Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted education, including early childhood education level. Since then, The Indonesian government has asked educational institutions to apply learning from home. Schools all over the country are closed. Changes in the way to teach and learn certainly have an impact. The study aims to consider the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the educational process on early childhood education level in Indonesia based on Educator perspectives. Research data were obtained based on a survey and a semi-structured interview with 61 kindergarten educators. All participants were from Indonesia. Data were collected from April-June 2021. Data analysis used thematic analysis of qualitative data. The result revealed four themes: Educators competency Impact, Effect on parents/family, effect on School Management, and effect on educators’ finances.

Abstract

Parenting education provides knowledge to parents to educate their children, parents as the front guard in educating children must acquire knowledge of how, what and why parenting education must be obtained by parents. This education can be done by parents by consulting with educational institutions, in this research RA educational institutions in Cirebon district in case studies in RA Baiturridwan Gebang and RA Tholaal Badr Gunung Jati. This study uses a qualitative method with a naturalistic approach in observation and data collection, and the researchers themselves in this study as the main instrument. The research discussion is divided into three aspects, namely: first, the parenting aspect is an important aspect for providing education to children, this parenting can be said to be a parent who plays a major role in creating education based on local wisdom. both aspects of educating children are an important part of education. The three Cirebon local cultures are important aspects that must be considered by all parties, especially parents and teachers, parents at the teacher's house when at school. The researcher concludes this study, as follows: In the aspect of educating children, many parents do not understand how to provide education to their children, especially when they gather together with their families and even do not find the time agreed by the family. In the aspect of Cirebon's local culture, many families do not use the free language. In the parenting aspect, parents do not carry out education in order to improve their quality to get parenting knowledge, they tend to ignore, In the parenting aspect as an evaluation, parents should be fully involved to become the front teachers in the home.

Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan menjadi pondasi yang paling penting dalam mencetak generasi yang handal, persaingan global saat ini menuntu setiap orang memiliki pengetahuan yang luas, tak terkecuali pengetahuan membaca Alquran. Pembelajaran Alquran harus ditanamkan semenjak dini, pembiasaan membaca Alquran dengan terus menerus menjadikan kelancaran membaca Alquran dengan baik dan benar. Metode yang tepat dalam pembelajaran Alquran adalah dengan metode qiraati sebuah metode yang memudahkan anak-anak untuk belajar Alquran. Pentingnya membaca agar Indonesia bangkit dari ketertinggalannya dengan Negara lain yang hanya memperoleh 51,7% di bawah Filipina dan Thailand. Hal ini berkaitan dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang harus dikembangkan dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran Alquran di RA Terutama ketika membaca Alquran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskripsi analisis. Pendekatan ini dipilih karena penelitian ini berusaha memaparkan dan menafsirkan gambaran suatu kejadian yang memusatkan perhatian pada masalah-masalah aktual sebagaimana adanya pada waktu penelitian dilakukan. Dengan hasil penelitian, yaitu: (1) perencanaan dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di RA diwujudkan dengan menyiapkan SDM Guru yang bersyahadah, kegiatan KBM yang berstandar Qiraati dan membangun lembaga RA yang kokoh dalam kelembagaannya, (2) pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar Al-Qur’an di RA diwujudkan dengan pembelajaran yang sesuai standar qiraati, pembinaan Guru melalui MMQ, hubungan kordinasi antar lembaga, korcam, dan korcab hingga korpus dalam pembelajaran, dan (3) evaluasi pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di RA dengan mengadakan kegiatan tes akhir santri,  terbukti banyaknya santri yang mengikutinya dari sejumlah 27 lembaga diikuti peserta 390 orang dari  jumlah santri seluruh lembaga berjumlah 1426 orang, hasil tersebut baru mencapai prosentase 27,35 % di tahun 2017.Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan, Pembelajaran dan Metode Qiraati

Abstract

The skills needed by children to understand mathematics are the ability to identify mathematical concepts that children can learn through play activities. Basically, children need meaningful activities, children like to take part in the activities of adults so that they feel useful and feel needed. This study aims to determine the learning process by using high scope models in learning mathematics beginning of early childhood at TKIT Sabilul Huda. The high scope model is a learning model based on the development of interactions. This learning model emphasizes the importance of direct child involvement and this learning model is child-centered. The methods and media used by the teacher in terms of learning mathematics beginning for children are less interesting and very far from the word fun for children. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method, with a focus on research on the application of the high scope model in early childhood mathematics learning, while the primary data sources are principals, center class teachers, and children. The secondary data sources are references to both books and journals related to high scope models and mathematics beginning of early childhood. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. And checking the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of the study showed that the application of high scope models in mathematics learning for early childhood at the TKIT Sabilul Huda had been done well from the planning of learning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. The results of the application of the high scope model in early childhood mathematics learning can be seen from the teacher's assessment, the performance of the child and the work of the child who gets the value of developing very well and developing as expected.

Abstract

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SOROGAN METHODS FOR SANTRI   ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL IN CLASSICAL ISLAMIC BOOK (KITAB KUNING). This study is to investigate the quality of students' literacy of Kitab Kuning through the Sorogan method. To collect the data, observation was conducted in twenty Pesantren in West Java and in-depth interviews with Kiai, santri, alumni, and some local societies around the pesantren. The data collected was then analyzed with a descriptive narrative. This study found that the level of santri’s literacy to understand Kitab Kuning decreased. It was aligned with the change of teaching methods from the Sorogan to the classical method. This issue has a negative impact on the process of transferring knowledge such as misconception to understand Islamic law.
