Abstract

This study aims to describe the lifestyle of shopaholic teenagers in online shopping trends at shopee. Developments in the field of technology have changed people's lifestyles to become more practical. Today's society is more likely to do online shopping activities because it is considered very efficient and effective. This study uses a literature study research method whose data is obtained from several previous studies and other sources such as articles, journals, books and documents related to the theme of this research. This study shows that shopee is the world's leading online shopping application that sells a variety of needs that can be easily accessed via smartphones. However, without realizing it, online shopping activities actually foster a shopaholic nature for some people, especially teenagers. Teenagers today shop not according to need, but for sheer pleasure. Because teenagers pay more attention to symbols related to consumption which are used as identities, social and cultural strata.

Abstract

Culture is a human activity that is carried out repeatedly. The form of culture is in the form of ideas, behaviors, and objects. The purpose of this study is to identify red and white porridge as a symbol of naming children and to analyze the phenomenon from the perspective of cultural sociology through Jurgen Habermas' theory of cultural rationalization. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with interviews and literature studies. The results showed that the red and white porridge symbolized the red porridge symbolized the mother's blood, and the white porridge symbolized the father's semen. Red and white porridge is a symbol of naming children as well as an introduction to prayer for children. According to Habermas, the nature of human relations with other humans is the communication that occurs during the process of transferring knowledge from parents to children about the symbolization of red and white porridge. In addition, during the process of distributing the porridge to the neighbors around the place of residence, after it was made and prayers were said. The recipient will simultaneously receive information about the birth and name of the child, as well as the symbolization of the red and white porridge.

Abstract

Reog merupakan kesenian tradisional yang memiliki hal mistis dan ilmu kebatinan yang kuat. Di dalamnya terdapat pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter di sekolah diberikan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Ekstrakurikuler reog bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap budaya lokal dan cinta tanah air. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penanaman nilai-nilai karakter kepada peserta didik melalui kesenian reog . Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai luhur dan karakter pada peserta didik dapat dilakukan melalui kesenian Reog Ponorogo. Dengan melestarikan kesenian, peserta didik sudah menerapkan nilai luhur budaya lokal dan cinta tanah air. Reog is a traditional art that has mystical things and strong mysticism. In art there is a moral message as well as criticism. Character education is something that is very important and must coincide with the education of various sciences in schools. Character education in schools can be provided through extracurricular activities. Reogs extracurricular activities aim to foster a love for lokal culture and love for the homeland. The purpose of this study was to find out how to instill character values into students through the art of reog in extracurricular activities at school. The research method uses qualitative and data collection techniques through literature studies. The results showed that the cultivation of noble values and character in students can be done through the art of Reog Ponorogo. By preserving the arts, students have applied the noble values of lokal culture and the principle of love for the homeland.

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of the COVID pandemic on a group of people, namely MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) actors. This entrepreneurial sector is known for its flexibility and resilience to withstand all situations and conditions, including during the 1998 monetary crisis. However, during the pandemic, this sector was hit the hardest compared to large companies. This is because the MSME sector in general does not have large savings as part of a precautionary motive. The government actually already has an assistance program for MSMEs affected by COVID. But, of course, MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) actors must rise up to help themselves, not only relying on government programs that may have limitations. This study aims to see the strategies of the MSME actors, both economic and social strategies. Researches on the adaptive strategies of economic actors have indeed been carried out frequently. The difference is that the adaptive strategy that will be examined this time is a strategy during the COVID pandemic. Most of the COVID-19 studies have been conducted in the medical or health sector. Because this research was conducted during the pandemic, interviews were conducted through digital technology, namely WA calling or telephone. There were six research subjects who were interviewed, with various product variants produced. Based on the research results, it was found that there are three kinds of adaptation strategies for MSME actors namely: economic strategy, technology strategy and social network strategy.

