Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes in Arabic subjects before the application of Big Book media, the process of applying Big Book media and student learning outcomes after the application of Big Book media in class IV MI Naelushibyan. The research method used is classroom action research through four repetitive stages of planning, implementation, observation or observation, and reflection. The object of research was 15 students. The research instrument consisted of a teacher activity observation sheet, a student activity observation sheet and a written test. Data collection techniques use observation and test techniques. The results obtained from this study are the learning outcomes of students in the pre cycle get an average score of 53. The first cycle obtained the average value of teacher activity 72.2% and cycle II obtained an average value of 94.4%. Student activity in cycle I obtained an average value of 69.21% and cycle II obtained an average value of 91.07%. Student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average value of 77, cycle II obtained an average value of 83.6. It can be concluded that Big Book media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine differences in religious commitment and Teaching Faculty of SMA and MA (Pesantren) background, and its implications for learning. This research approach is quantitative descriptive and comparative techniques using questionnaires, the study documentation, and observation. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential. Research hypothesis testing using the comparative analysis is the t-score. The results showed that: there were significant differences of religious commitment among students of Faculty of SMA and MA (Pesantren) backgrounds. Obtained value t = -6.588 with df = 66 and p-value (2 sides / 2-tailed) = 0,000 so it can be concluded that the average score in the student questionnaire with SMA background, is smaller than MA (Pesantren) background. The results showed that there were differences in the profile dimensions religus commitment. First, the lack of communal dimension in the educational backgrounds of students MA (Pesantren). Second, high communal dimension in the educational backgrounds of students in SMA. Third, the dimensions of the experience both equally lacking. Fourth, the dimensions of both beliefs are equally high.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan komitmen religius mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan yang berlatar belakang pendidikan SMA dan MA (Pesantren), serta implikasinya dalam pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan teknik komparatif dengan menggunakan instrumen angket, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan analisis komparasi yaitu t-score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: ada perbedaan yang signifikan tentang komitmen religius antara mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan yang berlatar belakang pendidikan SMA dan MA (Pesantren). Didapat nilai t=-6,588 dengan dk=66 dan p-value (2 sisi/2-tailed)=0,000 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata skor angket di mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan yang berlatar belakang pendidikan SMA lebih kecil daripada MA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan profil dalam dimensi-dimensi komitmen religus. Pertama, kurangnya dimensi komunal pada mahasiswa yang berlatar belakang pendidikan  MA (Pesantren). Kedua, tingginya dimensi komunal pada mahasiswa yang berlatar belakang pendidikan SMA. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perbedaan kemampuan menulis Al-Qur’an antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran dengan strategi practice rehearsal pairs dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran metode imla’ pada kelas III MI Cahaya Kota Cimahi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen atau eksperimen semu. Desain yang digunakan adalah the two-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III di MI Cahaya Kota Cimahi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes uraian yang sesuai dengan indikator kemampuan menulis Al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antara siswa yang menggunakan strategi practice rehearsal pairs dan yang menggunakan metode imla’ dinyatakan terdapat perbedaan. Strategi practice rehearsal pairs memiliki peranan yang cukup besar dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis Al-Qur’an. Penerapan strategi practice rehearsal pairs dalam proses menulis Al-Qur’an mempunyai keunggulan yaitu menumbuhkan keaktifan, kemandirian dalam belajar, partisipasi dan kreativitas siswa.Kata kunci: Strategi Practice Rehearsal Pairs, Kemampuan Menulis Al-Qur’an  AbstractThis study aimed to find out how the difference in the ability to write Al-Qur'an between students using learning with practice rehearsal pair strategy with students using imla’ learning method in the third grade of MI Cahaya Cimahi City. This research was a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental research. The design used was the the two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were all grade III students at MI Cahaya Cimahi City. The instrument used was the observation sheet and test description in accordance with the indicators of the ability to write the Qur'an. The results show that between students who apply the practice rehearsal pair strategy and those who apply the imla’ method there are differences.  The practice rehearsal pair strategy has a crucial and significant role in the ability to write the Qur'an. The application of the practice rehearsal pair strategy in the process of writing the Qur'an has the advantage of growing students’ activeness, independent learning, participation and creativity. Keywords: practice rehearsal pair strategy, writing Al-Qur’an skills
