Abstract

The halal industry has the potential to grow, supported by a gradual implementation of a mandatory halal regulation according to Law No 33 the year 2014 regarding Halal Product Guarantee. To support this program, Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH) has encouraged universities to establish Halal Centers since 2019. The goal of this study is to investigate the Halal Center's collaboration strategy with other agencies supporting halal mandatory programs using the Analytical Hierarchy Process approach. This research interviewed 40 food and beverage business owners and experts in 2021. Data analysis is divided into three stages: decomposition, pairwise comparisons, and priority synthesis. The hierarchical structure is comprised of four levels, namely the variables affecting collaboration, the actors involved, the goals, and the cooperation strategy. The results show that capital (0.617) and institutional policy (0.30) affect the growth of Halal Center cooperation. While BPJPH (0.33), the government (0.31), and private institutions (0.12) all contribute to the development of the halal center collaboration. The purpose of developing the halal center collaboration is to help accelerate MSME to obtain halal certification (0.67). While the Cooperation strategy suggests that the use of government assistance funds (0.46), as well as collaboration with private institutions (weight 0.34).

Abstract

Some of the objectives of this study were: 1) To analyze the segmentation of iodized crystal coconut palm sugar. 2) To recognize the targeting of iodized crystal coconut pal sugar. 3) To Identify the positioning of Gendis iodized crystal coconut palm sugar products. Data collection was carried out online and offline in Purwokerto, where online questionnaires were distributed in several areas in Central Java and West Java. for four months, namely the period December 2020 - March 2021. The population in this study were consumers of iodized crystal coconut palm sugar and its potential consumers. The sampling method in this study used a non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Based on characteristics of the respondents, there are 3 market segments of iodized crystal coconut palm sugar were created. The target market chosen is cluster 2 with the characteristics of respondents aged 41 - 50 years, diploma educational background, housewife profession, and monthly expenses range of Rp.1.500.000 - Rp.3.000.000. Based on the biplot analysis, the results of the perception mapping by respondents that the most attached to the iodized crystal coconut palm sugar were taste, color, and texture.

Abstract

The stove selection in Tempe chips SMEs is one of the crucial things done in the planning process as an effort to reduce production costs. Especially for SMEs whose more complex production process, namely producing their own tempes. So this study aims to examine the production cost as a break-even point (BEP) analysis of stove type choices as a basis for determining the right stove. This BEP analysis includes manufacturing investment costs, fuel costs, educational costs for technological changes, production quantities and capacity of each stove type. From the research results is known that the production cost by using conventional stove is Rp. 21.53 per unit, but with energy saving stoves only Rp. 14.2 per unit. Because of that, Tempe Yu Mudah Chips is recommended for using energy-efficient stoves in the production process.

Abstract

Budidaya kentang konvensional dengan sistem guludan vertikal (searah lereng), disertai penggunaan pupuk/pestisida kimia yang intensif berdampak terhadap degrasi lahan (erosi tanah) dan lingkungan sekitarnya (sedimentasi dan pecemaran daerah aliran sungai/DAS) secara signifikan. Disisi lain, penerapan sistem guludan horizontal (searah kontur) terbukti sangat efektif mengurangi erosi tanah dan menahan penurunan produktivitas kentang yang drastis, terutama jika dikombinasikan dengan saluran drainase. Namun, tingkat kelayakan budidaya tersebut berbasis analisis ekonomi yang komprehensif masih belum banyak terdokumentasikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kalayakan secara ekonomi untuk budidaya kentang pada sistem guludan horizontal dengan interval saluran drainse tertentu dan variasi jenis-dosis pemupukan. Total 4 demplot penelitian (@8 guludan horizontal, @40 cm lebar, @2 m interval saluran drainase secara zigzag, @10 tanaman=80 tanaman) disiapkan di lahan yang berlokasi di Desa Serang, Purbalingga dan dirancang secara RAL untuk perlakuan 4 jenis-dosis pupuk yang berbeda, yaitu: (1) pupuk kandang+pupuk bersubsidi urea-ponska, 125kg/ha (D1), (2) pupuk kandang+pupuk non-subsidi NSL-nitrea, 41,67kg/ha (D2), (3) pupuk kandang+pupuk non-subsidi NSL-nitrea, 83,33kg/ha (D3), dan (4) pupuk kandang+pupuk non-subsidi NSL-nitrea, 125kg/ha (D4). Berbagai biaya faktor produksi (biaya tetap: lahan/tanah; biaya variable: berbagai bahan dan alat/perangkat), harga jual produk, biaya/harga terkait lainnya didata dan dikumpulkan per demplot selama satu musim budidaya kentang. Analisis data meliputi analisis TFC, TVC, NP, BEP, ROI, B/C Ratio, dan I. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa D2 adalah perlakuan yang memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang paling baik secara ekonomi, dimana dengan TFC=Rp.150.000,00 dan TVC=Rp.30.233.020,00, tercapai nilai NP=Rp.2.925.522,00, BEP=191,43kg; Rp.7.741/kg, ROI=0,10, B/C Ratio=1,10, dan I=Rp.1.822.981,00/tahun.