Abstract

The rapid flow of globalization that develops in society makes it easier for various foreign cultures to enter a country. One of the foreign cultures that is currently globalizing is Korean pop culture.. In Indonesia itself, there are many fans of Pop culture, especially K-pop fans. One of the consumption activities carried out by K-pop fans is buying physical albums. Physical albums have become a distinctive feature of K-pop even though in this modern era there have been digital albums. The K-pop industry has made physical album sales experience a very rapid increase in recent times. Usually, physical K-Pop albums don't only contain CDs, there are photobooks, photocards, and merchandise that are attractive to fans. This study aims to examine the meaning of buying physical albums for fans and identify the motives of fans choosing to buy physical albums over digital albums. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected by means of interviews. Research is assisted by the foundation of cultural sociology theories. The results of the study show that the meaning of a physical album for fans is a self-reward and happiness in itself when having a physical album. The purchase of physical albums is also intended as a form of appreciation for the idol's music and songs that have had a positive effect on their lives. Purchase of physical albums is also influenced by cultural hegemony. The power of hegemony makes fans think that Korean pop culture is a part of their daily life. Keywords: K-Pop, Fans, Physical Album, Pop Culture AbstrakDerasnya arus globalisasi yang berkembang di masyarakat memudahkan berbagai budaya asing masuk ke suatu negara. Salah satu budaya asing yang tengah mendunia saat ini, yaitu budaya pop Korea. Di Indonesia sendiri, penggemar budaya Pop sangatlah banyak khususnya penggemar K-pop. Salah satu kegiatan konsumsi yang dilakukan oleh penggemar K-pop adalah membeli album fisik. Album fisik telah menjadi ciri khas tersendiri dari K-pop meskipun sudah di era modern ini telah ada album berbentu digital. Industri K-pop telah membuat penjualan album fisik mengalami peningkatan yang sangat pesat dalam waktu terakhir. Bisanya, album fisik K-Pop tidak hanya memuat kaset saja, terdapat photobook, photocard, dan merchandise yang menarik bagi para penggemar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkai makna pembelian album fisik bagi penggemar dan mengidentifikasi motif penggemar memilih membeli album fisik daripada album digital. Metode yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini, yakni kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara. Penelitian dibantu dengan landasan teori-teori sosiologi budaya. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna album fisik bagi penggemar merupakan suatu self reward dan kebahagiaan tersendiri ketika memiliki wujud fisik album. Pembelian album fisik juga ditujukan sebagai bentuk apresiasi kepada musik dan lagu sang idola yang telah memberikan efek positif bagi kehidupan mereka. Pembelian album fisik juga dipengaruhi adanya hegemoni budaya. Kekuatan hegemoni membuat penggemar menganggap bahwa budaya pop Korea menjadi bagian dari kehidupan sehari-harinya. Kata Kunci: K-Pop, Penggemar, Album Fisik, Budaya Pop

Abstract

merupakan suatu kewajiban bagi seseorang yang beragama muslim terhadap orang yang meninggal. Ketika ada orang yang meninggal dunia, jenazah prang tersebut masih memiliki hak untuk mendapatkan hormat dari orang lain yang masih hidup. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan ini, menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yang berlandaskan pada bukti yang positif untuk menunjang penelitian. pada desa pajeng bojonegoro, apabila ada orang meninggal kegiatan takziah tetap dilakukan. Tetapi hal tersebut masih menunggu dari pihak medis dan keluarga. Apakah orang yang meninggal terjangkit virus corona atau tidak. Dan apabila tidak terjangkit takziah tetap dilaksanakan. Dengan mematuhi rangkaian protocol kesehaan yang telah diberikan oleh pemerintah, dna telah disediakan oleh keluarga yang meninggal.

