Abstract

The corona virus diseases 2019 (Covid-19) has spread widely in Indonesia since the beginning of 2020. Until recently, this pandemic has gradually disturbed the whole social and economic sectors including banking industry. Bankers are facing various challenges and uncertainties in sustaining their businesses and simultaneously anticipating the better situation in the future. This research is aimed to identify the impact of capital adequacy, loan distribution, and efficiency on the profitability of Bank Maluku Malut in the Covid-19 pandemic period. This bank is basically categorized as a commercial bank. However, it also being recognized as a regional development bank. In total, there were 26 regional development banks in Indonesia. All financial data of Bank Maluku Malut which are required for analysis in this research are gathered from the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK). These data were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model. It was found that the loan distribution has a significant and positive influence on the profitability. Meanwhile, the efficiency has a significant but negative impact on the profitability. The other finding is that the capital adequacy has no impact on the bank’s profitability.

Abstract

ABSTRACT ISO 26000 have been used as a guideline of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in various companies globally. This research is aimed at analyzing the implementation gap of two main subjects of ISO 26000 in PT. Bakrie Sumatra Plantations Tbk (BSP). The two main subjects are human rights and labor practices. A descriptive qualitative approach is used to process various primary and secondary data. Primary data are gathered through series of interview with relevant respondents, while secondary data are collected mainly from the CSR reports in the period of 2016-2017. It is found that, if referred to the ISO 26000 core subjects, there is an implementation gap in BSP’s CSR practices in the context of labour practices and human rights. Several important documents on these two core subjects are not yet developed by the BSP management until recently. Keywords: CSR implementation; human rights; ISO 26000; labor practices ABSTRAK ISO 26000 digunakan sebagai panduan praktik Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) di berbagai perusahaan di dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesenjangan (gap) dalam implementasi dua subjek utama dalam ISO 26000 pada  PT. Bakrie Sumatra Plantations Tbk (BSP). Kedua subjek utama tersebut adalah hak asasi manusia dan praktik tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk memproses data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan metode wawancara dengan responden, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan CSR selama periode 2016-2017. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan implementasi di dalam praktik CSR pada BSP, jika ditinjau dari subjek inti ISO 26000, yaitu dalam konteks praktik tenaga kerja dan hak asasi manusia. Beberapa dokumen inti dalam dua subjek utama tersebut belum disediakan oleh manajemen BSP. Kata kunci: implementasi CSR; hak asasi manusia; ISO 26000; praktik tenaga kerja

Abstract

Recently, the global scenario has changed radically due to the ongoing coronavirus disease pandemic and the economic impact caused by lockdowns in various countries. It seems that embracing digitalization and the transformation of business organizations that integrate digital technology has become paramount to the survival of enterprises. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Green Development Model on Business Sustainability in Property Companies in the Digital Era. This research is included in descriptive quantitative research. This research was conducted on Property, and Real Estate Companies registered on the IDX. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling, so the sample obtained in this study was 42 Property and Real Estate companies. Validity and reliability tests are carried out to ensure that the measurements used are accurate and reliable . The dependent construct R-square is used to analyze the effect of the specific independent variable on the dependent latent variable, which displays the magnitude of the effect. Business Sustainability is affected by the Green Development Model. This study’s results show the effect of the Green Development Model on Business Sustainability. The t-statistic value is greater than the beta score. So the explanation above will show that the Green Development Model significantly affects Business Sustainability. A real estate company that also implements the Green Development Model is a form of Business Sustainability that is currently implemented, so it is very influential between the Green Development Model on Business Sustainability.

Abstract

One form of the company's contribution to the maintenance and preservation of the surrounding community's finances is through the implementation of CSR based on local wisdom. Through this management, the company will be able to establish positive relationships with the community. This study uses a qualitative methodology, namely the methodology part of library research, and uses secondary data obtained through document analysis studies. The results of the study reveal that the management of CSR based on local wisdom by public companies leads to sustainable development and involves the implementation of the BRI Peduli Community Development Program. The program is to contribute to the improvement of environmental conditions, social conditions, and the economy. BRI Peduli's CSR program is implemented in three stages, namely socialization, implementation, and internalization. One of them is through the program carried out by PT BRI, the number of which continues to increase every year. The implementation and distribution of various programs and assistance from BRI demonstrates its commitment to sustainable development and the application of sustainable finance principles as a means of implementing Financial Services Authority Regulation 51/POJK.03/2017 concerning the Implementation of Sustainable Finance for Financial Services Institutions, Issuers, and Public Companies.

Abstract

The problem that occurs at PT Hamana Works Indonesia is that the employee's performance has not been maximized, which is indicated by the fact that there are still many employees who use their leave rights from what has been stipulated. The research was conducted by collecting data by using a questionnaire on all employees with a total of 62 employees as respondents. Data from 2019 to 2020 shows an increase in employees using leave entitlements beyond the stipulated and reaching 50% in 2020. Researchers conducted tests using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) Partial Least Square or SEM PLS approach using tools in the form of statistical software, namely Smart pls. The results of the study are self-efficacy does not have a significant impact on employee performance, competence does not have a significant impact on employee performance, remuneration does not have a significant impact on employee performance, leadership has a significant effect on employee performance, communication has no significant effect on employee performance, Organizational citizenship behaviors have a significant effect on performance employees, self-efficacy has a significant effect on OCB, competence has a significant effect on OCB, remuneration has no impact on OCB, leadership has no impact on OCB, communication has a significant effect on OCB, self-efficacy through OCB has a significant effect on performance, competence through OCB has no significant effect on performance , remuneration through OCB has no significant effect on employee performance, leadership through OCB has no significant effect on performance and communication has a positive effect through OCB on app employee performance. Researchers suggest companies to improve leadership, OCB, competence, communication and self-efficacy for employees.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan memahami strategi adaptif yang digunakan oleh organisasi dalam menghadapi bencana dan tantangan mendadak. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data akan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan manajer senior yang bertanggung jawab dalam manajemen krisis di organisasi Food dan Beverage di Kota Bandung yakni Wheels Coffee dan Roasters. Selain itu, analisis dokumen seperti rencana kontinuitas bisnis, kebijakan manajemen krisis, laporan kejadian, dan evaluasi krisis akan dilakukan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang strategi adaptif yang digunakan. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi adaptif dalam menghadapi bencana dan tantangan mendadak di antaranya adalah dengan memantau lingkungan internal dan eksternal, sikap fleksibilitas dan adaptabilitas, rencana kontinjensi, komunikasi yang transparan, kolaborasi yang efektif, pembelajaran dan evaluasi terhadap manajemen krisis yang telah diimplementasikan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk memberi motivasi kepada siswa-siswa SMK Negeri 2 Tegal khususnya siswa kelas 3 yang akan menghadapi kelulusan agar mereka mempunyai semangat untuk memulai berwirausaha terutama di masa pandemi ini. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu presentasi, pemberian motivasi, ice breaking, serta sesi tanya jawab dan diskusi. Materi yang akan disampaikan yaitu mengenai konsep kewirausahaan, cara mendirikan usaha, strategi pemasaran, dan dampak bisnis alih teknologi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah tumbuhnya semangat para siswa untuk berwirausaha yang dilihat dari peran aktif siswa dalam bertanya dan diskusi terkait kewirausahaan.
