a total of 24 statements, and the results of data analysis are presented intable form of frequency distribution and percentage.The results of this study indicate that the knowledge of class VI students at SD Negeri Bueng Cala regarding Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) is in the high category, namely 31 respondents (54.39%). The attitudes of students regarding PHBS were in the positive category of 33 respondents (57.89%). The actions of students regarding PHBS were in the category of 32 respondents (56.14%). Based on the results of the research, it is hoped that students will be able to prevent disease, strengthen children's skills in clean and healthy living behavior, improve children's mental and social development, and improve students' abilities to protect themselves from harmful substances.

Abstract

The management of the industrial partner practically runs naturally without a touch of technology & good business management. The existence of this coir industry/entrepreneur on the environment is very important. This means that this industry is very helpful to the people in the village, because it absorbs workers. Based on the results of the situation analysis from partner industries, the problem that needs to be solved is that there is no working tool in the form of a reliable coconut coir combing machine, which has a low failure rate for mass decomposed coir. The method offered in this program is the applicative method, meaning that it is approached by scientific methods that apply in the process of designing and manufacturing products or tools. This fiber combing machine has a capacity of 10,000 coconuts per day, or 1250 pieces per hour. This machine will later be donated/given to entrepreneurs/coconut craft industry. The purpose of this activity is to assist partner industries in increasing the production capacity of coconut coir woven between 20-25 times compared to conventional systems. There are still many human resources in the "BUMG Lieue & Angan" coco coir industry who have low education, currently it can be said to be in a quite alarming condition, because new products are starting to get eliminated.