Abstract

Culture is a hereditary heritage that comes from previous ancestors, and has its own meaning and symbol based on the values ??it teaches. Culture is used as a characteristic of one group with another, where the culture is preserved as a local wisdom that can strengthen the unity and integrity of a nation. One of them is the culture originating from Java, namely the selapanan tradition. This tradition is interpreted as a traditional ceremony in welcoming a newborn baby, this is intended so that the baby gets safe later in the future and avoids interference by evil creatures that can harm him. The Javanese people hold the ceremony as the first nepton commemoration days after the baby is born. The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply the meaning of the selapanan tradition for the Javanese people and to find out the educational and religious values ??contained in the selapanan tradition for the Javanese people. The method used in this study is qualitative with descriptive analysis and is supported by literature studies from books, journals and articles. So the results obtained are the meaning of the selapanan tradition to seek safety and as a forum for socialization. Educational and religious values ??in the selapanan tradition are contained during the ceremony process, and are found in the food served to neighbors and relatives who attend.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui budaya yang ada pada masyarakat menegenai kesenjangan ekonomi keluarga dan kualitas pendidikan pada anak yang terjadi di Kota Surabaya yang melatarbelakangi terjadinya kesenjangan didapat karena adanya pembeda atau kelas antar sekolah yang terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan hasil observsasi serta wawancara menjadi gambaran umum dalam hasil penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengacu pada teori konflik oleh Karl Marx yaitu penentuan sosial dari perilaku individu bahwa manusia atau masyarakat menurut kodratnya selalu mengejar kepentingan sendiri. Marx juga percaya bahwa manusia memiliki sifat egois pada sifat hubungan dimana ia dilahirkan atau dibesarkan. Menutrut Marx, kehidupan individu dan masyarakat didasarkan pada ekonomi sebagai pengaruh utama. Hasil dari penelitian ini budaya yang diciptakan oleh masyarakat yang berkepanjangan dan menciptakan stratifikasi sosial mengenai kesenjangan kualitas pendidikan pada anak berdasarkan pengalaman yang dimana masih banyak sekolah yang mengkategorikan pendidikan dengan kualitas yang sangat bagus hanya untuk kalangan yang mampu saja namun bagi anak yang kurang mampu dapat merasskan pendidikan tersebut hanya dengan bantuan dari pemerintah saja seperti program yang ada di Surabaya khususnya yaitu mitra warga untuk golongan anak pada keluarga yang kurang mampu.

Abstract

This study examines the complex dynamics of digital integration in Bali's travel and tourist sector, with a particular emphasis on the effects of branding, social media, and data analytics on customer engagement and sustainable marketing tactics. 355 different enterprises in the province responded to a quantitative analysis that was carried out. The structural model analysis validated all of the proposed hypotheses, while the measurement model assessment confirmed the constructs' validity and reliability. The findings highlight the beneficial connections between consumer involvement, branding tactics, data analytics adoption, social media integration, and sustainable marketing techniques. The study's conclusions can be trusted because the model fit indices show a respectable fit. This research highlights the strategic significance of digital integration for sustainability and customer connections, providing useful insights for companies trying to navigate Bali's tourism sector in the digital era.

Abstract

AbstrakBudaya korea pada saat ini sedang populer dikalangan remaja, lebih khusus dalam kalangan mahasiswa. Budaya korea pertama kali masuk di Indonesia sejak tahun 2000 an yang awalnya merupakan drama korea yang sukses digemari penonton Indonesia. Ditambah dengan adanya teknologi yang memadai pada saat ini menyebabkan kemudahan suatu individu untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai kabar dunia K-pop yang ada. Semakin mudahnya mahasiswa untuk mengakses informasi dari dunia luar ini membuatnya menjadi fanatik terhadap budaya korea, khususnya dengan idola mereka yang dikhawatirkan dapat menimbulkan dampak yang kurang baik bagi kehidupan sosialnya. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh budaya K-pop terhadap kehidupan sosial mahasiswa di Surabaya. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kajian literatur yang berasal dari buku, artikel maupun skripsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya budaya K-pop akibat modernisasi tidak sepenuhnya membuat mahasiswa enggan untuk bersosialisasi dengan dunia luar. AbstractKorean culture is currently popular among teenagers, more specifically among students. Korean culture entered Indonesia for the first time since the 2000s, which was originally a Korean drama that was successfully loved by Indonesian audiences. Coupled with the existence of adequate technology at this time, it is easy for an individual to obtain information about existing K-pop world news. The easier it is for students to access information from the outside world, this makes them fanatical about Korean culture, especially their idols, which they fear can have an adverse impact on their social life. The purpose of this research was to find out how far the influence of K-pop culture has on the social life of students in Surabaya. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, with data collection through observation, interviews, and literature review from books, articles and theses. The results of the study show that the existence of K-pop culture as a result of modernization does not completely make students reluctant to socialize with the outside world.
